SHIPPING PARTY!!!

First topic message reminder :

This is the shipping party. Your dragon comes in seeing all of the frilly decorations put up and wonders what the place is for. A guest greeter stops you with a wave and a nice smile before explaining that this party was for couples shipping. She says that in the back of the room a big book lays open with a quill and ink beside it. There you are supposed to write a maximum of three couples that you ship together and their ship name. She explains also that in order to join the rest of the festivities, enjoy the food, or socialize and dance you need to write at least one couple to ship and their shipping name. Then she tries to usher you to the back of the room where the book is lying. She then waits there while you look at the book. What will you write down?

-The point is that you have to write your favorite shipped characters from this site. Then you can just party and vote up other people's ships.

*IC**Rii walks into the party aghast at all the health code violations then is escorted to the back by someone nice. She looks at the book and tries to think of something to write down.

"Draken X Nara , Narken<3" she writes quickly then rushes off to avoid the guest greeter. She heads towards the drinks noticing some adult beverages and decides to buy a drink and wait to see who else comes into the party.

Tempest looked down to the new FireWing, wondering who they were as they weren't familiar to her. That being said, there was no way she would reject the little one near her. She smiles, a wide toothy grin, and then speaks softly to Alley, "Hello, I do not believe I have seen you around. What is your name again, my little FireWing?" Tempest inquires politely.

// Chill, Athy! Me and Sparks have been talking OOC. They are going to have a wedding ceremony and party, at which I will invite all of Storm's and Sparks' friends. And I want to see your fanart LOL //

Storm noticed that they had left him and Sparks alone. On purpose? Did Storm even want a mate? To have a wife? He thought that it would be cool to have someone to share his adventures with all of the time. Plus, it kind of got lonely in the Sky Kingdom sometimes.

Storm looked at Sparks. She was slightly smaller than him, which most dragons weren't. It did kind of seem that they were meant for each other. Thoughts wrested in his mind for a few moments.

"S-Sparks?" he stammered finally, "I don't know how to say this, but you have been here for me all of the time recently, and you are funny, and happy, and cool." He felt like he was getting off track.

"But anyways, I wanted to ask you... Will yo- you marry me?" He felt like he failed on asking, but if she said no, he would have to just move on in life, and they could still be friends.

Hearing a female voice, Zaroc looked over and turned his head. "Hmm?" He said, turning towards the female who had spoken. "Oh, yes! Yes, it is," he chuckled. He smiled at her and bowed his head. "Nice to meet you, ma'am." He then heard another female voice and looked up to see the flaming female from earlier. Her heat practically burned his scales off, but in an effort to be polite he stayed, and tried to hide his vision blurring very slightly.

Tempest, knowing that she may or may not be effecting the ice dragon, forced her scales to cool right down. It was rather unintentional that she made the dragon uncomfortable, "My apologies, I was most likely making you uncomfortable because of my heat-I'm deeply sorry for that. Are you alright? And please, there's no need to be formal, just call me Tempest." She spoke rather regretfully, hating that she was a warm dragon at times, but also thankful that she could somewhat stop her scales from being warm. It required a bit of effort, but she would have to release the built up heat later.

When Tempest spoke to Alley and asked her name, Alley have started to think that no one remembers her ever since she had joined the firewings. She sighed in saddness and answered the big Firewing, "My name is Alley and I'm kinda surprised that you didn't remember me being in your tribe..."
Alley then looked at the icewing who seemed to getting sick as his scales are melting from Alley's flaming feathers. She bowed and said, "I'm making most dragons uncomfortable around here so I have to take my leave, its nice to meet you all." before she turned around and spread her wings, getting ready for a take off.

Rii was still sitting by her king simply listening to his wonderful voice and music. She viewed the crowd with unease, but interest sparked when she saw a pair of skywings nearby. Unlike the pair of icewings who had caused a fight earlier these two seemed much closer, and as she eavesdropped on their conversation Rii was shocked by the males question. He was asking her to marry him! Here of all places! She kept spying on their situation wondering what the female was going to say.

(I'm going to assume this is AFTER Nihlus's promotion.)

Nihlus let out a content huff as he nestled within the comfort of his quarters. Today had been an exceptionally rough for him. His new job was.. exhausting to say the least. As he was stretching his sore limbs, a loud knocking rudely jerked him from his relaxing state. Nihlus flinched in surprise, gritting his teeth. "Of all the times they could interrupt me.." He grumbled sourly, rising to his feet and sliding toward the door. He was surprised to find a royal messenger waiting behind the door when he opened it, clutching a scroll within it's talons. "Anonymous message, lieutenant Nihlus. I believe it's an invitation..." The messenger offered the scroll to Nihlus, holding it forward. Nihlus raised a brow and took it gratefully, dismissing the messenger with a curt nod. He pushed the door closed with his tail after the messenger had taken his leave and turned away, opening the scroll.

