Swimming on Frozen Waters

Flapping hard as she came to a stop, the young trainee IceWing looked down at the lake below her, head tipped to the side. She'd planned on going hunting... but now another thought popped into her mind. Her wings closed to her sides and she dived, streaking towards the ice like a little bullet, landing hard on top, snorting in satisfaction as a crack resounded through the air. Soft clicks followed as Wisp backed up, looking at the crack curiously. "I can break that," she said to herself, and was in the air again within moments. Climbing high once more, Wisp repeated her dive, landing hard on all fours with another thump. This time, though, the ice broke through and Wisp almost seemed to disappear as she fell under the ice, letting out a little squeal of excitement and surprise.

Frostbite, who had been quarreling with Viper nearby, immediately bid a goodbye to the FireWing, and ran towards the sound when she heard a squeal. She saw a little white dragon plunging into the ice, and Frostbite immediately reached out and grabbed the dragon. She hauled her out, and dusted her off. "What're you doing here, kid?" she asked. "You could have died, ya know." She recognized the little dragon. It was one of the IceWing trainees. Wisp, was it? She was one little prankster. She even got Snowfall once, which was pretty surprising.

Every muscle in Wisp's body stiffened in surprise when she was hauled right back out. "Hey!" she said, turning her head to look at Frostbite. "I wouldn't have died, I was doing that on purpose!" She tipped her head to the side. "Don't you ever go swimming?" Head tipping to the side, there was a moment's pause as Wisp searched for the name. "Frostbite?"

Blizzard busy doing his usual maintenance in the place, when Snowfall turned up telling him to find Frostbite his sister, anywho he shrugged and chose to follow the order. Knowing that she would no doubt be around the borders, he started towards the the Firewing border. After a few hours of flight he finally spotted her along with a smaller Icewing, curious he smirked and flew down to greet the pair. While landing close by snow blasted off the surface around him, "Hey Frost... Snow wants you..." then tilting his head towards the trainee, "Sorry have we met?" as he crept up towards the too. He spotted water dripping from the trainee's head as she was being held up, then spotting the large hole underneath. "Frost... this a bad time?" he smirked

When he spoke, Wisp's emerald gaze turned to Blizzard, and her head tipped to the side. Have I met him? She thought when he asked, scanning her memories, but coming up with nothing. She'd probably seen him around, but she didn't remember talking to him much before. Even his name was a blank in her mind. Wisp shook her head, a few water droplets flicking off of her as she did so. "I don't think so," she said. When his next statement was made, however, she pulled her head back in an almost offended look. "Am I the only one around here that likes to go swimming every once in a while? It's a lake, not a volcano. I was gonna be fine!"

The icy trainee soared down from above. He tilted his head slightly. "What's wrong with swimming?" he chirped, walking over, looking into the crack of the ice, craving the freezing cold water. So, he just got in, and bobbed with his head inside the hole, beating his wings to stay afloat.
