Name: Virsha
Alias: Virsha, "Little Miracle"

Gender: Female
Sexuality: Straight
Personality: Virsha seems to be a very nice character, though she can be a little shy, as well, though this is mostly due to nightmares and visions she has regularly. She is also a very sensitive dragon, and easily provoked, especially if she doesn't get enough sleep. While she tries to be the people pleaser kind of dragon, her temper can get a little off the rails, and will, more often than not, end with her getting punishment, despite not being able to control these outbursts. She is also quite skittish, and can be scared easily. Though, when she is around a lot of people, she tries to appear strong, and act nice, friendly, and enthusiastic towards other dragons, even if it sometimes comes off as overconfident and arrogant. While Virsha certainly isn't a protegee, she isn't any arrogant hot head, either. She likes to study, mostly because she loves magic, and loves spending time with dragons who know magic, asking them all kinds of questions. She isn't anything exceptional for her age, education wise, though she does seem to excel at magic.

Virsha is.... mixed, when it comes to fighting. She gets sick at the thought of killing another living creature, but yet she can get into some fights, depending on if the situation is right or not. Virsha, while dependent on her adopted mother for certain things, likes to spend time alone, with her thoughts to herself. Virsha can have a joking personality sometimes, but she tries not to take it too far, and tries not to insult people. Rather, it is her way of showing friendliness and harmlessness to the people she wants to befriend.

Virsha also experiences dark and troubling nightmares and visions. These nightmares can sometimes even leave her in sleep paralysis. She can also have flashes of disturbing things while she is awake, as well, which is why she likes spending time at the temples, or around holy people, since these are the only times she seems to be void of these disturbing visions. But, in a nutshell, Virsha is a kind, if a bit too enthusiastic when trying to impress people, and having a deep love for all things magic.

Interests:

  • Magic- Virsha absolutely adores magic of any kind, to the highest degree, though she excels most at Conjuration, Restoration, and Alteration. She likes to advance her education and learn, just so she can better grasp magic and how to use it, just like all the great dragons of the olden times.
  • Crafts and Enchanting- While not as enthusiastic about it as magic, she does like to craft small  things, though she's not sure if she would like to go into engineering when she's older. Rather, she just likes to build little trinkets, then infuse them with simple magic. She also becomes quite enthusiastic about enchanted items.
  • Birds/Flora- She likes these two animals for two different reasons. She likes birds, as well as certain species of plants, because she likes how majestic they appear, and how birds can fly and live in harmony with dragons without having to breath fire or use magic.
  • Exploring And Excavation- This includes being able to just have her alone time and go explore, Virsha is a generally very loner type of character. She just enjoys running through the forest, leaping over rocks, and sometimes, if she's lucky, finding old monuments, which she can run through and explore. Sometimes she'll even roleplay while she's out in the woods, acting like the queen of the dragons.(Wow, isn't that meta~)
  • Drawing- Even though her strongest loves come in the form of creation and nature, she does love a good sketch book here and there. Her art isn't as good as, say, an experienced painter, but it is still pretty good to sell for a couple dollars

Dislikes:

  • Large Crowds/Big Cities- Even though she can act confident and friendly around big crowds, doesn't mean she necessarily likes them. Every day after coming home from a large meeting, she is usually pretty depressed, and thus does things she likes to cheer her up. Big cities are no different in terms of likeliness. The only large city that enraptures her is the NightWing capital.
  • Enclosed Spaces- While not as intense as claustrophibia, Virsha still gets incredibly nervous when forced to dwell in enclosed spaces. She feels useless, and trapped in places like this, and these can cause intense anxiety.
  • Horror Stores/Horror or Gore in General- Virsha is not a fan of over excessive violence. Whenever horror stories are told at a campfire, she usually is the one with the most nerves over it, due to her ever recessive nightmares. Whenever these stories depict gore, or she is shown gore, she will usually try to escape by any means neccessary.
  • Fruit- She simply doesn't like the taste, or smell, of it, and won't go near any food that contains any kind of fruit, even if the rest is meat. She'll eat any other kind of food, though.
  • Water or Liquid- Due to her nightmares, Virsha will get quite nervous around things containing liquid. She also gets quite nervous around large pools of water, or the ocean, and thus won't eat anything salty or from the ocean.

