Time For Learning! (Open!)

Yalaruh is young and immature. She doesn't even know her own name, or have much or a distinguished personality. It's about time someone were to try to teach her. She is roughly one month old now. She is surely eager to learn more about how she should act in public.

She sat inside the nursery, her eyes closed, as she slept.

(K~ Tion should bring up that he needs someone to teach Yala ~)

The little one was excited as per usual but she continued to where the confused look every time Tion spoke. Of course. She was rather oblivious to what they were saying. Tion furrowed his eyeridges a bit, as he thought about her. She seemed to be at the ripe age to begin her education. He wanted to give her the best start as well, so he wanted to avoid any nurseries or hatchling caring facilities. This meant he had to take some time off his duties to be with her. Like starting a family. The thought of being a lone parent to her was a tight grip to his chest. But then he looked up to Anila when she posed him a question.

I found her on the outskirts of our territory as an egg, and just as she hatched. She was abandoned, and I took her under my wing. He leaned down and nuzzle the little hatchling. You seem to be close to her the moment you set eyes on her. Tion then stood straight and looked back at Anila with a proud chest. I wanted to make a request of you Anila. If you refuse, I will understand. This is the time where I wanted to raise Yalaruh and give her the education she needs to survive in Sky Fortress. Naturally she is now my responsibility but I cannot always be with her due to work. So, I am wondering if you are willing to help me raise her. Tion was about to add more but did not want to give the weong inpression to Anila. Stopping here should be enough to get his message across.

It was a rather big favour that would take up most of their time. He was somewhat hoping that she would accept...

Anila's mind raced, she was just about to be killed by the Kings guards, and now.. He wants HER help? After she had growled and snarled viciously at him? Was he insane? She was completely unprepared for this request, her normal look which she was managing to rake back together slowly shattered again. How on earth was the King able to catch her off guard so often. However, the dragoness didn't speak for a few moments, pondering what he had asked her. If she did this, she would have next to no time to tease the guards around the palace with her looks. However, that was all she ever seemed to do. Walk around, harass guards, do whatever she really wanted. A sigh escaped her maw as she continued to think. Maybe she would be known by others by more than just her teasing attitude.

Realising she had kept Tio-The King waiting, she quickly tried to answer him. "If that is what you wish, I could do that for you, gracious King." Anila tried to be polite, before smiling down at the little creature, "Her story is rather tragic, however I am glad that you took her and adopted the young one. Even so though, that setback shouldn't change what she will turn out like as a dragoness-especially when she becomes older. She doesn't know different, that others were lucky enough to be raised by their parents. What things does she know of at this current time?"
Anila whimpered slightly, realising she had let her tongue go and just ramble in front of the King. Again.

Yalaruh sits in between her father's paws, looking up at the stranger with slight interest. She appeared to have calmed down, but was still pretty confused. Her paws were now fiddling with her father's scales, chewing on his claws with a distant expression on her face. She couldn't really understand a word being said, but she wasn't really paying attention.

While the older dragons talked, Yala decided she was bored, and would wander away, finding her way to the other side of the room with shaky paws, and plopping onto the fluffy carpet with barely a sound. She then began to chew on the carpet, making slight, playful growling noises as she did so. She didn't appear all that concerned about the bigger dragons that we discussing stuff, since she mostly didn't understand them.

The question she posed caught him a bit off-guard. What did she know currently? Well, if he had to be honest, he did not really taught her anything since he found her. It was his first child and she was found amidst a very busy time period for himself. He knew he had to start teaching her the language and the ways of dragons, as well as education that would perhaps benefit her in the near future. The toys she gave her were puzzles themselves, made to make her think. Some of them, for example, were designed to dodge and move away from her, and it was up to her to decide how to pounce on it so she would be able to hunt for herself.

