Personality: Atrex is a fun loving and bold young drake with a taste for adventure. He is humorous and good natured, and is eager to learn new things. He is curious and very much interested in exploring. However, despite his warm and welcoming exterior, he has flaws. He is too curious for his own good, and a bit too blunt, despite his delicate way with words.
Interests: Atrex loves exploring and climbing trees. His favourite pastime is, oddly enough, singing. He likes to listen to and sing celtic songs.
Dislikes: He dislikes bloodshed and being called names. He dislikes having nothing to do. He also hates eating hares. He can't stand them for some strange reason.
Fears: Atrex hates pain. And seeing others in it. And he is terrified of spiders. He LOATHES them. He also dislikes wasps, since they can sting him and hurt him.

General Appearance
Height: Fifty feet in height, eighty two feet in length from head to tail,
Scales: Atrex's scales are a solid gold, shiny and radiant. They also, if you looked closelt, have small, TINY TINY dots of red thrown in there, so in the evening sun he looks a LITTLE more orange. They are shaped like shark scales to give him more speed. They are small and cover his entire body like a scaly blanket.
Eyes: Aetrix has expressive, bright golden eyes.
Appearance: ) Aetrix has a well defined, reptilian head with a snout that is flat and thin with slight browner horns then the rest of his body. He has a long, arched neck and muscular legs that are average for a dragon. He wears a necklace with a funny little cross on it. He found it while staying in a fellow dragon's den. It was plain and gold, shiny and gleaming, like him, so Atrex decided to keep it. He doesn't know WHAT it is or what it's for, but he likes to wear it. His most defining features are his four feathery wings. He has your two normal wings, but behind them are smaller wings that generally copy his bigger wings. He can use them as he wishes, having been born with them. Being half lightwing his scales DO change colour, but not as 'visibly' as pure Lightwings. You may see a tinge to his scales, but its only if his emotions are strong that they appear more visible.

Family: Atrex has a large family, but he left them in search of adventure. They include his father, his mother, his fourteen siblings, his five aunts and three uncles from his dad's side, his two uncles and three aunts from his mother's side, and his beloved grandmother.
Mate: Atrex is single, but looking for a female. He has a huge crush on Cariharn.
Hatchlings: Atrex is saving himself for 'the right one' but he is willing to take a hatchling under his wing.

Skills and Abilities
Strengths: Atrex has a way with words and is able to calm even the most upset of dragons. He is also a great healer, not being able to fight well has left him with plenty of room to practise healing.
Special Abilities: Atrex has the power to send a blast of golden mist at a dragon which heals minor cuts and bruises on contact and gives them a strength boost in battle and stamina. He also, like his lightwing mother, has the ability to sort of 'hypnotise' in a way that makes a dragon feel calm and relaxed. He cannot use it to control other dragons (he does not want to harness his power and make his control stronger for fear he'd be corrupted and use it for evil) but he has a little influence with a dragon's emotions.
Weaknesses: Atrex can use the abilities of His lightwing genes pretty well, but he has no resistance to light or fire. They are also weakened versions of the powers.
He is also not very physically strong, being built for speed. He is also easily emotionally toyed with. He has a soft spot for family, so if anybody talks about them or agonises him by threatening him, he breaks very easily.
He's also irriational and paranoid.
Combat Style: Atrex is not a fighter, but he is light on his claws. He tends to dodge around a dragon, tire them out, and try to verbally solve the issue. If that doesn't work he tends to run. The only exception would be if his friends were in danger, then he'd protect them with his life.  
His lightwing abilities are the standard 'ray' that comes from his mouth. He can also blind his opponents briefly by looking them in the eye and turning his eyes to light.

Background
History: Atrex comes from far away, which is why he looks sort of strange. His parents moved to the south because they felt the tribes threatened their children. Their family came with them, and in a simple cave as the sun rose, Atrex hatched. He lived quite happily with his noisy, but loving family, but that wasn't to happen for much longer. As he got older and started developing into an adult, Atrex wanted something more. Adventure. Fun. A mate, maybe. He wouldn't find a suitable female here. So, he stretched his wings and took off one day without looking back. He would probably never see his family again, but he knew they still loved him, and he would remember them.
It was the best choice he'd ever made. He flew back to where his parents had come from, and now he lives in a secluded cave in a forest.
RP Sample:

Atrex tossed his head and growled. "Darn it!" He sighed as the potion failed again. For the sixteenth time that morning. He sighed and leaned back, sitting down on his haunches and leaning against the cave wall. His neck and back ached from straining them all day. And Atrex throughly disliked feeling pain. He stood up, flexed his wings, and walked out, the orange tinge on his scales barely visible.
He glanced around and rubbed his snout with a front claw, before shaking himself and walked forward a step or two.

Replier: A little hatchling was sleeping in the leaves, but that was not to last. She opened her eyes and the hunger came to her. She whimpered for her mother that would never come. And then she started howling for food and warmth as the few hours old hatchling struggled in the bush.

Aetrix: Atrex jumped as a loud wail stung his hearing, purplish orange flushing his scales. He looked over at a bush where the sound was coming from. "What in Astal's name?" He muttered, slowly approaching, wings tucked in higher due to his surprise. He reached out with a claw and peeled back the leaves. He gasped when he seen a small female hatchling. "Oh my.." He murmured.

Replier: A warm voice caused her to whimper and try to move closer to the warmth coming off the dragon. Was it her mother? She couldn't see yet, so she thought it was her mother who was speaking to her.

Aetrix: Aetrix suddenly went crimson. He smiled tenderly and gently plucked the tiny creature off the cold ground. He turned and walked into his cave, his scales now a gold tinge. He giggled as he put the hatchling on his bed. "There, there, little one," he said softly, lying beside her and trying to warm her. She was like an icewing she was so cold. "Wheres your mother?" He asked softly, as if she would know the answer. He looked out at the cave and knew that this hatchling must have been abandoned.. Or orphaned.

Seems nice to me but a few points could be developed. Also, like I mentioned would be nice if you could remove the parts in parenthesis that were meant to be removed ^^
For the Tribe you'll have to make your choice. Having both a Lightwing and a Firewing lineage is fine, but you can only live in one of the two tribes - or none, if you prefer being a rogue. If you chose to be in a tribe you'll also have to chose a job (by the looks of your abilities, I'd guess you'll be a healer).
You mention abilities inherited from your Firewing lineage, but you never mentioned what are those abilities. Also, what about your breath ? Will it be the concentrated beam of light from the Lightwings or the fire breath of the Firewings ?

Erm, you haven't solved some of the problems I pointed out.
- Tribe : you have to chose the Tribe in which you will live
- Job : Loner isn't a job, you know. Either you chose not to have a job and be a simple Citizen, or you devote yourself to a job like Healer (which was only an example by the way, don't feel yourself forced to take that job ^^)
- Abilities : One of the problems with hybrids is that you can't keep both breaths. So you'll have to drop either the light beam breath or the fire breath. Catching yourself on fire is some weird ability, remember that Firewings may tolerate high levels of heat it doesn't make them immune to fire, so this would also hurt you. What do you mean by "fiery blades" ?
You'll also have to explain what this golden light was supposed to be, unless it was only for the show ^^

I didn't notice that but your weakness isn't really one. Dragons aren't really resistant to abilities of their own type, so you need to figure out something. Rest is nice though.