Fears:

  • Hypnophobia is the often irrational and excessive fear of sleep.
  • Nyctophobia is the fear of the dark.
  • Thanatophobia is the fear of her visions and death.


General Appearance
Height: 43ft
Scales: They are a deep shade of jet black, with a grey, patterned underbelly. She also can sometimes have a strange aura, which changes color depending on situation. It can appear green, or purple, in times of intense fear, or during her nightmares/visions. She also has greenish bumps along both her sides, which converge at the start of her tail, and continue till the tip.
Eyes: Bright neon green.
Appearance: Virsha is also very slender, and can sometimes even appear malnourished. Her wings can sometimes glow green, as well.

Skills and Abilities
Strengths:

  • Magic- She has always been exceptionally gifted in the arts of learning magic. She is quite excelling in the arts of Conjuration and Restoration, which allows her to be 2x proficient in them.


  • Darkvision- This ability allows Virsha to see up to 120 feet as if it were day, in the darkness. However, this does not effect spells that create darkness or thick fog.


  • DarkScales- This is a mysterious and unknown ability she has, that makes her defensive abilities against melee attacks increase, due to a mysterious curse placed on her scales. They can protect her from melee attacks of smaller dragons, but will still scratch and bleed against larger dragon melee attacks, and elemental or other magical attacks.

Special Abilities:

  • Spells of the Devil- These are basically an array of magical spells that Virsha has gathered over the years. I will be listing spells in another character app, just so it looks nicer.

Weaknesses:

  • Fire- The young night dragon is 2x weak towards fire. This is not only because it paralyses her due to nightmares, but because the green dots on her body can become incredibly agitated due to the heat.


  • Green Nubs: These odd dots all over Virsha's sides are painfully obvious weaknesses. Hitting any of these orbs on her side will cause a shock of pain to be sent all throughout her body. While they are small, if a dragon were to slam her side, and thus, these tiny orbs, she could pass out from too much pain.


  • Light/Holy Element/Magic- Any attacks done by a LightWing/Dragon with light magic will deal 2x more damage to her.


  • Water- Due to nightmares she's had about drowning and things, Vishra will become very cautious around water. Because of these horrible nightmares, she has grown a weakness to it, for it deals 2x more damage than most other attacks, if pressurized right.


  • Young and Inexperienced- This is a pretty obvious one. Vishra is only 12. She has barely any combat experience, and most of her abilities are unknown to her, or she hasn't perfected them to the highest degree yet. Thus, she can easily be beaten down by experienced fighters.


  • Easily Frightened- If a dragon has any intimidating features, such as horns, large claws, or are simply larger than she is, she will not fare well in their fight. Her scales also cannot protect her against larger dragon attacks, and thus, her small body can easily be injured by brute force elemental attacks or melee attacks from larger dragons.


  • Drowsiness- High altitudes can make Vishra become nausiated, and she also can become sickly if dropped from the sky, and can get vertigo from rapid spinning movements. This is why she does not farewell in flight combat, and can be easily knocked out of the sky with swift attacks

Combat Style: Vishra will tend to use magic, the thing she most deeply relies on, however, unless in a fit of rage or during her visions, Vishra will chose not to fight, and would never dream to go looking for a fight.

Background
History: Vishra's history is sort of that of a mystery. She was found in the woods, abandoned by her mother and father, and taken in by a strange NightWing healer named Yuonga. Yuonga raised Virsha in her cozy little cave out in the woods. Vishra, quickly, showed signs of being a protegee in magic, so then she took her daughter to the capital, to show her to the emperor, Oculus, and how much he would benefit from having her.

Just a few things which you will need to add/modify.

During the time the site has been up, there has been absolutely no way to learn magic. Because of this fact, there is no one for her to teach her magic. And no teacher means no student or learning of this subject, this needs to be removed.

