Sapphire Lake ((Dinnozo and Arkhor))

Of course, one of Dinnozo's sayings is "Don't be bored-- your death may meet you any minute now, and that's certainly interesting!". But the SeaWing Vulcan is known to be a hypocrite. Because now she was bored... And she felt as if she'd reached every ocean floor, explored every reef and bay. Though it could be dangerous, Dinnozo had decided to flee temporarily to the Rogue Lands. What could go wrong? After all, she had been cautious for once; she marked the way back to the sea by breaking the branches of trees and making claw markings on bark and boulder.

This very moment, Dinnozo was floating on a vast lake, purple wings spread out gracefully. Her neck was curved in an elegant S-shape, cold, uninterested azure eyes flitting through the surroundings in examination, watching out for visitors that may be hostile. The lake's water was especially bright... Brilliant royal blue, like a shard of sapphire. The body of water was surrounded by trees, and above the lake was a huge canopy of leaves. Perhaps this was why Dinn was so aware for once, instead of being lazy.... Anything could be hiding, watching...

Smiling slightly as he tried to hide a saddened expression, "Yeah.. Din.. I miss everyone, not that I can't visit but... I don't really like being 'worshipped' but it gives them hope and help.. I try to help as best as I can." sighing slightly placing a paw ontop of the moose "Of course I miss family.. I miss your mother more than anything and of course your brothers and sisters." frowning slightly as he lowered his gaze saddened.

Dinnozo's heart softened for her father. She didn't know what to say... And she haven't had much experience in comforting dragons. But she wanted to try her best. So, she made a whimpering sound from deep in her throat, sidled up to Arkhor, and pressed her nose gently on his cheek in a daughterly form of comfort and affection for her father. We miss you too, Pops... We really do. All of us...

Smiling softly as he returned the nuzzle "Oh Din...I'm sorry.. you know I do love you all.." covering a wing over her side as he hugged her. Sighing as he felt sad for not really being there, "You know you can talk with me anytime... its certainly something I miss.."

Dangit, Dinn... Don't cry like a hatchling! That was the female's thoughts, since, indeed, tears were rising to her azure eyes, and Dinnozo had to blink a lot to prevent them from streaming down her purple cheeks. She released a shaky sigh, leaning into her father's hug. For a moment they were in a close, father-daughter embrace. Yea... I will definitely seek chances to talk to you again. She managed to smile feebly at the older SeaWing.

Smiling softly as he replied "I will certainly look forward to it, you deserve the best in this world" releasing the hug he gently nuzzled his paw on her snout like he used to when she was a hatchling.

Dinnozo grinned, her heart feeling warm and fuzzy at the sound of Arkhor's voice and presence. She giggled a bit at the nuzzle. "Just like old times." She gently butted her head on his paw, which was what she had done as a hatchling.

Chuckling from her reply, "Well since your quite far out from home how about I teleport us?" tilting his head slightly waiting for her response.

Dinnozo nodded. She scooped up her prey and placed it in her back. "Yeah, that'd be great." She smiled. "You're literally the best.'

Nodding as he placed a paw on her shoulder "Don't hold your breath" he smiled as he suddenly teleported them both outside of her den. Looking curiously towards her "You alright?"

Dinnozo breathed in the familiar scents of home, smiling. Then she looked at Arkhor, ears perked up in curiosity. "Yea, I'm fine... Why you ask?"

Raising his brow slightly as he smiled "Oh just in case since sometimes people feel ill after teleporting." smiling slightly as he gazed around the area luckily it was coming to dusk so there wasn't many dragons around. "I can stay a while if you want"

Dinnozo smiled and nodded in understanding. She had never teleported with her father before. Her blood rushed through her veins, but she didn't feel dizzy or nauseous. Instead she felt kind of.. fresh. Like she could take on anything! "Yeah, I'd like for you to stay for a while." She chuckled. "Just watch your step. I spill things on the floor sometimes in my work... Mostly jewels, but those buggers can hurt if you step on them!"

Nodding as he replied with a smile "Don't worry I can watch out for them" he chuckled entering her den as he gazed around. "So still doing Vulcan work? I remember when you used to be so excited about gemstones..."

Dinnozo smiled as she lead Arkhor into her den. The gemstones she saw, she swept out of the way under tables or benches with her tail. She chuckled gently at her father's statement. "I think gemstones is what got me excited about being a Vulcan in the first place. It's hard work, but I enjoy it."

Smiling softly as he entered "True.. Can't blame you as I find them enjoyable to look at, tell you what name a gemstone you want and I can create one for you" smirking as he sat against the floor waiting for her reply.
