Joining the Tribe(Firewings Only)

It had been a few weeks since the strange feathered dragon had made her way to Pyrria, and she had flitted from tribe to tribe, trying to decide which one-or if she was going to join at all. The Skywings and Firewings where her final two choices, and she settled on the Firewings. her powers and temperment fit them much better than the Skywings. Claws clicked onto stone blackened by ash and smoke, and she glanced around curiously. Her feathers gleamed slightly, and made a soft ruffling noise as she moved. She started forward at a slow, even pace, waiting for someone to find her, so she could join the tribe and finally have a place to call a real home.

Erinyes had smelled a new presence, not too far from the limits of the firewing territory, so she snarled a little and turned her head in that direction, suddenly opening her wings and flapping them, reaching the sky in few seconds
"who is so crazy to dare entering our territory?" she wisphered to herself and flapped her wings again to make a better use of the wind's currents
it took not too much time to spot the intruder, as she noticed it she began to glide, and the more closest she was, the more particular noticed, and the fact that this dragon has feathers surprised her a little. She finally landed in front of her and gazed at the dragoness with a not very happy expression
"who are you and why are you entering this territory?!" she said trying to mantain a strong tone of voice, like to mimic her brother's moves

Volcanis was flying around the FireWings territories as usual, doing his job of Guardian. He noticed a intruder moving its way inside the tribe's borders. Volcanis immediately recognized the other dragon. She was Asaya, the strange dragon with feathers he has meet a couple of days ago. The same dragon that has offended Volcanis feelings, though she was completely unaware about the FireWing's past.

The FireWing flew towards the other dragon and he recognized also his sister, Erineyes. She was completely cocky to think to face a mighty dragon like Asaya. The feathered dragon looked to be very strong and dangerous. The FireWing landed down near his smaller sister. "Erin, it's up to me to welcome strangers." He snarled at her, jealous that she was attempting to take control of the situation. Then Volcanis walked towards the feathered dragon with his usual majestic appearance. "It's you, Asaya." He told her with a voice that sounded to be a bit rude, revealing to have a sort of dislike towards her. The flirtatious and boastful FireWing was completely gone, leaving space to a serious and diffident dragon. "I guess you have your reasons to venture yourself until here." He warned her with a suspicious growl. Volcanis was ready to defend the FireWings territories if necessary. Dragon rogues were known to cause a lot of problems, though it wasn't probably Asaya's case.

A feathered crest twitched and Asaya glanced up as a dragoness swooped down, a threatening look on her face. Asaya attempted to keep a slightly innocent and nonthreatening expression. She opened her mouth to say something, when an old face flew down to meet her as well. Her slamost friendly face twisted to a scowl. "Mornin' Breath." She answered coolly to his frst statement, then answered his final. "Ah came teh join yer tribe." Her voice was harsh and snippy, revealing a slight distaste. Her gold eyes narrowed at his tone.

The FireWing snarled in anger when she called him with that name. "My name is Volcanis, the strongest fire dragon in Pyyria. Got it?" He exalted himself as usual, looking into her eyes to intimidate Asaya a little. "Or do you want to be called chicken for the rest of your life?" He teased her in response before to sit down. Volcanis was definitely disliking the other female and she looked to have the same aversion. "So do you want to join us? The FireWings will certainly welcome you." Volcanis told her with a wink. "We were actually missing a mighty and beatiful female in the tribe." He started to give Asaya compliments, revealing to still have a bit interest towards her.

Asaya gave a mock bow to his introduction. "Oh, mah apologies yer Majesty. Please fergive me and allow me teh grovel at yer feet." The sarcasm in her voice was so thick, you could cut it with a knife. A snarl immediately crossed her face at his name for her, and she drew herself up to her full height, giving her a few inches on him. "Do it and die." She hissed. When the male dropped his guard, Asaya allowed herself to relax ever so slightly. "Ah'd join if'n you'll have meh." She pointedly ignored his compliments. She didn't care for males who only focused on the outside. Giver her a male who read the book instead of looking at it, and you may be on to something.

Avian soared around the skies of the FireWing territory, visiting his lands again and inspecting it from a bird's eye view of any dangers as getting close to lava was uncomfortable. From his view and with his sharp eyes, he spotted 3 dragons: Volcanis, Asaya and Erinyes.

