Personality: Solstice is a kind dragoness. However, she is not selfless. She has extreme motherly instincts as well, and is willing to look after any hatchling. She may also do this with adult dragons, though it depends upon who it is. She also has the tendency to become terrifed around certain dragons. Along with the instincts and horrified nature, she also has personality extremes. She can go from the nicest dragoness you've ever met to the most violent killer. She is protective. There are many things that can set off anything with her, it all depends on how's she felt earlier that day and how a dragon interacts with her.

Fears: Fire. She has a fear of fire due to a terrible history when she was younger. I will go into this deeply in the backstory/history section of the app. Another fear of hers is death and illnesses. Due to the fact that is a mother and a healer, it causes her to be extremely uncomfortable and even terrified when dragons are faced with death and possibly fatal, or life ruining, injuries.

General Appearance

Height: 32 Feet. (9.8 Meters)
Scales: She has icy blue scales that fit tightly together.
Eyes: Light Blue.
Appearance: Solstice is an icy blue dragoness with a lean and agile build. She is not muscular, but toned. She has small scales that fit together tightly covering her entire body. However, she has blue-tinted grey feathers on her chest, wings, and two single feathers on her tailtip.

Family: Solstice has seven children. Six of which are hatchlingpups, or wolf-dragon hybrids. They were born in this order: Ares, Amira, Liana, Ryder, Zayev, Lorelai. She also has an adopted child that wandered into Silver and Solstice's old den. Her name is Valerie. (She is NPC.) She is also mate to Silver Wolf. Sister-in-law to Shinae Wolf.

Skills and Abilities

Strengths: Solstice's strengths include:

- Fighting when around other dragons

- Fighting in order to protect someone

- Ability to fly when fighting

- Larger opponents

Special Abilities: Solstice has the ability to shoot ice spikes out of her maw. She can also breathe a variant of ice out. So giving it a certain thickness, ability, etc. An ability that helps her in healing is her ability to breathe healing ice. Limited teleportation.
Weaknesses: Fire, earth, water at times, light. She is also vulnerable to NightWing mind tricks that have to do with her family. Anything that has to do with fire, or when someone says "fire" makes her crouch down to the ground and have an inability to fight; as she's busy crying like a hatchling. (Or a dragoness with a tortured past.)
Combat Style: Solstice usually starts off with ice spikes, then she will appear and disappear randomly and use this to her advantage. However, she tends to use her far-off attacks and resorts to melee if those are not working. She fights like a spy would, or an assassin. Quickly, lean, and such.

Background

History: Solstice, as a hatchling, grew up on the IceWing territory. However, as a hatchling, her father, Drakhaa, managed to learn fire magic. He beat her and her mother, wild with power. Eventually, though, Solstice and her mother were left alone. Drakhaa had vanished. Her mother, Destinia, found another, kinder male. Solstice has  not seen her mother since. Though, fire ever since then, has caused her to recollect a series of unfortunate events that cause her to be mentally incapable of anything at the mentioning of them.
RP Sample: Solstice lay in her den of the IceWing palace. The sun has begun to show its round, orange shoulders above the horizon. She awoke. She had to visit someone today, as she recalled. She spread her feathered wings after walking to the edge of the palace and leaping off, taking flight. As she soared through the air, she awoke slightly. The air whistled through her feathers, the sound comforting her. It reminded her greatly of her hatchlings and mate. As she alighted down, she spotted the other dragon. She smiled and folded her wings. "Hello, I'm Solstice Equinox Wolf. It's a pleasure to meet you."
