Fire and Ice (Open to all)

Though it wasn't exactly easy to do, given his appearance, Tulvir sought to keep his IceWing heritage hidden from his fellow FireWings. For now, anyway, until he knew how many would accept it. As far as he knew, Tulvir was the only FireWing/IceWing in existence... at least, the only one that lived in the FireWing Tribe. And considering the two Tribes' history, a hybrid wouldn't exactly be welcome; so he assumed. In his Hatchling days, Tulvir had been terrorized by others from both Tribes and for awhile, his father--Tulvir I--thought his son might be banished. But now, the Dragon was more confident and proud of his lineage. He'd even found an IceWing and fellow FireWing who were completely fine with it. He only hoped he would discover more. Tulvir had, to keep his secret a little longer, made a training area of his own just outside FireWing Terriory where he could practice using his ice breath. He was there now doing just that.

A rock fell to the ground, at least, that's what it intended to do. Instead, just a few feet from being back where it belonged, the rock was suddenly struck by something very cold. Well, if the rock could have spoken or thought or some such thing as that, it would have expressed how cold it suddenly felt. A blast of ice changed the rock's trajectory. keeping it in the air far longer than it wanted to be. The Dragon that was responsible for this smiled. Slowly but surely, Tulvir was getting better at forming his ice breath to allow for better aim. One would think this should have come naturally to the half-breed, but he'd found it a little difficult. It didn't take Tulvir long to discover that fire and ice were two different things in terms of breath. Both could be devastating but one required a bit of refinement, a little finesse. And things would be much easier if he could have visited his mother in the IceWing Tribe; she could have taught him how to use his ice breath.

But the best Dragons learned how to do things on their own and never took the easy way out. That's what his father had told him, implying that he thought IceWings were a perfect example of this. Of course, Tulvir I had loved his IceWing mate and made a point of excluding her from his insults to her Tribe. While completely focused on his training and thoughts, Tulvir failed to notice a Dragon approaching him.

Laceris smiled when Tulvir allowed her to sit, and smiled even more when he complimented her intelligence, [b]"Thanks! One day, I want to be as smart as some of the smartest scholars, maybe even be head scholar!"[b] said Laci, purring happily as she thought about it. When she heard, the dragons talking about wine, she blinked. She had heard dragons talk about wine before. And usually what proceeded was unintelligent ramblings. She glanced at Cordath and Lynx, and asked, "Are you guys going to be like the rambling dragons if you drink that stuff?" she asked, unaware of what wine could and couldn't do.

"What do you mean little one?" Cordath asked sitting next to his adopted daughter glad to take a break from lugging all the wine around.

Tulvir smiled again. "I bet you'll be a great Scholar, one day, Laci. Well, I've got to get back to my ice-- uh... to my training." He lightly patted Laci's back with his tail then got up and walked back over to his makeshift training grounds.

(FYI, Cor, I didn't agree to making you my foster dad, yet. )

Laceris wasn't very keen on the effects of alcohol, but she was most certainly against it. She knew that if you had it, nicotine was released into your brain, giving you a feel-good feeling. It could make you ramble, do stupid things, and many other strange things. She watched curiously, but suddenly, the strange fire beast brought her towards him, and she yelped, screaming, and instantly ran towards Tulvir, hiding in between his legs.

I watched as Cordath offered his mate, Lynx, some wine. 'Oh his mate won't be for long.' I pondered, imagining Cordath and I doing mate stuff together. "Could I possibly have some wine, or are you saving it for something?" I asked him, curious on why he had it all. I sat, waiting for an answer while looking over at Laceris, wondering why he ran.

(And btw, we could end up having Cordath or Lynx kill Sear at some time, like in a different topic for when one of you gets all fed up with her stalking ways XD)

(Lol! And wait... if I'm Cordath's mate, and Laci will be his adopted daughter... Will I be her foster mother? GASP)

Lynx looked at Zorac, feeling a bit... invaded. This dragon seemed to like Cordath, but she was already his mate. Did Cordath know? "Hmm... Do you have any white wine? That sounds good." Lynx asked Cordath.

Akrkam saw Tulvir II and flew to him "Hello Tulvir," she chirped and looked at the other dragons and smiled at the IceWings.

Cordath began to dig for the wine completely oblivious to zoracs creepy stare he shrugged "sure" he said and he offered her a barrel and then.found something for he and lynx "ah here we go this is a good brand, good year too"

Lynx took the barrel, then frozen it. "Wine cream!" She laughed, churning the frozen mixture with a stick. "Anyone?"

Akrkam heard wine cream and her tail flicked she loved ice-cream and smiled widely

Cordath laughs "wine cream for everyone" ,he announces sampling it

She makes a spoon out of ice from a buckle of water, and made a few more. "Mmm, this is good! Want some?" Lynx asks Akrkam

"Thanks, Cordath." I said with a smile as he gave me some wine. I glanced over to Lynx with her 'Wine cream.' I didn't really like cold things. "I think I'll pass, but thank you." I said sweetly to Lynx, looking back at Cordath and taking a drink.

Cordath quickly ate some wine cream and suddenly grabbed his head "Gah brain freeze!"

Lead had been searching for prey, he hadn't eaten for weeks. He had too busy watching Stark since Ami was away. Now that she had returned, he had gone out to find something for himself. Lead dipped down out the the clouds, revealing the ground below him. The Firewing territory was close. A little too close.

He was about to turn around before he spotted a few dragons below him one of which was Areo. He thought he'd say hi. Lead tucked in his wings and let himself plummet from the sky, the ground speeding towards him at break neck speed. He opened his wings just before he hit the ground and let himself glide towards Areo. Lead landed next to her and looked around.

(Areo isn't here, Lead. It's her alt. and should I join with Zorac and Cordath?)
