Dragon Gods

Okay, so I'm sure you're all aware of the big six, the Dragon Gods of Destruction and the Dragon Gods of Creation. However, I have come to realize something. Each Dragon God has their own religion and belief system their believers follow. Here are some ideas to make Dragon Gods embrace their part in the world of the dragons.

Invisibility- This is probably the most important. The reason for this rule is because it would be weird to just randomly bump into the dragon you worship, now wouldn't it be? Basically, this rule makes it so that Dragon Gods are only visible to Semi Gods and Healers. Demi gods can see Dragon Gods ONLY if they are blood-related to the Dragon God, for example, Astral's kids.

Religion- Now, as I mentioned above, I said religion. Now, this idea has TECHNICALLY been approved already, however, the only Dragon God who has actually named their religion is Astral. If you are one of the six Dragon Gods, you can create your own religion, with its own customs and its own name. There will be shrines lain out for that dragon god. But there would only be so many shrines in each tribe. For example, Aisha is the goddess of life, so there would be a shrine for her in every tribe. But for gods like Paradox, the god of chaos and insanity, he would probably only have shrines in rogue territory, with satanic followers.

Realms- Each dragon god would possess their own realm, hidden somewhere elsewhere, existing in another dimension. For example, Nimbus's realm is Heaven. Paradox's realm could be somewhere, like, say, a demented version of Pyyria. Phantom's world could be a place filled with war, similar to Paradox's. Aisha could reside in a place like Heaven, where dragons go if they want to have another life and be reborn. Astral's world could be some space-like area, where she can create stars and planets. And Kazumi's could be a rainbow place with gumballs and potatoes, or something They could also put all the offerings they get from the churches in here. And perhaps, in rare cases, such as with Astral and Nimbus, they could place their kids in this realm, where they are always safe.

Alright, these are all the ideas I have involving the gods. Do you have any other ideas? Please let me know your opinions in the comments!

Okay.. let me just step in and say a few things.

Okay, so I have no problem with this but.. "Nimbus's realm is Heaven." I don't understand. How would it be heaven? ;-; I feel like Death is too negative to have a realm like this. T^T

Well, it was just a random example. It doesn't have to be heaven, it could be Hell, or whatever.

I think that this is a very good idea. The whole point of dragons being gods is because they have power. You cant see Jesus/God so why would be able to see the dragon gods. I think you should be able to see them if you believe in the religion or if they want you to be able to see them because if the dragons need to speak to others who dont believe in them they need to make themselves known other than speaking.

Oh, no. Phantom would want a place where there's magical ponies and huge double rainbows and candy and sunshine everywhere!!!! Jk XD


Now that i think about it, this is actually a pretty good idea. Though i dont think Phantom's world would be that chaotic....

It'd be good if the Gods choose who they present themselves to. Boom, short post.

What if the gods could present themselves in different forms? Like Astral could appear sometimes as a bat, sometimes as an owl, and sometimes as a dragon to speak to or interact with mortals. And perhaps they could have a sacred weapon or armor piece that contains huge amounts of power? Like Phantom could have a sword and Nimbus could have a scythe. I like this idea!

Also, just putting it out there, would it make sense if certain Tribes choose who they acknowledge in their God Pantheon in reference to all the Gods as a whole? Ties into the Religion debate on which Tribe openly worships and has shines to which specific Gods.

Well, it would depend on the tribe. I think each tribe would have at least one church and at the most, three. The only churches would probably be for the gods of creation, Astral, Kazumi, and Aisha, whereas the gods of destruction, such as Phantom, Nimbus, and Paradox would not have big churches, but rather, smaller things.

For one, I highly doubt any tribe would worship insanity. This would be more of a satanic cult, and would probably be more in the rogue area, or a hidden shrine in the tribe.

For Nimbus, people wouldn't always worship the god of death. They could have a cemotary, with a statue of Nimbus, and whenever a dragon dies, they would pray to him, and perhaps have little statues of him in their houses.

For Phantom, they could wear necklaces of Phantom whenever there's a war, so that she could help them fight. Or they could have little statues of Phantom in their houses during a war.

Ok first off the dragons gods already have their own specific weapons. We haven't figured out the weapons of the some of the new gods though. Anyways Rayla I already told you I was going to make this happen why did you go and make a topic about it. Oh well since this is here.

All your dragon gods type out your religion and post them here. Semi gods too you guys can have your own little mini religions.

Astral, I don't think the Semi Gods should have religions. It would be..... weird >.< Not that I'm against, I just think it would be strange for the dragon, since some of the Semi gods are also lieutenants and stuff, like Arkhor.

yeah not sure about it, but like the idea of the gods.

Perhaps the semi gods could have miniature cults. Or maybe small altars in their respected tribes. Ark could have one in the Seawing palace, Solstice could have one in the Icewing palace and so fourth.

I suppose I would have to agree with you. The semi gods are under the command of their respective tribe leader. We don't want to have them more glorified than the leaders as though could cause serious problems. Sorry semi gods no mini religions for you.
