Assassin Training (Closed)

Since so many people wanna try out for assassin rank, I figure you can try, but be forewarned, its demanding and I won't hesitate to deny the rank.

Oculus sat, waiting for the hopefuls to come to the training pit.  He knew a lot of them would come just for the glamour of the name, and that more than half of them would be denied.  Those that didn't quit the first day and somehow survive the rest of the initial testing would move on, just so he could mentally and physically break them.  Once broken, he could rebuild them into the ferocious warriors of the NightWings, something that the other tribes would learn to fear if they decided to mess with them.  For now, he would wait, and see who would show up, his current assassins in hiding, with only a couple sitting in plain view to look down menacingly at the wannabe's.

Loque let out an annoyed sigh as Oculus harshly dismissed him. So that was it? He was just going to ditch him like this without even considering his idea? He would just ignore a possible asset that he could have? Well, so be it. It wasn't Loque's loss after all. He had already learned some things during this training.
More than the fact of being dismissed, it was mostly the way Oculus did it that was infuriating him. The Emperor suddenly got an arrogant look on his face and gestures, looking at him like he was nothing but trash. That was exactly the kind of things he highly disliked in the leader's behavior. Unnecessarily making people dislike him was never a bright idea. Well it didn't change much for Loque.
"So be it then. Should you change your mind, you know where to find me." he simply declared to Oculus.
He started to walk away until he arrived next to Sly. There, he stopped and have him a shrug.
"To answer your question - with a bit of delay, sorry - I do not particularly see the job of Assassin grander than the one I am doing now. They're both essential to this Empire. While Assassin take care of possible threats, we Magistrates ensure the proper inner functioning of the Empire. You protect and help it, we take care of the well being of its resources and citizen. I will see you later at the Refuge, Sly. It has been a pleasure meeting you." he said, bowing his head slightly to him.
And after this Loque took his leave from the pit, not even looking back.
