Izobuko - Ready for grading. 12265ac1bf52ff9b73c05e911dfc0871a67ccd356ccf085c0b54174dbe2947c6

https://www.weasyl.com/~adalfyre/submissions/850856/commission-evening-breeze

Type of Character: Dragon. His bloodline is unusual, known for their offsprings' odd lack of abilities (they don't have LightWing abilities or anything unique, etc etc) besides a kagune. There are four different types of them, each with its pros and cons, and Izobuko's an ukaku user. However, they have little to no appetite for normal food, and can only eat their fellow dragons, earning the nickname 'ghoul'. As they grow, they will no longer be able to stand normal food, as it will taste like slime to them. The only thing they can eat besides dragon meat are flower petals, don't ask me why. Their most prominent feature would their black and red eyes that activate when their kagunes are out. He can only remain in this form for 3 posts maximum, before automatically slipping back into his normal mode.

Personal Info
Name: Izobuko Heitura [Ee - zoh - boo - koh / Hey -  too - rah ]
Alias: The Raven is the name whispered across the land; but mostly he goes by Izobuko.
Age: 327
Gender: Male
Sexuality: as long as the dragon appeals to him, he doesn't really care about their gender.
Personality: He appears tough and rebellious, the type to break rules and walk away smirking; to add on to that, he's sharp-tongued, unpleasantly so, and is extremely sarcastic and stubborn, usually earning a plentiful amount of dislike from the other dragon. Besides that, he's also brash and arrogant - he never accepts help from anyone, and is too stubborn to listen to advice anyway - with a hot-blooded attitude, and he loses his temper easily, willing to kick someone over the smallest of mistakes. However, he does have a soft spot for those he loves, but never shows it, often seeming uncaring and committing hurtful deeds but underneath it all hiding a good motive, such as one time where he took his sister's alias (Rabbit) and pretended to be her so the trouble she kicked up would be directed away from her, to someone who could handle it better; more specifically, him. He also has a sense of concern, and an instinct to protect his friends, but usually all this is covered over by his tough, unpleasant exterior.

His actions tend to be the opposite of what he's feeling. For example, he can push away others, claiming that he wants peace, but really, all he wants is a friend to confide in. He can act arrogant and brash, but underneath he's incredibly insecure, with plenty of doubts and fear clogging his mind. This makes him a very difficult individual to understand or grow close to, but it is possible. Keep in mind that he houses many fears and doubts in his heart, and his biggest fear, as mentioned below, is having his secret revealed - so if you understand his secret, you have a chance.
Fears: His biggest fear would be his secret - that he's a 'ghoul' - being leaked out, causing everyone to avoid him and look at him with disgust. His second fear would be of squirmy stuff. Really. It scares the crap out of him.
Strengths:
Mental
- He's self-sacrificial, meaning he is willing to give up himself for whoever's close to him.
Physical
- Even when not in his ghoul form, he's hard to catch, as he can move pretty quickly, as he specialises in speed. He can fly at 95mph if pushed, but he can't hold this up for long, only for two posts maximum.

- He is nimble and agile, capable of easily switching directions or performing complicated aerial maneuvers to confuse the opponent in the air. He's an all-rounder, meaning he can be fast in both the air and on the ground.

- He makes a tough opponent as he has fast reflexes as well, and good accuracy.

- Heightened senses and strength; 30% stronger than the average dragon.

- Accelerated regeneration. Self explanatory, but here's how it works.

Small wounds and fractures all heal over in one post, two posts for the latter. Deeper wounds take three to six posts, depending, and having a limb torn off... It'd regenerate, but it'd take five posts to do so, and quite a bit of energy there, 40% to be exact. He does not worry about blood loss as he's a tough little fella, with his regeneration, but if he's bloodied up enough with several deep / serious cuts, he's dead. He may seem invincible, but he's not.
Weaknesses:
- His main weakness is his kagune. While he specialises in high-speed attacks and can zip around pretty quickly, he has poor endurance, meaning his stamina gets depleted quickly. Thus, if the battle drags on for a long time, he's at a disadvantage.

- His kagune is suited for both long- and short-ranged attacks, but short-ranged attacks are typically his weakness. The opponent can successfully guard against Izobuko's attacks, leaving him vulnerable to counterattacks and exhausting him in the long run.

- He cannot fight both long- and short- distanced fights at once. He will have to adjust his kagune, and it requires a few seconds, and while the seconds are short, it isn't instantaneous. And switching constantly will also tire him out.

- Izobuko tends to get distracted easily, by loud noises, etc. Self-explanatory.

- His offence and regeneration are great...but his defence isn't. He has a tough hide, yes, but they're more easily pierced as compared to scales, and things that bounce off scales will sink right in.

General Appearance
Height: 35 feet
Scales: He doesn't have scales, only a thick hard (but smooth) hide, matted black in colour.
Eyes: Teal, darkening to dark blue at the edges.
Appearance: If you zoom into the picture you'll see that he has a crest of some sort. It's made of hair and can be flattened against his skin or stood straight up. He also has a line of grey scales stretching across his body and the front of each of his legs, and these scales are slightly tougher than his skin. White underbelly, and white claws. At the end of his tail is a spear-like thingy, it's just as sharp as claws. That's all really.

