A reunion with solitude. (Private/Family)

Thirahan has a lot of conflict going on in his family. New siblings, the kidnapping years ago was fresh in his mind. He was 15 and despite his exotic nature, he kept his distance from his family. His father was apparently a god, but this wasn't new news. Thirahan had been relaxing along a riverside on a slippery stone surface. It was sunny, the heat tickled his scales. His tail flicked with every passing breeze.

He had no idea what was going on back with the others but he didn't want to get involved. He was more of the brother awaiting a call home. It's not like he was lonely or anything. He always found something to do. Exotic things to do rather. Much like diving into lakes from hill cliffs, chasing schools of fish, being chased by sea predators. This was the life for him. He was protective over his sister, Aari, though. So he always expects her to be safe when he arrives home. He continued to sunbathe, and sighed in joy. He had always went here, it was a slim river, he had always hung here by himself since he was 8.

OOC: I couldn't think of anything, or what he was doing during such times o_o.

Ark had decided to find Thirahan, he guessed that he would be in his usual spot, sunbathing and relaxing not taking much action in the tribe. Aari was with her father as she was also keen to spend some time with Thirahan since it has been quite along time since he had returned back to the family den. Ever since Ark had become mates with Ocean, Thirahan as started to distance himself from the family, this disheartened him as he wanted to spend some more time with his son. As Ark was soaring over the treeline he spotted Thirahan's usual hiding spot, he dived down only to be greeted with him sunbathing as usual on a slimy rock by the riverside. Landing close by he smiled at him and greeted him, "Hey, long time no see"

Thirahan was surprised to hear such a familiar voice. He wasn't shocked of how familiar the voice was, he was shocked on who it came from. His father. Thirahan yawned before pushing himself onto his rear with his wing membranes. He shook his head before staring at his father, "What do you need?" He said in a rather docile tone. He was dry as sand when he awoken, after all, he sunbathed for so long.

So in the meantime he splashed some water onto him with the flick of his tail. He scratched his eyes with the back of his claw, trying to wake up. But before his father could answer Thirahan, he added onto his previous sentence, "And no, I'm not gonna come home for the rest of the day, I'd rather hang out here."

Ark sighed, walking towards Thira as he watched him washing his face, clearly he must had been sleeping. "Look... I understand that you don't want stay coped up, now that your becoming more independent... don't disappear on me" he smiled, he did want to spend more time with his son. "I know that you've become distant with me, but this is an important time for you and the rest. You guys are now adults... not far off my age when I met your mother, anyway I'm always here for you guys" As he splashed him with his tail, giving a smile.

Thirahan smiled. Despite himself becoming more dependent, he would never intend to shut his loved ones out, he spoke in his lovable tone as always. "Thanks dad, but I don't think I'll be meeting a special someone anytime soon. I guess you and mom, had a affair of some sort." But after splashing his body with the fresh water from the river, he turned over to his father face to face, "But I think you've been pushing yourself too hard. Likewise, I'll be here for you too."

Scanning the area, he looked towards the direction of where his father came from, "What's going on back there?" He asked curiously, patiently bobbing his head and sniffing the air.

Ark nodded, "Perhaps... Yeah where doing fine, the little ones are growing quickly, but I havn't seen Rayla or Vaynad recently" giving him another smile, he gazed towards the treeline. He had a feeling that they where being watched, he quickly scanned around for an unwanted stranger. He sniffed the air, and started to become uncomfortable, he slightly whispered to Thira. "Thira..... I think where being watched....." He prepared himself in case.

Looking in the direction his father was scanning, he looked around. "I think that old head of yours just got a loose screw. It's probably nothing!" He chuckled Sitting back down on his rear. "Go check, I know it's probably a animal of some sort. In fact, I would've noticed it if there was something!" Laughing again, he didn't take the thought too seriously. Soon after sitting down, he got back up and immediately dove into the river. It was a slow current so he was barely moving. He positioned himself as if he were laying down, revealing his underbelly and feet. Looking at his father, he grinned, "You need to relax. Take a break, go for a swim. You gotta get away from all your duties and family and just take a vacation. Seriously. I mean, you and Oceana could just go on vacation while me and a few others can take charge. Since I don't have any responsibilities, fortunately."

Ark was still unsure, but he continued towards the river. Deciding to rest for a bit with Thirahan. "Perhaps.... I've been thinking of resigning my role... Since I can't keep up with the duties and help protect you guys.." he rolled onto his back in the wet mud soaking himself leaving him feeling refreshed. He glanced again to Thirahan, "Hey have you chosen what to do yet?" he asked

Yawning, he laid down and gazed at the cloudy sky, the sun beaming down onto his wet scales soothed him as he closed his eyes and spoke over to his father. "Not really, I'm not really cut out for the positions the SeaWings offer. I'm probably better off doing nothing. But ya'know, I bet more opportunities will reveal themselves soon enough."

Ark turned his head, "Well your gona have to decide soon... other wise I don't know if the others will have time to see you" Ark worried about Thirahan, if he didn't make his mind up soon, he may end up becoming a rogue which ment that he wouldn't be able to spend more time with him or the others.
