Finaly Home(Private/Snowblaze)

It had been so long since is paws set foot on this familiar frozen ground. The ice between his claws and in his fur was welcoming, but terrifying all at once. He was home, after so many years of living in far too small cages, and eating nothing but rotten scraps. He was finally around his own kind again, but would they accept or recognize him? Would they welcome the small, furry, lost dragon? Or would they reject him and chase him away?

Odd eyes closed as he rested his forehead against the frozen ground, simply breathing and building up courage. He wasn't sure what to do now, so close to the tribe he was born into, and yet he felt more alone than ever before. As the wined whipped up around him, tousling his thick fur, the small dragon lifted his head and began taking tentative and wary steps in the direction he sensed other dragons. Silently he prayed and hoped to himself he wouldn't be rejected, but the fear had him stopping, turning around, and then heading back again.

This went on for hours, he would take a few steps forward, then back up, then forward again, and then go back. After two hours of this he had only managed to make it a mile closer to the gathering of dragons, with another two or three to go. The sun was setting, and his courage was quickly fading with the light.

Snowblaze was patrolling around her tribe's hideaway. After the Great Wolf attack, she had begun to make these flights more likely. Making sure that these beasts didn't come back. Her mind was in it more intellectual way of thinking, so the Icewing was basically running different ideas through her mind. She sniffed the air, and was surprised. Another dragon? And a new one at that. The dragoness quickly turned her head, trying to locate the dragon.

As the dragoness flew, she spotted a small, black white and grey dragon. The ness got curious. Was he a hatchling, or just a smaller species like a Skywing or Seawing. Either way, she decided to investigate and landed near the smaller dragon. She looked at him, noticing his fur covered body, and canine-like appearance. She then gave him a monotone greeting. "Hello, stranger."

As daylight faded Phealyn decided it may be best to just huddle up for the night rather than trying to walk around in the dark. After a quick look around he began pushing up snow with his paws, trying to make a small dug out to at least shield himself from the nipping winds for the night. Not much progress had been made though before he felt the winds around his shift unnaturally.

Odd eyes looked up, then widened in amazement, wonder, hope, and fear all colliding together as, what he felt, was a massive dragon descending upon him. He had never seen anything so large, what with spending his life in a humans cage. He hoped this strange dragon did not intend to harm him, because there would be nothing he could do to stop it. He was nearly frozen in place, stammering in an attempt to respond,"h-h..h-ell..o" was all he managed to squeak out.

Snowblaze looked down at the much smaller dragon, listening to his nervous greeting. She gave him an odd smile, trying her best to make him more comfortable. Why did her mind have to be calculating now of all time? She then spoke in her monotone voice again. "Who are you, and what are you doing out here by yourself?"

The small dragon shrunk down into the snow a bit, trying to look the least threatening he possibly could in hopes the large dragon wouldn't see him as a threat. He spoke in a soft voice, trying to speak clearly, though his voice cracked a bit,"I'm..Phealyn..I came because..I was hoping I could come home.." he admitted honestly. He really had no other reason for coming other than this is where he knew his home was. This was his birthplace.

Snowblaze listened to the dragon as he seemed to sink into the snow. As he explained why he was there, she could catch a scent on him. Human. He was a former slave.... Like Atarijor. The dragoness's mind switched to being more emotional, allowing a smile to come to her face. She brought her head down, looking the smaller dragon in the eye, and spoke with a happiness in her voice, highly contrasting her earlier monotone. "Well, you've come to the right place."

Phealyn had instinctively flinched as the large dragoness moved closer to him, though the tone she spoke him had his ears perking up hopefully. He stood up a little more, though was still rather wary. He surely hoped this kindness the female was showing was true and not an act, he had been through enough pain and just wanted to be home and wanted. He lifted his head a bit to look at her,"I won't be chased off or killed?" he asked meekly.

Snowblaze looked a bit surprised when she heard him ask if he would be killed or chased off. She sighed a bit. He reminded her of Atarijor. She then nodded, saying "Of course not." She then looked up, sniffing the air to be sure nothing was coming. "So. What's your name?"

The small dragon perked up a bit more, filling with more hope as the female spoke to him in the gentler tone, assuring him he would not be harmed. He took a small step closer and sat in the snow so he was a bit more comfortable as he looked up to speak with her,"my name is Phaelyn, it's nice to meet another dragon" he said and gave a timid smile.

Snowblaze smiled back at the small dragon, nodding when she heard his name. "Well, it's nice to meet you as well Phealyn. I'm Snowblaze, a Guardian of the Icewings."

He smiled a bit more,"It's nice to meet you as well Snowblaze. I've honestly been pretty nervous about meeting another dragon for the first time" he said with a small nervous chuckle. He shifted a bit in the cold snow, though his thick fur kept him very warm and mostly unaffected by the cold winds that were gradually picking up.

Snowlaze smiled again before looking towards... somewhere. She looked back to Phealyn before hearing an all too familiar howl. She shuddered, her mind flipping back to it intellectual state, and the emotion of her face seemed to disappear. The dragoness then looked back to the smaller dragon, speaking with a monotone voice. "We need to move. My tribe has a hidden cave no too far from here. It is the safest place nearby."