In his ghoul form, his sclera is black, red-coloured veins running through them, and gathering at the edges like a spiderweb of scarlet. His iris is red. If he wishes to, he can use his kagune, causing his wings to ripple and change into something like fire. It has an orange centre, like fire, turning into red that darkens and changes into blue / purple at the end. It flickers, like fire.

Sometimes, when his kagune is out, a mask will form over his features, and it resembles a raven, thus earning him the nickname The Raven. This is to conceal his features so that he will not be recognised.

Mask:

Kagune:

Eyes:

Tribe Information and Status
Tribe: Rogue
Inheritance: He's a NightWing (5%) / SkyWing (80%) / EarthWing (20%) hybrid, meaning he has the dark scales of a NightWing, but wingspan and flight speed of a SkyWing.
Rank: Wanderer?
Family: dead, bruh
Mate: To be confirmed.
Hatchlings: ...not yet.

Skills and Abilities
Special Abilities: The only weapon he has, besides his claws, fangs and tail, is his kagune. He's an ukaku user. Ukakus are spread out like feathers and is released from the shoulder area, usually transforming the dragon's wings into something resembling a flame. It specializes in high speed attacks, the users usually seeming to have have highly enhanced speed, 30% faster than dragons both on ground and in the air. The kagune is lightweight and can be used to deliver high-speed attacks against an adversary, the primary method of attack is crystallizing their kagune to deliver a high speed torrent of spike-like projectiles, however whilst crystallized they are much stiffer and cannot be used for short range combat. They may use their kagune as a shield and several are capable of shaping them into sharp blades to aid in close quarters. Many ukaku-types are able to increase the flexibility of their kagune for short-range combat, though this makes it ill-suited for their distinctive long-range attacks. He cannot switch continuously, because like most things, it requires energy, and the switch isn't instantaneous.

He can keep up his torrent of projectiles for two posts max, before recharging for one post, and going again. However, he cannot do this repeatedly, and can only do this four times before stopping, as it tires him out. They can travel as far as 210 feet.

They cannot be dissolved or affected by magic, and travel at 100mph for long-ranged missles, while reaching a speed of 80mph for short-ranged combat.
Combat Style: Typically he lures them into the air, as it's his strongest area, and attacks with his kagune, before switching to short-range and engaging in hand-to-hand combat, battling with his claws and tail.

Speed of long raged missles are 100mph, while short ranged are 80-90mph. They are not affected by any magic, etc.

Background
History: Revealed through roleplay.
RP Sample: Please, you know how I roleplay. >_>

Hello and welcome to the forum!

I do have questions on your app.TI see your a Tokyo Ghoul fan and appreciate another Otaku on the site, however, how long can he stay in Ghoul mode?
Im aware if you can turn it off and on, but for there to be added strength and speed I think you'll need give him a limit.
Secondly, if your character can crystalize parts of their body via create crystals they need EarthWing heritage added. Id go for 40-60% of EW heritage and the rest be SkyWing and NightWing. Also, how fast is your character when Ghoul speed is added?
As far as Kagune projectiles and the sorts how fast do they travel? Is there a limit to how much of the stuff is created? I see this stuff as apart of your body, so there must be side affects anf such.

Thats it for now, lemme know when your done dude.

hooh, it seems i'm exposed lmao >< oh and, by the way, I'm not new. I was a member since last year.

Regarding what you said in your post,

I suppose he can remain in ghoul mode for around three posts max, because while being a ghoul is awesome and stuff, it's exhausting for him.

EW heritage added.

I'd say the projectiles can be continuously produced for a limited amount of time instead of listing out a particular amount, because like, is there going to be a way to count them ._. No, I don't think so. Yeah, so he can keep up his torrent of projectiles for two posts max, before recharging for one post, and going again. However, he cannot do this repeatedly, and can only do this four times before stopping, as it tires him out.

Do I really have to put in speed for his projectiles? I felt like it'd complicate matters, but let's just say that it's 30 - 40% slower than a bullet.

Yes, you should put how fast the projectiles go.

Said it was 30% slower than a bullet, so I'd say... 531mph, or somewhere there.

Needs to be fast, because that's like one of the only abilities he has. The projectiles, by the way, can't be dissolved, neither can they be affected by magic...but it can be deflected.

At that speed no one would be able to see them, let alone have time to try to deflect them. Since you use them in both short and long range combat, you should have two different speeds. For long range, you could have 100mph. For short range, 70, maybe 80.

If you could mention in the app that the projectiles can't be dissolved or affected by magic, that would be nice. And if you would like the projectile speeds to be higher than what I have suggested, I'd be more than happy to see about having them increased for you. It just that in terms of projectile speed we've gone in a more realistic direction.

Ah, I see. Current speed is fine, and yeah I'll add that in.

I forgot to mention a few things:

- Heightened senses and strength; 30% stronger than the average dragon.

- Accelerated regeneration. Self explanatory, but here's how it works.

Small wounds and fractures all heal over in one post, two posts for the latter. Deeper wounds take three to six posts, depending, and having a limb torn off... He does not worry about blood loss as he's a tough little fella, with his regeneration, but if he's bloodied up enough with several deep / serious cuts, he's dead. No one is invincible, especially not him, even if he seems so.

That okay?

I also added a new weakness to balance him out. Razz
