Personality: Nightshade is smart and not really good with other dragons. She often sits alone in the cave she is inhabiting at the moment, re-reading old scrolls or newer, stolen (but sometimes bought) ones. She only hunts at night, and does not like to be sought out. She is cautious and does not like to start fights, but will strike back if seriously provoked. She is slow to make allies, and even slower to make friends. But once she is your friend, she will stay loyal to the end.

Interests:
Reading: Loves to read scrolls, stones, or whatever she can get her claws on.
Animals: She likes to watch animals by flying silently over them on cloudy days, as not to disturb them with her shadow.
Stargaze: She likes to look up at the stars as she falls asleep

Dislikes:
Swimming: A given, since she hates water
Humans: Humans killed her parents, so she hates them all
Other dragons in her home: She is VERY protective of territory

Fears: Aquaphobia (fear of water, in her case, large bodies of water)

Height: 15 feet (still growing)
Scales: Dark black
Eyes: Golden with black silts that expand and contract like a cats.
Appearance:Gold coloring under her wings and on her underbelly, along with golden, curving claws and golden horns (basically, black scales with gold claws and horns and underbelly and wings.)

Strengths: Flight maneuvering, and dodging claws and flames.
Special Abilities: The ability to see perfectly in the dark, and blend in perfectly in shadows.
Weaknesses: Large bodies of water, and when there are no shadows to hide in
Combat Style: Nightshade fights sneakily, and likes to dash into shadows if she is outmatched, and confuse her opponent.

Background
History: Nightshade was born in a cave with her mother (all her other siblings never hatched), and her mother taught her all she ever needed to know, and more. Also, her mother entrusted her with ancient scrolls which she reads every day, of prophecies and legends of old. Then one day, when she was 10, a human attacked her cave and killed her mother and burned the scrolls. She escaped and flew off, vowing to find that human later. She can still identify its scent, and has started tracking it, convinced now that she is old enough to fight it. She has memorized the scrolls, and some believe that they held a prophecy for the present in them. Of course, she's the only living one who memorized it, and the actual scrolls themselves are burned....

RP Sample: Nightshade lifted her head and smelled the air. She scented a few deer, and a lion, but no human. She sighed. "Not again! How many times can a dragon lose a scent! And a HUMAN no less!" She roared and smashed her talon in to the ground. "OW!" She yelped, and pulled her talon back and started licking it to ease the pain. She thought to herself I WILL find it....Someday. And then, it won't be able to run...
