Tribe Customs Contest : Nightwings

So let's get this contest start !

I'll give this a shot. This is mixed off of a few things.

Every year on the shortest day, the NightWings hold a contest. This is a contest of the night, and a great place for trainees and adults alike to get a better position in the tribe. Everyone gets prepared before the sun goes down, an epic battle between red and blue, offense and defense. Depending on what your training for or your rank you are decided a side. Using your paint, if you're marked, your out.  This is a great way to safely test the skills of the trainees, and to test the adults skills.

While this is for the warriors of the tribe the hunters have a competition of their own. Starting at the same time they have the ability to hunt in teams or alone. Prey is marked by size and quantity, and if you or your team does well they get rewarded. This is also used to test out the trainees, and if you are hunting in a group with a trainee it is highly encouraged to let them hunt. Any prey that you let the trainee get would be doubled.

After the night is over and the dragons have won, they all come and relax the next day. They have a great feast with all the meat the hunters have gained the night before. At the feast they can eat, drink, and chat with others, boasting about how they did or just catching up on conversations. After everyone is settled and got a bit of food the winners of each side are announced. This is the time when any trainee gets promoted, or when a regular guard gets promoted to a guard of a higher rank. This can also be when some dragon gets demoted, but that only usually happens when he fails at his rank.

After those days they enjoy the rest of the nights. Any leftover food from the feast will be stored. The new guards will be trained harder for better ranks, or for the competition next year. The new hunters will also train more, but in new techniques they might have learn in the games.

Looking over at the hunters I'm still slightly unsure of what they'd get awarded with, maybe the title 'Pro Hunter' or 'Elite Hunter' could work. But thanks for reading!