Nihlus blinked. A.. what party? Nihlus wasn't much of a party animal and didn't exactly like large crowds so as you can imagine, this 'shipping' party sounded rather unsavory to him. However, not showing up might be taken the wrong way. The last thing he wanted to do was affect his reputation. Like any newly appointed lieutenant, he wanted to make a good first impression. Without further hesitation, Nihlus informed his subjects of his absence and left the Firewing palace.

After a long flight, Nihlus arrived at his destination, touching down at the steps of the building. He walked through the doors and entered, only to be stopped in his tracks by another dragon. He frowned, a tad uncomfortable as the dragon greeted him with a cheerful grin, explaining the purpose of the party and what to do. Nihlus nodded quickly, hastily pushing past the greeter and toward the open book. From what he had gathered, it was like a guest book except for 'ships' rather than names. He picked the pen up in his talons and thought for a moment before scribbling down his ship.

Nihlus couldn't help but snicker at the ship name. He put the pen down in the fold of the open book and turned to the large mass of dragons. He studied the environment, taking the time to appreciate the decorations laid out by the host. Fancy.. He wondered how many dragons were invited... He picked his way through the crowd, eventually making his way to the other side. There were so many different dragons here, all from different tribes. He supposed it wasn't always hate and war between the tribes. On occasion it was good to commune with dragons from other tribes. It added some variation to life.

A familiar dragoness caught his eye. Tempest. His mood instantly lightened. Good. Someone to talk to. At least the party wouldn't be a total bust. He trotted over to her and respectively dipped his head. "Tempest.." He lifted his gaze to meet hers. "I'm surprised to see you here."

Tempest was taken aback, all of these FireWings were suddenly appearing. She wasn't expecting so many of them to turn up to a party like this. However, to aware of the dragons around her, Tempest took a few steps back away from the IceWing and gave him an apologetic look. She didn't want to make him even more unbearably hot. Tempest turned her gaze to her Lieutenant, and flashed a grin at him, "I had an invitation, so I decided to come. Besides, what is the worst that could happen, coming here for a little fun?" She asks-then frowns, "Why are you here as well Nihlus?" She inquired rather suddenly, a frown on her face.

Sparks froze in place when she heard what Storm asked her, her eyes widened. She didn't know whether to be happy or confused. She was thinking and just kept thinking on what to say until she couldn't keep it in, she exploded with happiness. "OH MY GOD, YES I WILL STORM, YES I WILL, I CANT BELIEVE THIS HAPPENING, OH MY GOD." Sparks shouted cause she was so happy, she started to cry tears of joy and her body was covered in electricity. She was so happy that she gave Storm a massive hug, forgetting about the electricity.

Storm stood in tense silence,wondering what she was thinking. Then, a whole surge of electricity went up he body and she said yes. He grinned in happiness, only to be electrocuted by her. He jumped in pain when she touched him."Ow! Stop please! I know you are happy, but please let go!" He squirmed. It felt weird, electricity dancing up and down inside his body.

Nihlus sat down, curling his tail around him and curving his neck in an elegant manner. That was right.. Now there was no one to watch the palace while they were away. He should have went to tell Tempest himself instead of telling his subjects. Ashamed, he turned his head away. "I was not aware you were absent, my apologies. I'm certain the royal advisor is taking care of things as we speak..." He assured her with high hopes. After all, the likelihood of something of great urgency happening on this day of all days was low. Nothing much needed to be done around the palace, making it a great day for a 'vacation'. Sudden yelling made Nihlus jerk slightly. He scanned the area and noticed a Skywing hugging another Skywing half to death. Nihlus raised a brow, unimpressed.

Sparks calmed down and jumped back "Oh sorry, I forgot." Sparks said feeling a little embarrassed for forgetting that, but she was just so happy, this must have been the best day of her life. The electricity went away as she said "Storm, I wasn't expecting this, but this has to be the best day of my entire life." She smiled at him, but was able to stay calm.

Rii began clapping for the couple as the female answered yes to the males question of "Will you marry me?" The whole situation was making her think of things she probably aught not to be thinking. Things like I wonder if that will ever happen for me? or Since my eggs were from that...incident with the two nightwing males... which of them are the father? and is it justified that since I had eggs with them that I would have to marry them even if I don't want to? Rii didn't actually like many of the males she had paired up with in the past, they had only been a means to an end. Dragons she only tolerated for long enough to get pleasure out of.

To think about joining up with any of them as a true mate kind of disgusted her. If anything it was the few males of the tribe who had helped her out since she joined that deserved even a hint of her trust, or the possibility of growing closer to Rii.

