New Tribal Rank Ideas!

Alright, so, I have an idea. New tribe ranks. Gaurdian and tracker don't seem like they're enough. What about someone who helps in the nursery, or a rank for the elder dragons who are too old or too injured to continue their duties? Assistants? Messangers?

Well...

We've already decided on adding two new ranks.

Scholars, and Citizens.

Messengers are already Trackers. That's part of their job, too.
Unless you want them to be two completely different ranks...

I think messangers and trackers should be separate. Trackers are for hunting and messengers are for messages. Also the retired thing you were talking about is wise ones. I also had an idea. What if there was like guardian leader or whatever you call it. They lead the guardians or whatever rank. I think it would be a reward to people who post very good post. I don't know if there is already a rank like this but Idk.

What's the point of messengers then? Trackers quote "can fight" but is mainly for hunting, a messenger almost never fight nor kills either so the messenger rank would be kinda worthless if we separate it and takes away from the tracker rank itself as well, also lieutenants already lead and helps our the leader of the tribes so there's really no point in adding an extra high ranking and let's be honest, leading guardians.... Except in wars which we rarely have will that rank be useful then

What about oracles? They would interpret signs and omens from the dragon gods. Or mages, who could teach magic too young dragons. We could have high guards who guard the king, the job a lead guard would have has already been taken by lieutenants. But maybe messengers could be extra-small trackers who do their normal job as tracker in their spare time.(When they aren't delivering messages.)

Trackers are spies. They fight and hunt prey. Guardians are the ones that protect the kingdom and fight the most in wars. Mages would be cool, especially if the hatchlings have busy parents or feel their kids must go to a type of "school." And what do scholars and citizens do?

Well the leaders are for wars and stuff. Also the leaders of the rank would train the trainees as they are the best of the best out of the rank. I am just thinking that there needs to be some rewards dragon rank wise for people being active and having nice posts.

Scholars are like..... the scientists. They make anddiscover new things that can benefit the kingdom. The citizens are dragons who are regular dragons in the tribe, with no specific job. They reside in the kingdom and whatever.

I used to have 50 billion ideas for new ranks, but I forgot all of them. Derns it, anyways, I like the sound of these ranks, and it does make the tribes sound more educated and complete.

Although we need to make citizen rank a little MROE.. Exciting since, let's be honest in a dragon RP who wants to be a boring dragon?

True that arke, maybe the citizens can help the tribe run a little, such as give food to dragons in the tribe, go help the healer fetch hearbs. I don't know, just some thoughts.

Having a tracker to deliver a message is more proficient, as they'll get much experience in the field of avoiding danger, combat and a how-to-move through the area-kind of experience. Messengers would just be gaining experience when a message is needed to be delivered, thus less qualities improve during their missions.

The Wise Ones are retired dragons, but they may share their knowledge about years of experience in their profession they held during their active ages.

A Healer is basically the "Caretaker" of the tribe. They look after hatchlings and sickly dragons, make sure they're healthy, but rely on Trackers for food, unless a very close by forage patch, or a nearby forest of fruits is present, they can just pretty much get food from those.

For Assistants, the Sea Wing Lieutenant or any Guardian/Free Tracker may help in co-coordinating the kingdom, but I think the other ranks other than Lieutenant may have to seek permission from their monarch to do this, given that the amount of work needed to be done is exceeding the capabilities/comfort of the Lieutenant or Monarch.

Citizens are those who are apart of the kingdom, they belong to it. But given from what I've seen in the previous posts here, Citizens are those open/free labors of the Kingdom and can choose to have a temporary job from time-to-time? (O_o) ( Please confirm D: )

And Scholars are researchers like Phantom said(Liez Avian! Phantom said they're scientists of the group!!! LIEZ!) Shut up 2nd voice from my monologue, we don't really research "Science" like "Scientist" do, Researchers are the more appropriate term since they study and 'research' various things and topics such as architecture, now shuu~ (Wahhh! I'm telling Davian on you!! *Runs away crying*) Awkward little voice guy in my subconscious....

Anyway, that pretty much sums up a lot of stuff that happened around here. Anyway care to oppress this? Actually, feel free to do so, there is a 90% chance I'll support you if it's for a good reason.