This part here needs to have exactly how fast she can run. The average NightWing speeds are 70mph. Seeming this dragon is only slightly faster than the average dragon, I will not accept anything over 80mph. Also state how long she can run at this speed.

Just want you to state how much more defense she gains. How many extra hits can they take before falling?

I can't accept this character. If I do, whatever your spells are I automatically approve as well. This means you can make them as OP as you want, and I will have approved it. That can't happen. If you want this ability, state ALL of your spells here, in this character app. I do not want a link to another app, but I want the information here.

In exchange, any kind of dark, twisted, evil magic, will also deal 2x damage against her, a bit lower than holy magic, though, because her weakness to dark magic comes entirely from her trauma

These three weaknesses are all too specific. If she is up against a dragon without these abilities, she only has 1 'weakness', which is her inexperience (which can easily be changed by claiming she has had a training session). This single weakness which can easily be voided is too strong. Make these weaknesses encompass a larger variety of dragons so that more than just a few dragons are able to hit her. For example, things which you could do are thin scales, weak physical defense, horrible fighting skills due to underdeveloped muscles (I'm not sure this would apply to your character, but it is a general idea) etc. Make these 3 weaknesses different and to encompass more variety.

As stated before, this can easily be voided by claiming that the dragon has had training, so therefore, isn't too much of a weakness. It is also extremely hard to follow up because you can make her become lucky several times in a fight, or have a moment of concentration when she planned her attack. But even considering the spells and her abilities, this wouldn't balance how much this dragon has going for them. So this needs to be changed.

I have added more weaknesses, and I don't see a reason why she can't be approved. Though, I will decrease her learning magic proficiency.

I would much prefer that I mention all of my spells in another topic, but if you want them here, that is fine as well.

Most of these weaknesses are quite valid. However, I will add two more weaknesses, just to make sure.

Please be aware that Vishra is still young, and I will update this app every time she ages. This doesn't need to be changed, as it is true. I will probably update this once she turns eighteen, which is when this weakness can be changed.

You also didn't decrease her learning of new magic. Please reduce it.

We do not have nor offer holy and dark magic. This, therefore, is not a weakness this dragon is able to have. Due to this, you have to change this. It can be reverted to Light or Night magic due to them being the thing which is close to relating to whatever the Dark/Holy magic is.

Also. The three magic abilities you have contain 0 common points. You have an EW, LW and FW magic ability. This will not be accepted by me due to the vast array of things which your magic is able to be related to. Change this so that they all share that they magic things which are able to come from her tribe. All magic is related to the dragons tribe which they come from and their inheritance.

Okeydokey I've been brought into this one. The spells that are listed are at a nice power level for a dragon of your age. However only the spells explained can be used. Unless you want to be more specific about a general thing your magic can do and it's limit in power.

Lets talk for a moment about your fascination with humans. Humans have committed countless atrocities against dragons including nearly extincting the EarthWings. Dragons in general are either very hateful, scared, or both of humans. So I'll need more of an explanation as to her fascination with humans perhaps an event in her history.

Breath of an angel. While we here at DRF aren't strict when it comes to keeping a logical flow of time I am going to be restrictive when it comes to this. Don't matter if you've lifted a rock and threw it at someone for your post if you've got 5 peeps rping you just healed a crap ton in a very short amount of time. It needs to be 3% every round of posting. Also don't call it HP we don't have health points, we just have healthy dragons.....usually.

We have dark magic but we don't have holy magic. If you're trying to take a good an evil approach here we definitely do not have that in a magic form.

Dark Scales needs to be expanded upon. Just how much defensive ability does it give you.

Ok, so everything looks ok, except you did not do all of what Cele has told you, so please revisit.

Also, both your spells in special abilities are not NW oriented, and cannot be approved. I suggest making the vine spell a tripping spell with a shadow vine, basically making it a shadow to make it a NW ability. The Blackfire is not NightWing, and no, calling it black doesn't cut it as a NW ability. It is a FW ability, especially as you are weak to fire. So I would exchange this for something else.
