Appearance: Polemos is large, and bulky. Muscles ripple beneath his ebony scales with every ground eating step he takes. His wings hold the same coloring as the others, though his silver scales that dot the underside are flecked in gold as well, setting him apart from his fellow dragons. His large horns are a deep navy blue. Two jut from his head, and then smaller sized come from the 'curved' area of his jaw bone. His large teeth are permanently stained by the blood of his enemies, and his tongue is coal black. His eyes are a deep crimson, slit pupils dilated to see through the darkness.
Personality:Polemos lives up to his given name, after the greek spirit of War. Polemos loves to fight, and to taste blood, and has many scars to prove it. Scars that he is very proud of.
He doesn't enjoy to drink or eat the matter of others, only to taste and feel. The feeling of sinking his teeth into another dragon gives him a terrible sense of accomplishment. He is a warrior, and a brute. He is quick to start a fight, though does have morals. He does not kill or fight hatchlings or mothers. Challenging other males is a hobby that he enjoys and does often. Even if not to prove a point, he will do it for the sake of the thrill of a battle. He thinks highly of his birth family, which had taught him these things. He was raised to be a warrior, and a warrior he would be.
Polemos doesn't feel sympathy for others easily, if at all. He has never felt what many call 'love' for others. He views other dragons as fellow warriors. Another dragon's worth is summed up by how well they could help him to fight, rather than who they are or their personality. If someone can impress him, then they earn his respect, which is as close to love as any can get.

History: Polemos was born into a dark family of blood thirsty warriors. Fighting and war is how he was raised. Though he never got to know his father, it was no concern to him. Instead, he was raised by another male in their family group, who taught him everything he knows about fighting. He was his role model, and Polemos watched and mimicked everything he did and taught him. In his tenth year of life, he had been practicing his fighting with some of the other young dragons. During the practice, which was always brutal as it is, he got a direct hit by a head butt to his face, between his mouth and cheek. It actually hadn't hurt too badly, though a cut was left behind, his sense of smell would be impaired from then on, though not totally gone. He grew stronger and larger, and had a true passion for what the family stood for. He dove into each fight, and learned the ways of the warrior outside of battle from his teacher.
He wasn't taught love, or sympathy. He was taught to fight, and win. He was taught that respect was the greatest emotion, and should only be given to those of the highest esteem. In a sense, it replaced love. Polemos was, although, taught friendship. It was important to be able to make an alliance with fellow dragons, especially in tough situations.
In his fourteenth year of life he broke away from his family, to start his own life, as it was accustomed. He began his travels, and soon joined a bachelor group. He was well respected in that group, and considered the leader after he had shown off his skills. He ran a tight ship, and disrespect was punished by physical means. Out of the five that accompanied him, only one of them were left without scars.
Polemos is currently living on his own now, in his own little abode. His thirst for battle and war never ceases, and he still finds ways to battle and fight.
