A Quiet Day (Private With Arkhor)

Oceana was at her den where she and Arkhor lived. She was tired, bored, and nothing to do. Her mate was out doing jobs, for he was the lieuteneant. All of the hatchlings seemed to be training or stuff like that or playing on their own. She laid on her stomach waiting and waiting.. She flashbacked all those memories with Ark. She had became mates with for over a year now and her hatchlings were growing a bit older too. She sighed.. It was truly a quiet day. Oceana hoped that later it could lively up a bit. After all, it was only the start of the afternoon.

smiling seeing Adra dashing towards the water, walking along side Ocean, getting close to the water edge. Within moments Ocean dived into the clear waters, causing a splash towards Ark. He chuckled as the water splashed against his scales. Choosing to dive after he dashed after her, extending one of his paws trying to catch her tail. Smirking as he gained speed towards her but keeping an eye on Adra.

Adra reached the waves, which, though small, reached her shoulder, and waded until her head went under, blinking and beginning to paddle, using her tail as a rudder as she twisted through the water like a snake. Popping her head up, she watched curiously as her parents followed her in, her orange eyes happy. She then dived under again, swimming up behind her mother and playfully grabbed on to her tail with a little muffled growling sound.

Oceana splashed another wave back at her mate before noticing Adra next to her on her tail. Letting out a small, playful growl, she took her tail out of the water to let Adra float on top of the water. Then, she sunk deeper into the water with Adra with her. She swam around waiting and waiting to see what Ark would do next.

Smirking Ark took chase, letting out a playful roar of his own, he swipe his tail close by creating a small whirlpool under water, As the current pulled them both closer he gently grabbed Adra by the tail and proceeded to hug her close to his chest while being pulled into the whirlpool. Not fighting the current his body span around almost like giving Adra a ride, finally reaching the end of the whirlpool he stopped to check on the hatchling and began laughing towards them both.

The little blue hatchling held right to her mother's tail as she was pulled out of the lake, her body streaming water, then brought under once more, switching the tip of Oceana's tail from her mouth to her claws, gripping tightly and letting the water stream into her face.
When the current began, Adra's eyes brightened and she let Arkhor pull her to him, swinging her tail happily in the current and laughing brightly. When the whirlpool stopped she shook her head to clear the dizziness, turning to look up at her father's face curiously.

Oceana quickly lept up from the whirpool, narrowly missing her to grab her in. Laughing, she dove up and out of the lake. Reaching high up into the clouds, she dove back into the lake at an amazing speed and once her body hit the water, it almost exploded into a volcano (except it's water. XD) Quickly leaping back up, she watched with amusement as her mate and her daughter got out of the mess.

Ark surfaced with Adra as he watched Ocean swiftly rise and dive up into the air, within moments he realized what she was doing. Smirking he grabbed hold of Adra gently making sure she wasn't caught up in the water. Suddenly Ocean smashed into the water releasing a large wave towards them both, allowing himself to be caught in the wave. As he chuckled, with a whip of his tail he created a jet stream underwater pulling Ocean towards them, grabbing hold of her, he laughed "How'd you like it"

Adra, who had been swimming away, let out a small noise of protest when Arkhor dragged her back. "Daddy!" She squealed. When she saw Oceana, however, she fell silent, watching in wonder at her two abilities with water. Part of her wondered silently what use her power was, drawing water towards her. No use at all, as she'd seen so far. When Arkhor spoke she was jolted back to present, and she turned her gaze on her mother curiously, expecting her two answer.

"Oww... That hurts." Then Oceana grinned at Adra and Arkhor, "Meh. You two can continue to go play. I'm gonna go rest against the beachside." She walked up to shore and then laid herself against the gleaming sun loving the hot rays against her smooth scales. She looked up to make sure that her mate and youngest daughter were okay, and luckily, they were. Watching them laughing and splashing each other with water, Oceana thought to herself, "I really have a amazing family."

Ark nodded, turning his attention back towards Adra, continuing to splash water towards her. Chuckling away he smiled as he curled his tail around her. "Hey... did you want tickles?" he smirked as he swiftly tickled her underbelly. He slightly glanced over to Ocean, as she relaxed on the beach side, stopping for a moment he whispered to Adra, "Hey watch this.." he spoke with a cheeky grin. Ark began to glow, as he was using his power. Within moments on the other side of the beach a large water orb formed out of the Ocean, Ark couldn't help but chuckle as he slowly and carefully hovered it over Oceana, suddenly he dropped it soaking Ocean. His chuckling became apparent to Oceana now, as he give her a smirk.

Adra used her wings to splash water at her father, though her waves ended up so small she doubted they'd affect him in the slightest. It was fun anyway, though, so she giggled all the same. When his tail wrapped around her, she lifted her for legs a bit, letting herself be pulled over.

She smiled excitedly when he began to make the water bubble, trying to keep as quiet as possible until it fell on her head, at which point she let out a loud squeal of laughter.

Laying against the sand and then.. cold water hit her. She was surprised, "HEY! THAT'S COLD! Sheesh. I need rest!" Then, automatically and without warning, she lept up and playfully tackled Arkhor. "See? Payback! I'm NICE!" They played for a little longer and then Oceana hugged her daughter and her mate. "You know? I'm glad to have you two. Plus the other growing hatchlings." She gave Ark and lick and Adra a pat on the head.

As Ark snickered Ocean charged at him and tackled him, gasping slightly they both smashed into the waves causing a large splash. Giving her a smirk he chuckled "Now your all wet " shortly after she embraced him and Adra. Ark Returned the hug with a lick on her cheek "Hey I'm happy, that I have my family" giving them a smile. Then flopping onto his back deciding to take a moment to relax floating on the waves.
