Take No Prisoners! [Private to Artemise & Kyuurei]

Ambrosia hurriedly pushed her way into the forest carrying a mouthful of gold she had stolen from a merchant. What she did not expect was for all the other merchants to chase after her with pitchforks they were selling. She couldn't afford to spit the gold coins out because she wanted to keep them safe. Plus getting them dirty and then putting them back in her mouth was gross. She was in unkown territory far off from NightWing territory as she could feel the dark and depressing auras from miles away. The sun shined through the trees that covered her head and warmed her up a bit. All she wanted to do was rest her tired bones.

Artemise soared through the sky, the wintry air embracing her, and she loosed a sigh of contentment. A lovely day to fly. But her main purpose that day was not flying, but to travel to the land where rogues lived. So she did, and she rode the air currents, flying towards the borders of the IceWing territory, and finally crossing out of it. With a flap every now and then, her body was propelled further and further away from the IceWings, and closer and closer to the Rogue Lands. After a while, her wings started to ache, and she wondered whether she would have to stop and rest, when she finally caught sight of her destination. Forests everywhere. She frowned. She hated rainforests; was a forest any different? Maybe it was...

But even if a forest was similar to its relative, a rainforest, she couldn't just turn tail and return, right? If she did, then she had flown all the way here for nothing. Oh well.. She'd have to go down, then. Artemise angled her body downwards, and started to descend, all four paws stretched out. The grassy ground muffled her landing, and she looked around curiously. The forest was relatively dry, which was a relief to her. So she wouldn't have to face damp areas after all. Suddenly, her ears picked out a shouting noise. Curiousity fueling her, she followed the noise, and finally saw its source: villagers brandishing nasty-looking pitchforks and chasing after a dragoness who looked like a NightWing.

The Semi-Goddess frowned. What did the NightWing do to enrage the villagers so much? She got her answer when she caught a glint of gold in the female's maw, and she chuckled softly. Gold was the cause? Really? Such an uproar over gold? With a huff, she reared up on her back legs, and a roar bellowed from her open maw, followed by a sweep of her tail, scattering the villagers aside. She smirked when they stared at her, petrified. Attack me if you dare, her eyes said. If you do, I'll make sure you lot are wiped out. Completely.

Ambrosia felt a chilling lot of idiots presence and turned her attention quickly to the godly looking she-dragon that caught the villager's attention. She quickly made the inference that it must be a IceWing because of her appearance. The villagers knew they were no match for the icey queen but looked at each other in uncertainty. They all nodded and backed off.

Ambrosia seemed impressed but guessed she had already been spotted by the icy dragoness so there was no reason to attempt to flee or hide. Besides, she had probably saved Ambrosia's life, Might aswell thank her. She stepped out of the undergrowth with dirt and some leaves still clinging to her as they became caught under her iridescent scales.

She spat out the gold coins into her paws  to attempt to keep them clean as she spoke."Er...thanks for saving my hide back there..If I wasn't careful I would've been fashioned into a handbag." She sounded very awkward and wasn't the type for socializing with others. Her face portrayed emberassment and frustration.

Artemise smiled as Ambrosia spoke; she sounded flustered. Embarrassed. And a little frustrated too. She wondered why. It'd better not be because of her bloody size again... A lot of dragons were intimidated by the way she towered over them, and it was getting very annoying. But she still kept her face friendly, for there was no reason to get mad at the female. "Nah, it's fine," she replied cheerfully. "It was pretty fun to scare them anyway."

A crunch of boots on leaves. Her head whipped around, and her gaze landed on a tiny villager who was trying to sneak up on her. He was holding two pitchforks, and was obviously intending to attack her, to provoke her. A low snarl issued from her throat; the villager squeaked and backtracked, before fleeing. "Idiots," she muttered, annoyed.

She slid her gaze back to the NightWing and grinned at her. "So, what's your name?" she asked curiously, sitting back on her haunches. She studied the female's face. Squinting turquoise eyes..and brilliant iridescent scales.

Ambrosia then smirked slyly and put a paw to her shining black chest, Dropping some of the gold coins onto the ground. "They call me, Ambrosia the Clever." she seemed to take great pride in who she was despite no one ever hearing of her, Unless they got swindled by her of course. The sun reflected off her black/iridescent scales to give off a pretty looking glow.

She puffed her chest out dramatically and stood up taller to push the act even further. "You can call me Ambro though...Nobody really calls me Ambrosia the clever.." she murmured quietly, Losing a bit of her confidence. As she slouched her muscles rippled under her scales causing the colors that were reflecting off to change to a greenish yellow.

Wondering around on the ground after a rather short flight, the little Icewing Kyuurei trekked across the earthy ground with his ice-formed wings raised in the air. A snow petrel was resting on his forehead, it has the tendency to get hyper and fly around the blueberry muffin. (Kill me)

Stopping for a second to look around, he had spotted the two dragons hanging out not too far from where he is. Deciding that it was a good idea to check them out, Kyuurei quietly ran to the bushes for cover as he doesn't want to get spotted by these larger dragons as they may be hostile. He peeked out of the bushes to take a closer look to the two dragons, and it seems that the large one was almost completely white to his eyes and the smaller one was darker in shade compared to the ground. Realising that he was peeking out of the bush for too long, he hid back inside, causing a soft rustle. The white dragon looked familiar, but he couldn't figure out who she was...

There was a rustle, and Artemise saw Kyuurei's head sticking out. Of course, his head immediately vanished the moment she was going to speak. "Oi, Kyuurei," she said, by way of greeting, and sauntered over to the bush his head had appeared in. Then she poked the bushes with her tail. "Come out." Her prods became harder, and more insistent. She finally stuck a paw in, grabbed Kyuurei's snout, and hauled him out of the bush. "This is my friend Kyuurei," she told Ambrosia. "Oh, and by the way, I'm Artemise," she added. She waved her tail in front of Kyuurei's face, grinning. "Long time no see." He looked no different from the last time she'd seen him. Same magneta eyes, white irises that meant monochromacy, cyan body, frozen wings.. She stuck her tongue out at Kyuurei.

Poke poke, no! Kyuurei doesn't like to be poked! What is he? A toy? He crawled backwards to move out of the bush so he can flee from the dragons. Before he got the chance to turn and run away, he was grabbed by the snout and dragged to the other side of the bushes by the white Icewing who seemed to recognise him, she also introduced him and waved her tail in front of his face. The Icewing is Artemise right? She also stuck her tongue at him, that had left him with the unwillingness to introduce himself to the dragon he had never seen before.

Facing away from Artemise. Kyuurei felt greatly insulted by this Icewing, he thought she was a friend that he can trust. Now after he wanted to leave the two dragonesses alone, the black dragon asked them a question about the rogue lands. Kyuurei turned his head to face her, and spoke in a loud voice that cannot be determined if it's serious or not. "Rogue lands? Here on this island it's dragon hell baby. Those lands are called unclaimed lands, we better be lucky if we don't want to be invaded by our superiors!" Realising what he had said, Kyuurei closed his mouth with his paw and he quickly dashed off to another forest not too far from here. If they decided to follow him and give him some sort of lecture, he will be so done...

Ambrosia glanced at Artemise then at the fleeing IceWing dragon. Kyuu was  his name? Anyways she seemed prompted to follow, She wondered what was his problem. But above all else, No one called her 'baby'.

She didn't make an effort to go on a full chase after him so she just trotted, making the occasional tail flick to ward off any of the plants that got stuck in her iridescent scales. The minty scent on the wind didn't leave her senses and lead her to him but not without trial and error. She twice almost went on the wrong path even heading in circles at some point. But slowly and surely she'd make her way.