Since Volcanis was there, trouble would follow. Avian's wings contracted and closed right in, causing a freefall with his spinning quickly in a clockwise rotation as he descended down from about a mile in the sky. As he came close enough to the ground, his wings instantly spread open, sending dust and rock into the air, then shut once again as he dropped down, moving his feet forward. "Woah! Volcanis! What's going?" he looked at his fellow FireWing with curious eyes, "Are you braggi- No, nevermind... who.... this dragon?" Avian took his attention entirely off of Volcanis and fixed it on the new dragon as nothing good could really come off of talking to Volcanis unless you're a masochist. "Am... hello? Can I help you?" And apparently, he's about to tick off Volcanis by... only God knows what as I don't have a clue myself....

Avian dropped his rear and took a sitting stance, as he listening to the feathered dragon with his head tilted slightly.

The crest twitched again as another dragon made it's presence known, and the feathered wyvern glanced up. who appeared now was not your usual firewing. ((Going off Avian's profile pic)) This dragon wasn't exactly gold..or orange...or yellow...or red. Well, maybe some red but definitely only red. This one was also blue and green. Rather strange for a Firewing, as far as Asaya had seen so far. She shook herself as the male sat down in front of her and she opened her mouth to answer. "The name's Asaya, Rainbow, an' ah'm here teh join the Firewings." She gave a curious stare. "I assume yer with them?"

He turned to Volcanis with one paw the bottom of his jaw in contemplation, then back to Asaya as the placed his hand to the ground again. "Am... define 'them'... if you mean Volcanis here-" he pointed to the lethal murderous FireWing, "-then yes, I am." he nodded in response to her question. "But I'm not really FireWing in terms of race, just the lieutenant of this faction." he declared to the feathered dragon.

This draw herself was strange, as Avian finally noticed and began to question why she had feathers and such, she reminded Avian of Solstice of the IceWing tribe. He lifted his paw and raised one claw into the air, "If you are here to join, then you will have to speak with ShadowFir-" he paused for a moment before turning to Volcanis himself. "Volcanis, have you seen Shadowfire?" he enquired, as he expected their King to show up as usual..... as usual..... he guessed.

Volcanis loudly laughed at Asaya's words. "Die? I'm pretty sure I would burn all your plumes first and make you a roast chicken." He provoked her in response, unaware that the feathered dragon had actually a resistance against fire.

Volcanis noticed Avian arriving. He snarled at him annoyed. "No, I haven't seen Shadowfire." He answered.  "Anyway i'm not bragging. " He immediately replied "I'm really the strongest fire dragon in Pyyria. Maybe the strongest dragon ever existed." Volcanis was now exaggerating and being delirious. He flexxed his muscles to appear mighty and powerful. A seductive and fascinating smile on his snout was clearly communicating. Hey, look at me, I'm beatiful and strong.

As the little troop was standing near a great volcano, some noise of metal hammering against metal could be heard. From the outside, nothing could be seen. But on the inside, it was just a usual day for Vulcan, standing at his forge, doing some work on his Clarent, the war hammer he made himself.

'Just a bit more. I only need a few more hours of work before I got that thing upgraded and renewed once again.

With that in mind, he simply continued to work, making nonetheless the same working sounds of metal hammering against metal.

Asaya couldn't help but give a bark of laughter in response to Volcanis' threat. "Burn mah feathers? Not even you c'n burn one who's already on fire." With that, Asaya's feathers exploded into flame. She stood unscathed, her feathers not turning to ash, her skin not blackening. She stood just as she was before. With the temperature upped a bit. She turned her attention back to Avian without dimming the fire. "Ah'm assuming this 'Shadowfire' is the leader of this tribe?"

Avian blinked without worries, nothing wrong with someone exploding into flames, however, she didn't really pose a threat, not yet at least. Avian then turns to Volcanis, he actually WAS bragging, whether it be true or not.... his claims were false, but Avian lets him bask in his arrogance, even Solstice was more dangerous than him to Avian.

"Sigh...... Yes, Shadowfire's our leader, we don't where he is though, but as Lieutenant of the tribe, I think I might be able to get you in." he scratched the side of his head as the spoke the last sentence. Was anyone really paying attention to Volcanis, he wondered?

