Pyrrhus had disembarked from the Firewing territory. He had made a makeshift raft out of hemp rope and oak tree trunks. He's fastened a small triangular sail out of leftover cotton he found in his backpack. From their shores he set west, Navigating through and resupplying at many small islands in the Seawing territory.

The little reptilian was going to the Skywing territory, but what was to come he would never of expected. He jumped in the water, looking under the raft... It began to rot away... Getting on board he'd have to stop soon, or else his raft might fall apart.

Looking up in the distance he saw it, a storm. It all seemed normal at first, just a regular storm, what could go wrong? But he was sadly mistaken. As he went closer to it the wind began to howl. Then he was pelted with rain and hail as the waves began to get bigger. Soon he figured he was sailing in waves that were bigger than him...

But unknown to him he was in the western part of the ocean, where a rather unfortunate Seawing lay waiting under the waves...

Vrede was prowling the deep dark reaches of the sea that day. Around the western oceans there were large trenches that liked to stretch miles down into the abyss of crushing cold black water. A large jellyfish drifted past her eye, its long tentacles doing no damage to her sleek slimy hide as she slipped by it in the dysphotic zone of the ocean. A small amount of filtering light struggled through the depth to hit the top of her form as the lamprey-like dragon glided through the water pushing through it easily like a knife through butter. Her muscles rippled in the dim light while Vrede kept watch for deep sea predators like giant squid or megalodon. There were more than those two terrors lurking in the deep of the trenches. She had little to fear but the largest of squid and a few ancient sea going dinosaur species that stayed in the deepest areas. Which is why Vrede kept well to the outer edges of the aphotic zone where no light could reach.

Vrede was among the largest creatures dwelling the western oceans right now. Even among her own tribe mates, who often stood on flippers, bellies, or legs at 60 feet tall including their necks and small heads. Vrede was also 60 feet tall, however unlike her tribe mates she could not lift her head and neck more then 10 feet off of the ground when on land, and she had no legs, sturdy flippers, or strong chest and belly to lift her neck and head. She measured 60 feet tall from the bottom of her chin to the top of her head easily taking the largest seawing prize out of all of her tribe mates. Her length was not quite as impressive for a seawing though, as many were longer than she. At 247 feet in length the eel-like dragon with shark-like teeth and a rounded mouth opening was an imposing creature. Not at all pretty like some of her land oriented cousins or slippery tribe mates. Despite all of the good qualities that would make her an excellent guard the women was a loner. While she was a part of her tribe, and attended events; she always kept to the edge of a crowd or stayed in the water during gatherings on the beach. She tended to her underwater gardens, hunted in the depths, and played in the currents all by her lonesome.

She was both enjoying the rough seas today brought on by a strong storm approaching above the sea and hunting at the same time. Squid liked to come out when the storm surges riled them out of their depths. Plus she had a chance to go after large swarms of jellies as they got caught on the currents.

The light of the sun then disappeared, and the sound of harsh wind and pelting rain splattered across the waves of the ocean. Eaten by massive clouds the sun hid as Vrede ventured closer to the surface where the currents would be strongest from the waves being pushed by wind.

She surfaced then, a rare event for this strictly sea going dragon. She started spyhopping up and over the large waves to get a good view of all the seascape around her. Sails of a boat wobbling helplessly in the storms fury caught her attention immediately. It was about a quarter mile off, and so the women sunk into the waves again and swam below allowing her tail and body to make large waves of their own.

Not too far away form the shifting boat among the gigantic waves Vrede started fluking lifting the limp end of her trailing tail and body out of the water just a small amount as she dived deep below the little boat. She stay down there for a short while examining the strange thing. It was smooth, pointed on one end, and long much like any fast torpedo-shaped creature living in the ocean. Vrede had no idea at the moment that a reptilian was on board, and even if she did the dragon probably would not care for the tiny creature. She cared more about this bobbing piece of wood deep in western ocean waters that had a bright cloth above it. Then the women decided to "poke" the object and move it with her gigantic tail. She lifted the flappy limp end up out of the water, where it loomed over the front end of Pyrr's boat for a few moments before crashing down on the tiny wooden bow. Wood splintered everywhere as the front quarter of the boat was crushed and the rest of the boat was jerked backwards flipping just once right into a large wave by the force of her tail.

The little reptilian stood on the Gunwale as his skippered his boat. It would be a miracle if he made it out of this storm with no damage. The wind's shifts made his sail flutter violently in the storm. He was soaked in rain and the occasional pelt of hail made him growl. It must just be a small storm, due to there being no lightning or anything.

