Acer landed on the beach of one of the many small islands. He wore full black chitin armor, one of his old sets he never used, but considering the obliteration of his typical painted titanium armor, he wore it now. He had a titanium prosthetic tail as a scar from his previous battle, and long claw augments. He looked around the shore. The waves lapped up against the sand and there was no cloud in the sky, making it hot and humid. Acer appreciated the heat, even if it wasn't dry, as was ideal. There were so many islands, it was hard to tell where his enemy might be, but he slunk into the trees and the shade and darkness, so that his opponent, a lightwing, wouldn't be able to detect him as easily. He looked up from beneath the canopy, watching for the lightwing, hoping his black armor would help hide him among the shadows.

As Devi looked around the many little islands he failed to see anyone, sighing maybe he was the first here. Deciding to land on one of the islands close to the water he began to splash some water towards he face cooling him down as he wasn't used to the heat. Unknown to him on another island his foe lay in waiting as Devi was in clear view. As Devi prepared himself for the upcoming battle, still feeling a little bruised from his previous but had all his energy returned.