Shadowfire was innocently yelling at Xylnthian for trying to flirt with an IceWing (in chat he was flirting with Snowfall ) when suddenly he spotted the tiny flame he always kept beside him sending a signal. Unfortunately he didn't spot the flickering flame until ten minutes after it started because he was distracted. "Disturbance in the borders... A newcomer," he muttered, swinging his head around to glare at Xylnthian. "She's a girl. Pretty temperamental. No flirting. She'd probably bite your tail off anyway." With that he took off, heading for the spot the flame had showed him. Finally he showed up at the spot, glad that Avian was already there. Turning to Volcanis, he scoffed, "How goes, strongest dragon in Pyyria?"

Xylnthian flew after Shadowfire quickly, rolling his eyes. Landing, he narrowed his eyes at the feathered dragon in front of him. "Oh. It's you, Asaya. Yo. You're here to join the tribe, then?" He allowed a friendly (if not flirtatious XD) smile to slip onto his face. "That's cool. It's always nice to have new dragons in the tribe." He dipped his head thoughtfully. "I'm sure you can get in. A big tough b*stard on the outside, a ...... big tough b*stard on the inside, I guess." He sweatdropped at his last remark, then turned to glare at his brother. "But it IS true," he smirked. "Don't deny the fact."

Asaya allowed the fire on her feathers to go out as two other dragons arrived. She glanced over at the one she hadn't met before and dipped her head. "Shiney, an'....Shadowfire ah presume?" She asked, cocking her head to the side slightly. "Ah hear ah hafta ask you if ah wanna join yer tribe." It wasn't a question, but she stifled a laugh at Xylntian's comment about his brother.

Avian stumbled backwards at Shadowfire's and Xylnthian's sudden appearance. "Woah! Didn't know FireWings were that fast!" that comment might sound ironic, but only if people are ignorant to what Avian is. He sweated the heat of the surrounds, either that or Shadowfire's comments on Volcanis's comments. However, he did chuckle a bit, covering his maw and looking away as their King mocked Volcanis a bit.

He smugged at Xylnthian's last comment, muttering to him "You do realize you'll get your tail rip off with that attitude, right? Also... you're not flirting with her... are you?" He looks a Shadowfire, then to Xylnthian, then back to ShadowFire, then back to the ground, then at Asaya, then to Xylnthian, then Volcanis who he almost forgot was here, then glanced a mountain, then back to focusing at the situation at hand... or at paw, or even at claw.

"So, Shadow-flames, what's the call? To let her be joined or not to be joined?" he spoke with an altered voice, sounding a dragonic version of William Shakespeare just for a comical effect, I mean, the forth wall might even be broken soon!
"And... anyone care to introduce me? Seemingly I'm probably the only one here who doesn't know her.... I mean, did you guys talk at the cha- Am.... never mind...." Yikes, 4th wall almost broke on purpose! Oh well, Avian is oblivious and seemingly is that was for the on-going time, this is his first time seeing a dragon like Asaya.... except for an IceWing version of her....

Erin had not much time to reply, but as the expression of the featheret dragoness showed no provocation, the expression of Erin turned in a more sweet one and curios too. she made a little growl (hoping to no one else to listen) at Volcanis when he complimented the other females and elbowed him rolling her eyes when he talked about roasted chicken. But she could not disagree that he was strong, even if she know he was exageratting , she had a kind of admiration for her breother because he protected and take care of her, not showing to the tohers his deep side thought, she rolled her eyes at his comments, knowing he was flirting,
But she glanced at the female with a cold gaze when she talked in that way to his brother
"hey..you..." she was gonna to say slow down or something but she turned herself on fire, she was quite surprised and blinked not expecting that, Erinyes had not a real resistance to the fire, and even if she can resist she feel the pain anyway at high temperatures, even if her own scales could become hot and burn. She was quiet and in this silence the heard the noise of metal against metal made by a volcano dragon working, and Avian interrupted them arriving from the sky, she followed his movements while he was landing and listening to him
As they named Shadowfire he came and then Xilnthyans, she sighed and looked at this one with a bored expression because of his behaviour towards females, and repressed a laugh
but she was surprised at the words of the others
"so we are gonna to accept her right now? just like this?" she asked w surprised, because she thought there were more rigid rules, not that she really wanted them, but she was almost shoked, interrupting them and dared to make a step foward, it was like she appearead right now because she was in silence and waited all the time. She was a bit worried because she didn't know her, even if apparently some of them already knew the wyvern
then she turned looking at the female again "Anyway I...it doesn't mean that i have anything against you..." she explained with a sincere (and almost friendly?) expression
she had no reason to act against her, on the countrary she was quite interested and liked her, and she would have liked her more if it was not for the prhases towards volcanis, because she knew Volc had good intentions, but also she find that she was quite funny and didin't disliked the jokes. She din't wanted to test her but neither she felt comfortable to suddenly trust her and was surprised that everyone apparently were trusting her since the first moment they met her, even if her presence in truth was not bothering the young firewing she thought there were a more severe way to pick or not dragons in the tribe

Volcanis looked surprised at Asaya when she covered herself into flames.  "Not bad... My magma scales are way much better than a sack of non-flammable plumes." He was very impressed by her ability, but he didn't want to admit that.