Suddenly a tale of a sea creature appeared over the bow of his ship, and as soon as it came up, it went down. All he could hear was the spitting of wood and before he knew it, he was sent flying into the air. He hit the water as he looked back to his ship, it was gone. Everything he had was gone... In a matter of seconds... His armor, His sword and shield, his supplies, gone. All his most prized things were now at the bottom of the sea for what? What did he do? He wasn't a human, he didn't hurt anybody, and yet he always got the short end of the stick.

He couldn't tell what this creature's intentions were, but he could assume it involved eating him because from all the stories he heard before, that's what most did to humans. This would be his first encounter with one, and probably his last encounter at this rate. It didn't matter to him though, all he cared about was now at the bottom of the sea, and he couldn't save any of it. So he did what he could do at the time, he swam away.

The waves threw him around, bobbing him up and down. He swam as hard as he could, exhausting him. He must of swam for a mile, with the assistance of the waves. The little reptilian was disoriented and tried, cold and wet. He looked ahead of him, he was practically at a beach before he knew it.

Shortly after a few steps onto the sandy beach, Pyrrhus collapsed from exhaustion. He laid unconscious on the beach as the rain pounded the ground.

Storms from below the surface of the ocean were always an interesting experience. Asailia had always liked to watch them, even if the currents could get dangerously strong at times. She'd always managed before, she could manage now. Despite the fact that she usually had so much fun during these times, this was practically the first day she'd been apart from Arkhor since they'd become mates. In a way, it was rather lonely.

Her thoughts were forced to pause as a shadow drifted by over her head. A simple glance up told her at first that it was a human, an a short growl bubbled from her snout, making little sound among the waves. What was a human doing in SeaWing waters? They had no right to be here, especially considering all that they caused was trouble.

It only took her a moment to come to the decision to follow it, at which point she snapped her petal spines closed and lowered her head, drifting lazily along after the thing, which was moving practically slower than a newborn hatchling could. Were all humans this slow?

It wasn't until they were nearing the shore that Asailia began to realize that something was off about this human. It's emotions weren't off from a human's, no. But for one, he was lasting a lot longer swimming than humans usually did. Even his crawl on the shore, though obviously exhausted, had more energy than a human would after swimming that far. It was disturbing, in a way, but spiked her curiosity.

She made her way to the shore, rising out of the water gently, the dripping of her scales masked by the fall of the rain. Now that she was closer, she realized with a jolt that this wasn't at all a human, but one of the smaller reptilians. She rarely saw them anymore, let alone one that wasn't even a sea-oriented one. Crawling over, she sniffed at the beast, then gently poked it with a claw. It seemed unconscious. Should she take it into a cave or something? Was it dead? She had no idea.

Pulling her feet under her, Asailia settled down to wait, figuring that at least, it it was okay, it would wake up soon enough.

Pyrrhus lay unconscious on the shore as the rain continued to pelt down on him. He was unaware of the new dragon that lay near him, for obvious reasons. But soon he woke up, slowly rising back to the real world.

He felt awful, weak and tired. As of the moment he laid on the ground with his eyes open panting on the ground. The rain had lightened much more from what his numb senses could feel. The little reptilian slowly rolled over and made it to his hands and knees, using every ounce of energy he had felt in his body.

The little reptilian then began to stand up. He made it slowly to his feet, still looking at the ground. Suddenly as he tried to take his first step he collapsed back to his knees clutching his stomach. He threw up as his body made him know, walking was a terrible idea right now.

Pyrrhus looked up, seeing where he was, a small island with a dragon. Wait... A dragon... An island... Him with no gear or protection and exhausted... Where was his boat anyway? How did he get here...? What had happened after all? He couldn't remember a thing.

All he knew was that he was stranded, defenseless, and with a dragon and he had no escape... Great....

Vrede had sunk the little bitty boat. However underneath the water she was still having fun with it. As large wooden bits of it would try to bob upwards towards the surface she slipped over them with a mass of slimy coils pushing the wood further down. The other half of the boat was also pushed downwards, but Vrede was unhappy with the little broken ship. She observes the ruined mass of wood then decides to bite down on the ship crushing it instantly in her grip.

The flaps around Asailia's face twitched in surprise when the reptilian moved, much sooner than she'd expected it to. Her head lifted from her paws, where she'd rested it while she'd been waiting. Confusion hit her like a wave as the creature immediately tried to stand up. Did he not feel hurt at all? All she could feel was confusion from him...

