Personality: A life of captivity and torment has left Atarijor untrusting of those who have not shared his pains. His speech is poor, but at least intelligible. Despite his distrust, Atar is fiercely loyal. He often suffers from nightmares and will become reclusive for up to two days after. Atar strives to be a Healer instead of continuing on as the warrior he was forced to be. But because of the time he spent as a form of entertainment for the Humans, as a gladiator, he is prone to killing even if it isn't his intention. Atarijor has a severe inferiority complex, seeing non-slave/captive-born dragons as superior to himself, due in part to some slight discrimination suffered at the hands of his human captors.

General Appearance
Height: 112ft
Scales: Dark blue and black
Eyes: Blue
Appearance: Atar is a wyvern. But the three long toes at the end of his wings allow for greater mobility compared to others. Spikes line his tail and there is webbing between them. Hard plating covers his chest. His eyes are bright blue and appear to glow. Two horns sit on his head. His muzzle is short and he is missing some teeth. His scales are a mix of dark blue and black. His wings are mostly blue with some black along the tops. He has a lean build and still bears some scars on his sides, belly, and face. Having some SkyWing in his blood, his body is covered in a very thin layer of black feathers-which are hard to see.

Appearance during captivity: Ator's horns are broken. His claws are ground down to near nonexistence. He is missing teeth and the membrane of his left wing is shredded. When not being made to fight, he wears a heavy muzzle. His horns are broken. His body is riddled with scars and fresh wounds. His right wing, though it can be opened, is barely able to be lifted due to muscle atrophy.

Skills and Abilities
Strengths: Having spent some time as a gladiator, Atarijor is incredibly adept at fighting, and will if he must even though he is a Healer. The webbing between his tail spikes allow for greater stability during flight. Because of his NightWing heritage, Atar can see quite well in the dark. Atarijor is quite strong because of the grueling labor he had to do in captivity. He can drag massive boulders that weigh up to a ton by himself, even with injuries.

Special Abilities: Atar can, once a week, make his ice breath cold enough to freeze even the blood. Any part of the body hit by this extremely cold ice breath would freeze, rendered useless for a few hours. But using this ability would raise Atar's body temperature, weakening him.

Weaknesses: Atar will always bear mental scars from his time in captivity. He often goes without much sleep due to his nightmares. Atar is submissive by nature and, unless forced to fight, will always try appeasement over confrontation. Because of his unsually short muzzle and some damage sustained to it, Atar's sense of smell is very poor.

Combat Style: Atarijor was trained to fight to the death, thus he will attempt to continue fighting beyond his physical capabilities.

Background
History: Atarijor was born in captivity prior to joining the IceWings. His early years were spent working on machinery until he was selected to be a gladiator. He barely survived his first fight, having been pitted against a veteran. But with help from perhaps the only Human--that he was aware of--who took pity on his kind, he survived. His gladiatorial career was brutal, mentally and physically. Though winning meant he might live another day, he hated to kill his kin. Every fight left him covered in scars and wounds, new and old. And one day his life took a completely, but still dangerous turn. His human guard helped him and a few others escape. But freedom was a concept he didn't understand, and his previous life left him completely unprepared. Atar endured many more hardships before finally arriving at the paws of the IceWings, hardly recognizable as dragonkind and barely living.

Atarijor eventually recovered, physically, and became a Healer. Since the invasion that nearly wiped out dragonkind, Atarijor now resides within a hidden cave with the remnants of the IceWing/SeaWing alliance. His dragonspeech has improved thanks to the tutelage of Snowblaze, an IceWing Guardian, but he still has an odd dialect.

RP Sample: Baldirak crept up behind Cosmos, Arkhor, and Celestia as they slept, under the cover of night. He leaned in close to them, his breath just barely reaching their scales. And then, with a deep breath, lungs filled to their capacity, he shouted, "Wake up!"