Her eyes flicked to Baldi once again admiring his singing voice. His scales weren't much to look at with their varying shades of dull green colors, but he was very muscular. She wondered for a moment if he had a mate. She never saw any females hovering around him for too long. The idea stuck in her head for a moment before Rii sighs and looks back to the happy scene. It was damn true that she needed help with Au and her nest that was for sure.

Tempest, aware of his worries, placed a paw on his shoulder, "Please, don't worry about it. I did warn the guards that I was leaving, and I gave them very specific instructions to follow if they came under attack. Besides, the it's rather unlikely that people will attack the FireWings on this day. Tempest said, seemingly reading his mind on the matter. She too heard the screaming and turned her head to the sound. She sighed, seeing the two dragons hugging, and it gave her a bitter reminder of her family, her mother and father. "They seem rather happy." Tempest commented-almost dryly.

Storm smiled. "I am so glad. You have no mean to be sorry, though." His heart was just slowing down from the surge. "I would hug you, but I don't want to get shocked again," he joked.

Sparks giggled a little after his last sentence. "yea I understand, so is there going to be a ceremony or something, I'm just so happy right now?" She asked him and was thinking if there was a ceremony then it would mostly be filled with Storm's friends, Sparks had barely any friends, but she looked down on her neck and saw the golden tooth necklace, that neltharion gave her before, Neltharion and Storm were basically her only friends.

Storm nodded. "Great idea! We could invite Athena, Atrex, Draken, well. I won't go through the list now," he said excitedly. "Would you like to leave the party now? That way we can go plan the ceremony and party," he explained.

Sparks nodded. "looks like a plan to me, we'll go to your place and I think I might move in too, if we are....hehe you know mates." Sparks chuckled a bit at the last words she said, she spread her wings and was ready to follow Storm.

Storm nodded. "I had that house when I moved into the Sky Kingdom, but I mostly just live in the palace now. I am sure Tion can make room for you, if you want," he explained. He spread his wings and prepared to fly.

Sparks was surprised when she heard that she could have room in the palace, she knew that since she was going to be the Lieutenant mate something special was going to happen to her, but not this special. "Oh that would be great, ill meet you at the sky kingdom." Sparks took off and left the party but was hoping to one day be part of another party and hopefully one that she could finish.

Storm took off after her. "Wait up!" he called after her. The air was nice and cool, and a soft breeze refreshed him as he soared in the direction of the kingdom.

Baldirak was in his own world, now. Only music existed and the voice he lent to accompany it. He had closed his eyes and continued humming. Then he felt the rumbling beneath his paws as Rii tapped her paw to his humming. Opening one eye for a moment, he looked at Rii then down at her paw. Her beat was just slightly off, yet perfect at the same time. With a small smile, Baldirak started to sing. Some other Dragons who were actually listening to the music turned their attention to the singing EarthWing.

Nihlus cracked a blunt smile that hardly looked genuine. After such a foolish decision, he couldn't possibly match Tempest's cheerful attitude. And right after you were promoted too. He snarled at himself within his mind. "Right.." He managed. Nihlus glanced around, eyeing the sea of dragons nervously. He did not do well in crowds. Not because he was intimated, but because the commotion often caused him to become jumpy and anxious. He grumbled, constantly turning his head to look to his sides, as if he was afraid an Earthwing was going to run out of nowhere and trample him. He flexed his talons, scraping them against the marble floor. Tempest's remark made Nihlus look up in surprise. He then turned his eyes to the floor. "Ah.. Yes.. I suppose so.." This lovey dovey crap was starting to get on his nerves. He wrinkled his snout is distaste at the couple. Although... He couldn't help but wonder what it would be like... His sour expression loosened.

Tempest noticed the change of his attitude, and hear the claws dig into the marble with a tiny screech. "I know this place may be getting to you, but you were invited here. You need to control yourself, and try to have a little fun." Tempest instructed, before getting a few... more adult drinks for herself and Nihlus. Her claws quietly clicked on the marble, her tail swinging to and fro behind her as she walked back to the Lieutenant. She offered him one of the drinks, a small smile on her face, "Please try to Nihlus... Please."

Zaroc smiled. "It is no trouble, Tempest. I have dealt with far worse," he chuckled, then nodded as a male firewing appeared out of.. Well, nowhere, really. He smiled and nodded at her apologic look to say he understood, before turning and leaving the two alone. He glanced around and then heard shouting. He turned his head to see Sparks shocking Storm from the hug she was giving him. He was guessing that Storm had asked "the big question." He chuckled, shook his head, and then walked over to the entrance. He glanced at the moon. It was a beautiful night. Zaroc smiled softly, before stretching his massive wings and flying off into the night, taking his leave on the night air.