She'd concluded too soon. Almost as soon as the creature managed to get to his feet, it doubled over, letting loose the contents of it's stomach onto the beach. Asailia wrinkled her nose, pulling her head back a bit farther, turning it to the side a bit as if that would help to keep the smell at bay. His emotions spiked, rolling into a turmoil of confusion and and an ill-feeling she tended to associate with pain or sickness. Part of her wanted to go over and help somehow, but for now, she stayed where she was, sure that a being more than twice the size of him wouldn't make the little reptilian feel comfortable. So she watched him look around, take in his surroundings, realize she was here, and come to some sort of conclusion about his situation.

"Are you okay?" she asked, tipping her head to the side. Hopefully it'd sorted itself out enough mentally for her not to scare it much, even if it's emotions seemed like a quick downward spiral from her perspective.

Pyrrhus looked at the dragoness. A look of helplessness, horror, and fear could be seen on his face. He was cold, weak, distressed, and confused. He had to do something quickly, be it give up or try and run. Maybe this new dragon would have mercy and spare him, after all, he didn't know how he ended up here in the first place, all he knew was he was sailing.

The little reptilian weighed his options and decided to flee. He ran about 10 feet before he fell to his hands and knees from exhaustion and started panting. Scrambling to his feet he tried again but just managed to collapse. He didn't care to look where he was going, he just wanted to get away from that dragoness. But that was his biggest mistake, not looking where he was going...

He tried one more time, but just managed to fall onto his side. When he looked up and around, he saw he ended up right next to the dragoness. He panted on the ground as his lungs burned and gasped for air. He just couldn't do it, he just couldn't get away. He was stuck at this dragoness's mercy. She could do anything to him, and all he could do was literally nothing.

Pyrrhus whimpered slightly as he laid on the ground, still panting heavily. He looked up at the dragoness then back to the ground, a look of sadness across his face. He'd made it this far, and wouldn't want it to end now.

Shipwrecked and Stranded (Private, Vrede, Asailia, And approved others) Empty Re: Shipwrecked and Stranded (Private, Vrede, Asailia, And approved others)

Post by Vrede Sun Jun 19, 2016 3:38 pm

Vrede lazily swims through the oceans waters now. The sea churned ferociously still despite the storm abating somewhat. Still the rain fell at a good pace though. She was now annoyed by the bit of sail that was stuck in between her teeth. The large slimy dragon couldn't remove the sail with her tongue despite trying many times and she had naught but fins to try to move it around with. So the thing stuck there flapping outside of the left corner of her mouth as she swam around making sure that no other little boats were floating over her.

She was headed for a little spit of land poking out of the waves. that held some pretty swaying palms and tall rough sea grasses. The island held a bountiful number of wading birds that were trying to weather the wind and rain before migrating away or perhaps heading out to fish for their hatchlings near the beach. However a large shape that Vrede couldn't see right through the foaming waves caught the woman's attention. She spy hopped again, coming up out of the water like a whale would to view the sand bar and the island. She snorted a bit at the sight of another seawing while she sunk back below the waves.

Now ignoring those on the beach, Vrede went back to diving deeper so that she could try to shake the sail out of her mouth form around her teeth. Unfortunately this didn't work, and Vrede was forced to surface again as the sail caught on one of her spikes that poked through her cheek fins. Then she had the brilliant idea to jump as high as she could out of the water and crash down on the side of her head that had the sail stuck to it. Maybe the force would tear the sail off is what she was thinking.

So Vrede dove back down again near the back side of the island where the other seawing and Pyrrhus was closest. The sand bar dropped off into a deep area just one hundred feet from the island allowing Vrede to swim as she pleased without getting stuck in shallow waters.

In a great flurry of movement the long eel-like seawing with the mouth like a lamprey and the teeth of a shark thrust her body upwards and forwards through the surface. Her long body arced in the air while the sail in the corner of her mouth flapped wildly. Her jaws were open showing off all of those dangerous teeth since Vrede was hoping that the water may push the sail away. Then she came down in a huge splash that sent a rather large wave up the beach towards Pyrrhus and the other seawing.

When she checked for the sail underwater again Vrede growled deeply as the thing was still there. The jump and splash had gotten the thing off of her spikes on the side of her face by ripping the sail in half, but the other half was still lodged into her teeth. A small amount of the sails were now poking out from the side of her mouth instead of the long streaming bit that had been there before she breached.
