Mason/architects! A new rank! Shrines and monuments! Empty Mason/architects! A new rank! Shrines and monuments!

Alright, this idea popped into my head while thinking about how cool it would be to talk to statues. Vulcans make metal stuff, that is their role. But what about stone things? This would add one, or, if we are willing to stretch it, two new ranks. The mason and the architect. (If we are only to use one, the ranks would be combined.)
Mason-Makes statues, figures, tools, carvings, pottery, and bricks out of stone, marble, porcelain, and sometimes clay. The tools would be things like pickaxes and the bricks would be for building. Everything else would be for decoration or, in the case of pottery, for containing or storing stuff like water.
Architect-Builds the palaces, repairs buildings, and builds stuff like homes for others. They would also build monuments and shrines. (See below.) This would be a very simple rank that would be well-educated in math. (For judging proportions, size, and other building stuff.)
Shrines-Can be found throughout the land, they are for particular gods and goddesses. They are smaller then temples and scattered for those far from or without a home.
Monuments-For honoring particular events, places, or dragons, they are found around the different territories for different things. All the tribes would have one for their founder, for example, the Icewings would have one for Ice, the Skywings would have one for Sky, etc.

What do you think? Is this a good idea, or is it stupid? Please tell me!

Bump!
I'm not sure architects could have a role in the tribe, it might not fit. Besides, we don't need 15 hundred more ranks. I think that, unless architects and masons being separate is both popular and accepted that they should be one single rank. The rank name would still be mason.

I think architects would be important because how do the dragons get all the buildings and such. Vulcans make things like armor and metal, not buildings.

I like the idea, but I think that those two things should be combined into one rank. They would be just below the Vulcans in rank, since metal is (usually) stronger than stone. (Or the dragons training to be Vulcans have to start out being a Mason so they get used to making things)

I think it would be really cool to have statues and monuments around, that way the dragons can pay tribute to the gods and goddesses. (Like how in skyrim, there are various temples and statues for the gods/goddesses)
Also i'm very fond of the idea of having pots to store things in, but that's just me.

I got my idea from that! (The skyrim thing.) Well, they would creat things like chisels and pickaxes, not swords and armor. They would also make little decorative figurines out of marble, stone, and porcelain. Essentially they would make stuff for decoration and to add explanation to where the crap the other dragons got palaces.

Seems ok, but I think all of this can be squeezed into one rank.

I know. I decided on that because, at this rate, we'll have more ranks that active members! As for shrines, they won't be very big, but just there for decoration.
