Sun Bathing (Open!)

((hello! I'm new, so I'll start with the premise of my RP sample just for funsies))

A great rumble had erupted from Aether's chest, it vibrates into the rock and under his splayed claws. The weather was perfect today, the sun's light seemed to spread over him like a cozy hug.

He lay on a large smooth boulder overlooking a deep valley in a clearing, layden with shimmering greenery and bright flowers. Birds chatter travelled softly in the air around Aether, basking in the beautiful light that made the scales and ridges on his back positively radiant. He unfolds his wings and lays them out on the stone beneath him, allowing them to relax and absorb the sun's warm energy.

Peace, at last.

Flying over head Devi decided to take a calm flight around the palace, only to spot a new face below raising a brow he looked curiously only to dive towards the dragon. Stopping just before landing he spoke "Havn't seen you before have we met?"

Not expecting a gust of air and a sudden voice, Aether lets out a small yelp and flings himself into the air in surprise. He lands awkwardly on his feet and turns to gaze wide-eyed at his disturber, ready to tear them to shreds.

That is, until he recognized the dragon before him. Aether tenses.

"Ah!.. Sir.. Uhh--I uh-- I don't suppose we have...Sir."

Aether mentally kicks himself, and straightens to gain some composure.

"I--ahem- I'm fairly new, so to speak. I was born into this tribe but I've been mostly travelling... Until recently." He admits, trying to put cohesive thoughts together.

"I hadn't the thought to introduce myself, my apologies." He finishes with an inward sigh.

Chuckling he smiled and replied "Don't worry I'm not here to tell you off or anything" stretching his wings for a moment as he gazed towards the guardian. "So whats your name?"

Aether, feeling like a heavy weight had been lifted from his shoulders, relaxes and sits, returning to his usual confidence. "Aether at your services, sir." he says with a smirk, bowing his head slightly in greeting as his barbed tail whipped around to rest on his chest.

He quickly draws a sharp breath to edit himself, "--Although some know me as The Illusionist or... The Kaleidoscope." If you'd blink you'd miss how Aether sneers in distaste at the second name. It was originally supposed to be used as an insult to his colourful and "flamboyant" stature; or so they say, but he would turn that around.

Hyruu was flying around the Lightwing territory, enjoying the simple breeze and ascending currents on this warm day. It had been long since he hadn't simply enjoyed a flight that wasn't one of Aakesh's "trainings", and to be honest it felt good not to have the young dragon around for once. Enjoying a flight without ending up dead tired was something he should do more often.
As he gazed down, the Tracker saw Devi talking to a figure he couldn't recognize from above. Deciding to go and meet them, Hyruu dove, pulling the wings on his flanks as he began to free fall. Right before he would hit the ground, he opened his wings and stopped extremely fast, landing near the two dragons. That was clearly a move like Aakesh would do.
"Good afternoon, Devi. And good afternoon to you too. I spotted you a few times around, but I never got to meet you..." he greeted them.
While Hyruu was only a Tracker among the Tribe, he was also the son of the local Semi-god, and Aether might have heard about that. But like Seyn, Hyruu wasn't the kind to make a fuss about it.

Raak-tolIs was searching for the perfect place to create an ice sculpture. He wanted it to be a place where the sun was in full view and hit the Ice just right to make it shine. The Citizen had been looking all morning and finally found it... but the space seemed to be occupied, and by the King, no less. Raak flew down to land near the three LightWings, folding his wings against his sides as he walked over to them "It is a fair day, is it not? Is it that which brings you exemplaries of our species here, or have you some grander purpose? I, myself, am here for the day. Ah, my liege..." Raak spread his wings and lifted a paw to his chest as he lowered his head and bowed. ".. In all my time here we have never formally met, though I have created ice sculptures for many an occasion for you." he said to Devi before lifting his head.

Atrex was a very shy drake, but that didn't mean he wasn't interested in socialising. The young healer had happened to glance down and see a BUNCH of lightwings off to his left! Excitement filled the young drake, and he flared his golden wings and flew over the dragons, before coming to a clumsy landing nearby.

He looked up, shook himself, and walked over. "Hello!" He greeted them with a wave. All four wings waved at the same time,giving him a comical look. The funny thing was, Atrex didn't recognise the king, being a little absent minded.