He winced a bit when Yalaruh decided to chew on his claw. It did not hurt, really, much like a puppy's bite. It was adorable that she was trying to chew on him, but he could not ignore Anila's question. At least she did accept to help him raise this little one. After a bit of a nervous stutter, he uttered a sigh as Yalaruh went elsewhere in the room. To be fair, I did not really teach her anything at this point. I relied on the toys I give her to give her the techniques she need to be a dragon. I suppose... I should get started. Tion said, looking down at the carpet below him as if he was embarrassed. Perhaps we should help her find her voice. Who knows? She may find her first word today.

He tried to keep his pride up and speak like his usual self, but the faltering in his voice was obvious...

The female SkyWing watched silently, a smile on her face as the little hatchling decided that nibbling on Tion's paw was a good idea. A small laugh followed almost straight away as Tion actually winced at the baby little creature nibbling on his paw. Soon though, she wandered away, back to the carpet. However, as the King began to speak, Anila raised an eyeridge slightly towards Tion. She, for a few moments, couldn't believe that the dragon just left her with toys to play with? He didn't talk to her at all? For a few moments, Anila was baffled at Tion. She had easily picked up on the wavering in his voice, clearly trying to hide something from her. Making her own decision, she made her way back over to the hatchling.

Playfully, she slightly mewed and purred to get the hatchlings attention. Pressing her nose into the ground, Anila carefully rolled onto her back from her standing position, spreading her wings out wide on the floor. She looked at the hatchling from her rather upside down view. The SkyWing didn't mind being so close to their small little teeth, not their sharp claws, but was more worried that Tion was judging her for her random and rather silly behaviour.

"You can't expect a baby little thing to talk if you yourself haven't been speaking with them!" Anila said, her tone extremely playful so that the hatchling might be game enough to tackle her nose and play with her. She raised her tail and went to use the tip of it to play with little Yalaruh as well, aiming to try to tickle the little creature to see if she could get a reaction."It's a basic rule of hatchlings~ You need to talk for them to learn what we say. Don't we little Yala!" She teased, then plopped her tail down next to the hatchling to see if she would also attack it. Anila glanced at Tion, a small and toothy grin on her face.

Anila looked ridiculous.

The young hatchling would continue to play innocently with the carpet, not really taking much of a notice to whatever the adults were talking about. Not that she understood them, anyway. Because she didn't know how to walk very well, either, she kind of just laid on the carpet, nibbling at it, until she found one of the many toys Tion had left out for her. She decided to start gnawing on it, even though it was suppose to be a puzzle game. From the looks of it, most of the toys in the room were either untouched, or had claw and teeth marks all over them. Of course, Yala was happy to just sit there and gnaw on the weirdly shaped cubic toy, that made rattling when she moved it, caused from the ball inside.

Then something quite a whole lot more interesting happened. The large dragon whom had come to save her from the loud noises, flopped onto her side, and wiggled her nose in front of Yala. This, of course, sparked much more interest than the toy ever could have. Letting out a happy little yip, Yala quickly forgot about the toy and rushed over to the big dragoness, lifting up her body to pounce, but just ending up flopping down on Anila's snout instead, digging her little claws into her. They didn't hurt much, though.

Then a big long thing showed up(Anila's tail), and Yala rolled off of Anila, racing to tackle it. She was able to grab it, but at the loss of her balance, as she soon flopped over onto one side. Holding the tail in between her paws, she'd bat at it, attempting to chew it. She had never seen anything like this before in her short life, which had only been about two weeks or something like that, but still. It was quite the excitement.

Would a lonely rogue happen to be allowed to join, or is this closed to just Nightwings and Skywings?

He stiffened at her words, then looked to the side in a confused manner. Looking after a child was quite difficult, especially since he had no experience with families. Now that he was off from work, he figured he should start talking to Yalaruh. What should he say? He could act cute like Anila did towards her, but it sound ridiculous and embarassing. Anila, on the other hand, seemed to enjoy it. He did request for her help and she accepted. It would be very inappropriate of his stature to leave all the duties to her.

