Personality: Olwen is packed full of contradictions so when it comes to independence, he possibly can or can not be independent. On one side, he has the perseverance and drives to do what needs to be done, he is self-sufficient and does not need to depend on other dragons for the material and physical things in life. On the other hand, he depends on dragons for emotional support and encouragement.

Olwen is not fully self-actualized he needs the constant support of others and will not be very independent. Olwen craves attention and comfort from other dragon and he is happiest when he is around his small, close-knit group of friends or family.

Olwen is extremely loyal to those who appreciate and support him, One of the greatest things about Olwen is his ability to make others feel good about themselves and loved. This is because instead of doing this for himself, he'll project this onto other dragons. This is a positive cycle because in making others feel nurtured, wanted and loved, Olwen in return feels good for making someone feel good.

Another dragon can lean on and depend on Olwen, he will listen to dragon's problems and help them however he will rarely express his own deep feelings to anyone. Dragons who want to share deep emotional thoughts and opinions with Olwen might feel that the scales are tipped on one side for he will rarely reveal his true deep feelings. A friend of Olwen is usually a lifelong devoted friend that can be trusted.

Once Olwen resolved his emotional issues such as shyness and insecurity, the powerful character will shine, though, there is practically nothing he can't do.  He has incredible perseverance and will stand up for what he believes in.

He's complex, fragile, unpredictable and temperamental and needs constant support and encouragement, more than any other dragon, Olwen needs to be needed. Even when all needs are satisfied, he can be irritable and cranky.

He has an uneasy, delicate temperament. The contradictory nature of Olwen gives his temperament the wild mood swings and possible temper tantrums. He is easily offended and will sulk and wallow in self-pity for a long time when he gets hurt.

It is difficult for Olwen to open up and have a close emotionally fulfilled relationship with someone because he's so closed off emotionally and physically to the world. This is driven by his fear of trust, Olwen has a difficult time trusting others. This causes built up anger and resentment inside, the contradictory nature really takes a toll on him and he can have a negative outlook on life, thinking that life is just too hard and miserable. This is unfortunate because when good experiences are to be had, he's skeptical of dragons and his surroundings and he experiences tunnel vision due to her depressed outlook and he will miss the nice things and happy experiences in life that make it worth living.

In addition to a lack of trust for dragons, Olwen is deeply sensitive and easily hurt, this is another reason why he has his defense shell in place, to avoid being hurt by others. Olwen lives in the past. He holds past events close to him and often dwell on the past. He has to learn to let go and live in the present instead of spending his time being sick with nostalgia.

Olwen has a lot of emotional issues to deal with but once he overcomes this large hump of shyness and insecurity, there is practically nothing he can't do. With his strong intuition, sensitivity, powers of observation and intelligence, he will have great success in anything he undertakes. Olwen is constantly feeling, feelings and emotions are hallmarks of him and this is the root of his problems.

Deep inside, Olwen is a very powerful, he has the ability to stand up for what he thinks is right and he has lots of perseverance and can be fine on his own provided he does let his emotions get the better of him and have the stability he needs. He is not fond of change but he has the ability to do what needs to be done, he is not a pushover or a lazy dragon.

Olwen is mysterious, filled with contradictions. He wants security and comfort yet seek new adventure. He is very helpful to others yet sometimes can be cranky and indifferent. Olwen has a driving, forceful personality that can be easily hidden beneath a calm, and cool exterior.

He is a nurturer so he surrounds himself with dragons, whom after a while can offend or hurt Olwen without even knowing they did so, therefore Olwen's protective shell keeps him safe from hurt. He's complex, fragile, unpredictable and temperamental and needs constant support and encouragement, more than any other dragon.

Olwen needs to be needed. When he gets the support he needs, he has a tremendous amount to offer in return. When he gets offended, he tends to sulk instead of confronting the dragon face to face. This needlessly prolongs the pain and suffering.

Olwen is very possessive, not just with material possessions but with dragons as well. Olwen will always want to stay in touch with old friends and anyone who has ever been close to him because it is easier to maintain a friendship then attempt to learn to trust a new dragon. This is easier this way for him emotionally. If you befriend Olwen, you will stay friends for a long time. Olwen also has a stutter when he speaks.

General Appearance
Height: 14 ft
Scales: Underbelly scales are a diamond-shape, that is whitish blueish colour.
Eyes: Olwen's right eye is a midnight blue colour, while his left is  a white colour.
Appearance: Starting off with Olwen's head: Olwen has two small spikes on his nose. He has fins on his cheeks and just above them are his ears. One his head or four (two on each side) reindeer-esk horns, which are white. Along with spikes that travel all the way down to his tail, the spikes also have dark gray feathers at the bottom. His wings are feathered and their colour is white with gray stripes and dots. His underbelly has diamond-shaped scales that are a whitish blueish colour. At the end of his tail is feathered. His skin is a grey-blue colour, with a white dots from his head to his tail. He also has a bit of tuff of fur on his chin. Olwen is also able to raise and lower his spikes, the ones that travel down from his head to his tail.  (Picture is up top because me no good at appearances 030)

Skills and Abilities
Strengths:
-Speed: 20 mph is the fastest he can go. Able to dodge attacks (most of the time) with his speed. Sadly, he can only go this fast for 5-10 mins at most.
-Intelligence: Olwen is a bookworm, able to tell you all about the Icewing leaders, especially Virgo. (He'll miss a few things but still) His intelligence is a strength because he's able to outsmart his siblings when they 'play fight'.
-Family: If you make Olwen cry or make fun of him and his family finds out, 0.0 you poor creature.
-Flying: He can't go very high but flight skills are impressive. He can do a couple of tricks while in the air. (loops, barrel rolls, etc.) The highest he can go 15-20ft.
Special Abilities:
-Blizzard breath: Olwen's blizzard breath is horrifying. When he's scared or starts to freak out, Olwen blizzard breath starts up. Now, his ice breath can't kill anybody let alone even do anything, too damaging. His breath is more of a defense mechanism. White fog (that's around 0°C) comes pouring out of his mouth, covering the land. Yeah, he can't cover the whole land per-say but he can cover his parents' feet with the fog. This fog is like a blizzard, hard to see-through. 
-Demi-god power is still undiscovered  
Weaknesses:
-Larger dragons: He's a baby, so he can get squished easily.
-Firewing/Fire in general: Ice + Fire = melty, dragon 030
-Flammable Feathers: Since his wings and tail are feathers they are highly flammable.
-Fight back!: Olwen will hardly stand up for himself. Unless it's something he truly believes in, but he will never fight physically back.

For a hatchling, being able to travel at top speed 80mph is incredibly fast, even for a demigod at this age. Is his demi-powers rooted in this super speed? If so, you might need to consider that this would become his top speed when he reaches maturity. Reduce the speed he can travel for now, but keep the 80mph for future reference when he's older if you want.