Other FireWings arrived and Volcanis realized they were almost ignoring him. He snarled at Shadowfire's sarcastic comment. "You should take me seriously. When I say I'm the strongest dragon... It's the truth." He replied with a chuckle. Volcanis didn't care much about the other dragons. He glanced at his sister that has been silent all the time. "Erineyes is right. Every new FireWing has to pass a exam. But first..." He looked at the feathered dragon directly into her eyes, not showing any fear. "Which rank are you aspiring?" Volcanis asked. "We have trackers that hunt preys for ME..." He explained starting to talk in a selfish and boastful way. "We have Guardians that protect MY territories." He added. "We have Healers that heal MY wounds... And we have Vulcans that forge weapons and armours for ME.. But I doubt you can do that job with only two legs." Volcanis mocked Asaya with a laugh. The massive FireWing liked to act as a sort of boss and try to appear as the most important member around. However Volcanis was very loyal to the tribe and he cared about the safety of his fellow mates. Volcanis was just a dragon that loved to exalt himself a lot.

Vulcan had to stop his work at this point. There was way too much going on out there for him to concentrate. He put his tools down, lifted Clarent and flew out of the mountain to see a little party of several Firewings standing around, chatting about whatever, it didn't interest him in the slightest. So he just stayed up there to observe what would happen, waiting for them to leave so that he might continue his work.

"I'm sure you're completely and utterly wonderful," Shadowfire told Volcanis dryly. "Oodles of joy to the both of us. Stop flirting." He had considered Volcanis for deputy because of his strength, then immediately decided against it for... Well, everything else. To Xylnthian he said, "I think I already gave you that flirting lecture about three minutes ago. Oh, and thank you so much for that wonderful compliment, dear brother. How 'bout a couple hundred miles- on foot. Have fun!" He turned to Asaya. "Asaya, is it...? Of course you are welcome to join the FireWings."

The Feathered Fireball glanced towards the funny colored dragon. "The name's Asaya, Rainbow. What's yers?"
It wasn't long after that that Asaya was suddenly being flirted with. Again. She ignored Volcanis' jibe and instead turned towards Shadowfire. "If it's up teh me, I'd like tracker. Though, if he ever once tries to boss me around, do ah have permission to go...ah, guardian? On him?" She asked sweetly, ignoring most of the comments of others and focusing on the one who could decide whether she joined or not.

"Avian, pleased to meet you... and if you don't mind me asking, are you related to Volcanis in anyway by any chance?" he inquired with a scared look on his face, because hopefully if she was, or wasn't, he was hoping not to get his face blasted off.

And to Volcanis: "And Volcanis, I work for myself and the FireWing Kingdom, you might have to dig your own grave when you die. No offense, but if you keep this up, I'm just going to ask Shadowfire to kick you into your corner so you can think over what you said." he purposely shoved his words into Volcanis's face, trying not to ruin his pride(Yeah, good going Avian....) but wanted to stop his boasting, it was really annoying, but if it failed, he can just join the others in ignoring his selfish explanations.

Volcanis was aware that Shadowfire was teasing the FireWing Guardian again. Volcanis decided to ignore his leader at this point and turned towards Avian. The Lieutnant's words were irritating Volcanis. "I spend most of my time patrolling the borders to kick every intruder's butt." He immediately replied with a snarl. "I have my right to ask some... consideration?" He smirked. "Also, i'm the strongest FireWing around here. I deserve to be treated like a powerful and revered Lord." Volcanis didn't stop to exalt himself, but his voice wasn't serious. The FireWing didn't really want to act as a sort of boss. He just liked to have the best attentions or appear more important than he truly was. Volcanis looked at Asaya. "So you're going to become a tracker... I let you know that I only accept the most corpulent and succulent preys around." Volcanis warned Asaya. "The smaller ones... You can bring them to Avian." Volcanis mocked the other FireWing.