Nervously, Tion approached Yalaruh and sat on the otherside of her to Anila. Hello little Yalaruh, he started in a somewhat high pitched and soft voice. Somewhat he was glad no guards were around to see this. While she was fiddling with Anila's tail, Tion carefully rubbed her soft belly. If he had to be honest, he did not know what he was really doing...

Anila slightly giggled as the baby hatchling suddenly flopped onto her face. Her heart jumped in her chest as she felt the little teeth nibble against her scales harmlessly. Anila felt her heart swell in her chest, smiling brightly as the teeth gnawed on her chin. Giggling, she was almost disappointed when Yalaruh left nibbling her face-straight away jumping to pounce on her tail and play with it. The feathery tail was bitten and chewed by the adorable little hatchling and Anila couldn't help but smile at the sight. Even if she was upside down, Yalaruh was completely adorable.

Anila laughed gently, a wide smile donning her face as she was completely absorbed in the tiny little creature near her. She even forgot about Tion for a few moments until the King spoke again. Carefully, Anila drew herself away from Tion and Yalaruh for a few moments and the father and daughter interacted for a few moments.

"That's good Tion, play with the little one. Remember, she's just a baby who has had nothing but boring toys to play with... she wants your attention and affection, she needs it Tion..." Anila said quietly, watching the two closely. "Always remember that she just wants to play, she has so much energy..." She then turned her attention back to the baby, "After all, she's the cutest little Yalaruh I've ever seen!" Anila cooed, before shifting her tail suddenly when Tion had finished tickling her.

It wasn't too long before Yala had completely forgotten about the other dragon, far too interested in the fluffy long thing that had been placed in front of her face. It waved, and tickled her forehead, and she let out a sputter, attempting to bite it. This beastie would not best her! She wrestled with the tail, making playfully aggressive hathcling noises. She managed to get a small feather loose, and started playing with that, trying to eat it, of all things, though, that wasn't very surprising.

Soon, another big dragon approached, and tickled her belly. She purred, and tried to nom his finger, her little wings flailing about while she grabbed her father's hand.

He continued to tickle her belly, slightly frowning as he kept asking himself if he had done this right. Anila praised him for the effort and taught him that Yalaruh needed attention than the toys laying about. It felt weird. Him, a king, becoming something akin to a student. He was drowned in a lot of work that he seemed to have lost touch with family connections, even if this hatchling was not really his. Still he kept trying.

The hatchling seemed to enjoy it and tried to chew on his talon. The look on her snout, as well as her reaction, drew a smile in Tion. Would you like to walk to mummy? He asked the hatchling, looking up to Anila. It was an idea he thought of to interact and to teach her how to walk properly. Tion carefully rolled her up onto her claws and facing towards Anila. She was standing around 7ft from Yalaruh. He made sure to follow her closely, a claw to either side of her so if she falls, she would land safely on his foreleg.

Anila could see that Tion seemed rather unsure of what he was doing, it was quite obvious. Still, she didn't want to scare Tion away with what he was doing. To her, it was clear that the overload of work had taken over any and all bonding time Tion may have been able to spend with Yalaruh. With time, Anila knew that that would be able to change. The trick was getting Tion away from his work. But being a leader... That task would be next to impossible which is why he asked her to do this...

For a few moments while Tion was playing with her, Anila felt a worry build in her. How on earth was she going to make it to Yalaruh from her home which was miles away... As well as keep on top of her normal duties, she only had an hour spare. But that time was taken up already, it allowed her to the massive amounts of time she needed to eat...

However, before she could voice her concerns, Tion was already talking one again, seeing if Yalaruh would be able to walk over to her. Anila, who was still upside-down, rolled back over so she was on her belly, and she opened her paws to Yalaruh. She made sure that those evil claws weren't pointing towards her, but were facing the ground. This was so if Yalaruh fell forward, Anila could catch her without her being pricked by her little claws. "Come on little one, it's not too far." Anila encouraged her gently, giving Tion a smile so that he knew he was doing the right thing. Hopefully.

