Unofficial Training [Neru]

(For quick, easy access posts, by yours truly. One liners accepted, for I am training le Neru.)

Now, Neru had officially become a trainee, and it was Nightflare's job to train her little demon apprentice, teach her about what's socially appropriate, and what time is right to go crazy, ripping things up, etc. She had brought Neru to a river, where the newly-made trainee, would be told to sit. The queen of insanity would then slither into the shadows, bringing out a live deer. It struggled in Night's grasp, but because of its small size, couldn't even hope to escape.

She chuckled to herself, quickly digging a deep hole, and placing the deer in it. Then she turned back to Neru. "Are you ready to start your training, my dear?" she asked in her ever so deep, beautiful voice.

The small dragoness picked her head up at Nightflare's arrival, her pupils thinning only a moment before returning to their usual, half open state. They wouldn't ever be fully wide again, not unless she focused rather intently on seeming innocent and sweet. Bigger pupils seemed to do that to a dragon, she'd discovered. Her gaze locked on the deer, and she looked at it curiously, her head tipping to the side. "Aye, aye," she said, looking back and Nightflare, and flicking her tail, amused. "Do I get to rip apart the deer!? Are we going poison it? Or just rip it apart? Or both?!" She jumped to her feet, her wingclaws digging into the ground excitedly, her two paws dancing on the ground excitedly.

Nightflare simply nodded her head, and picked up the deer, placing it gently near the ground, only a foot away. She then looked back over at Neru, and said in her usual, sweet voice, "Yes, dearest. I want to see how well you can chase after this deer. I want to watch your technique," she then let the deer go, watching it run off in a frantic mess.

Neru's eyes followed the deer as it was moved. When her tutor spoke, she turned her gaze back to her, the trainer's dainty head tipping to the side. She nodded, and as soon as the deer was off, so was she, pushing off of the ground with powerful back legs and snapping open her wings, shooting after the deer. It didn't last long. Deer were fast, but a dragon with the skill of flight was much faster. She flew close to the deer, dipping down to its legs and shooting a small fireball at its limb. The ball hit, and a small explosion obscured, knocking the deer of of its feet, mildly injuring it, but not killing it. Neru immediately lifted off again, grabbing hold of the deer in her claws, flying back towards NightFlare.