Nibbling quietly on Tion's thumb, Yala had rolled onto her back, laying there awkwardly due to the way her wings were positioned. She resembled that of a wyvern, with the exception of her paws still being clearly developed, unlike most wyverns, that just had claw stubs at the ends of their wings. She would make little growling noises at Tion, playfully batting at his face with her paw. Of course, her wings made moving difficult, and she just ended up flopping over onto her face, causing her to let out a little squeak. Though she wouldn't be kept down for long.

Rolling around on the fluffy ground, Yalaruh would yip at Tion, and she'd charge at him, attempting to jump up and grab his ear. She only partially succeeded, though, as once she grabbed it, she'd soon roll off of him as he stood up. She would lay on the fluffy ground for a while, trying to regain her balance. The next thing she knew, the big dragon was standing above her, like a big tall monster or something. But the great Yala would not be defeated! She tried to jump up, charging at Tion's foot, biting it.

When Tion tried to urge her forward, Yala would just roll onto her back, trying to paw at his chest. Then, before she had time to run away, Yala was scooped up by Tion, and placed up right. The big dragon said some incomprehensible gibberish, and nudged Yala towards the nice fluffy dragoness. At first, Yala would just kind of sit there, being pushed by her bottom, not moving. Then, as if suddenly recharged, she would let out a squeak, and run floppily over to Anila, tripping a bit, but having Tion to help her.

Once she reached Anila, she'd jump on her face, licking her snout happily.

He continued to persist with nudges and words of encouragement like "you can do it little one". It was rather cute how she sat there at first, like she was confused as to what was happening. Quite an innocent little hatchling. He looked up to Anila, who seemed to accept that what he was doing is right. She encouraged Yalaruh to come towards her as well.

Tion felt like he was the child here. It was not too late to learn. After what seened like a while, Yalaruh got up and staggered, running towards Anila. The sudden boost of energy caught Tion off guard and he hurried after her, keeping his forelegs beside her in case she fell. She made it to Anila without much of a problem. Tion smiled at the hatchling and, in an excited tone, spoke. Yaaaaaay! Well done little Yalaruh! Then he froze, realising he had broken from his rigid demeanour of pride. After a few blinks, and as his heart raced, Tion stood upright and cleared his throat. Well done my child. He patted Yalaruh's back and nuzzled against her side.

Anila couldn't help laughing a little as she watched the little dragon refuse to budge, sitting there stubbornly. Eventually, after Tion nudged her a little, Yalaruh suddenly sprung into action! Anila held in her laugh at Tion's hurried movements, Anila taking a more relaxed approach as she lowered her head further to the ground. A few floppy steps later, the baby SkyWing latched onto her nose, licking her repeatedly.

Giggling at the baby SkyWing, Anila felt herself relax as she nuzzled the little thing, her tongue licking her underbelly to try and tickle her as well. Her fluffy tail then dragged around, then was extremely surprised. Did she just register Tion, the unemotional Lord of the SkyWings... Speak in a high-pitched tone? Her eyes flickered for a moment to Tion, a spark of happiness in her eyes. Then it was ruined as Tion cleared his throat indignantly and patted Yalaruh's back. Anila partially glared at Tion for that, a small sigh escaping her. He really needed to let go of his pride around Yalaruh... It would distance himself from her. Seeing a chance to try and redeem Tion's silliness, Anila gave Tion a wolfish grin and she quickly went to grab his paw with her tail. She would then wrap the fluffy feathers around his paw.

With her nose, she moved so that Yalaruh might be able to see Tion's shiny claws in among the feathery tail, trying to hide from Yalaruh!

Yalaruh, snuggling with Anila, would paw at the stranger's face, making little growling noises, her playful side going full dragon on Anila. Her ears would perk playfully, and she would make little yipping noises as the two big dragons approached her. She even attempted to nom Tion's fingers when he patted her on the back, her wings causing her to awkwardly land on her side.

When Anila put her fluffy tail by Tion's paws, Yalaruh attacked them, making loud squeaking noises as she did so.
