Personality: Tenebris is known as cunning and calculating, his personality matches this in every essence. Relatively loyal to the NightWing tribe his fuel and drive is that of his ambition, to him every action he does is to further himself within the hierarchical structure. Known for being manipulative what Tenebris lacks in his physical strength he makes up for with his intelligence and his blind will power through the motivation to succeed. Considered cold and sadistic, this well cultured Dragon surrounds himself in magical tomes and experiments, a keen alchemist he is obsessed with order and accuracy, through this he keeps a visage of providing knowledge to all of the Tribe. With his calculative machinations and his impeccable charm his pure witt and cleverness he is considered a silver tongue and it has provided to be his most deadly trait in open conversation, giving him an arrogant toff like attitude.
Interests: Alchemy, Politics, Science, Reading, Lectures, Order, Discipline and finally forms of Power.
Dislikes: Simpletons (those who he considers), Whelps, Hatchlings and other Tribes...
Fears: Feeling out of control, being exploited and losing any position he gets his claws on and finally and ironically the loss of his own sanity.

General Appearance
Height: Forty Feet, without measuring Wing Span.
Scales: Onyx over his hide, his under belly a dark Grey.
Eyes: Metallic Blue.
Appearance: A large hulking build, Tenebris’s scales are a deep violet while they slowly turn into an onyx colour as they turn inwards into his hide, apart from his underbelly which is a form of very dark grey. His hide has large peaked obsidian bone spikes which run from his head down to his back, as well as two horns on his forehead which hang back over, standing at an impressive forty foot, without measuring his wingspan, this Dragon appears dark and brooding, although he keeps an arrogant and domineering stature, ever elegant and formal with his movement, if Dragons had an aristocracy he’d be part of it.

Strengths: Manipulation and cunning, his intelligence.
Special Abilities: Dreamweaving and manipulation and illusions. Tenebris can use his dreamweaving for good or ill. He can make contact with those he knows of other dreak distances and can weavedreams of peace and prosperity. In the same essence though to fall pray to Tenebris malfunctions. When the victim turns to enter a deep slumber for the night, the Dreams once under Terebris influence varies. They can come in the form of darkness within is overpowering absolute. No peace, only horror and empty within an unbearable dread. These Dreams develop into images of death and dread, so profound that all fears terrify those who are unfortunate to obtain the curse as they manifest into grotesque imagery to ensure restless nights. The anguished wails of abominations and loved ones plague those even in waking, the anxiety and sleeplessness caused by the Nightmares enable Tenebris to then manipulate his victim even while awake, with the mind weak due to sleep deprivation and current lack of stability, illusions then plague the mind of their worst fears manifesting into the waking world, despite lack of physical assault, these illusions cause horror and dread, resulting in paranoia and anxiety. These curses remain until the victim is healed or the curse removed manually through magical means, the repercussions of these degree of curses reflect upon Tenebris himself through heavy exhaustion, and his own inner torment of his own fears, this restricts upon himself in a drastic measure if used upon a being of power such as a God/Semi-God as not only can they no doubt detect the magic used almost instantly, but it may even result in the curse backfiring on Tenebris himself.

Combat Style: Fights through an array of magic and use of taking advantage of every opportunity.

Background
History: Tenebris found himself as far as he could recall forever being alone, out of control in his youth, he had no family to speak of. Considered the runt or whelp out of the majority of Hatchlings of the NightWing nurseries, he was cared for by the matrons but never had the love or joy the others felt with their families. Having the definable traits of the NightWing and his Dark onyx colouring there was no doubt to his heritage, and as he grew his pride for the NightWing Tribe which only expanded, it was this desire and patriotism which inspired him to as a young hatchling to become a Guardian although fate was cruel and due to his lack of physical build in his youth or for that matter even his flying strength in regards to speed and agility he failed as a trainee for both the Tracker and Guardian of NightWing society. Forcing him to take more academic fields bitterly, becoming a trainee as a Healer which provided to be a grand trait of his even to the stage of becoming a fully fledged Healer.

This role was not to last, as events transpired around him, Tenebris retreated more into the solitude of his own thoughts, scouring libraries and becoming obsessed more with NightWing society culture and its drive for what he considered greatness as the most regal and powerful Tribe of all Pyyria, which lead to his arrogant out look and insignificant view of all other tribes which in turn lead to a dense hatred of what he considered “Half-Breeds” what in his mind diluted the vitality of his people. Going on regular flights coming into his adulthood, around the NightWing territories he visited as a result to his own pursuit of knowledge taking ingredients from the forests and dark places of the land, leading him to become an Apothecary and Alchemist, which ultimately made him deviate from his role of providing aid as a healer and more towards his own benefit as his infatuation of the Arcane Powers only grew.

Taking the more in his mind the illustrious role as a Scholar, he continued to benefit the NightWing Tribe through means of his own knowledge on matters only he -wished- to share, in truth in his adulthood he had become regal and well defined with his build, far from the whelp he was as a hatchling. With his pursuit for knowledge it was only necessary that it became more complex in his pursuit for power to coexist alongside it. His motivation to succeed and define NightWing culture to make it, through what his ideology had become, the bastion of power and glory, proud and arrogant his willpower is to achieve greatness in his eyes both for himself and the Tribe no matter the sacrifice as he considered many “liabilities” which dilute this path must be removed. This determination is what has turned Tenebris from a Dragon of solitude who had hidden away to now fully stand in the light to fulfil his own desired purpose as he meticulously plans to place himself at the forefront of Dragon proceedings.

RP Sample: Tenebris was laid in a small clearing within the corrupted woods surrounding the NightWing territories, his neck arched as he stared up at the stars contemplating inner thoughts to himself, out of pure lack of interests, his clawed right hand digs his index claw into the dirt drawing patterns. As the moon reflects upon the onyx scales of his hide basking in its light, his moment of peaceful solitude is broken as his neck turns violently to his right as his cold metallic gaze fixates upon the treeline, something moved… Perhaps it was game, yet no animal would be foolish enough to venture this close to the scent of a Dragon, but a thought then crossed his mind, perhaps he was the foolish one, it was well known now of the current disappearances but those were mundane affairs which didn't trouble him, those were have been captured from his Tribe only had there own incompetence to blame, yet his eyes never falters from the spot, another moment followed soon after. Standing on all fours, he spread out his whole wingspan, standing ever domineering and arrogant before calling out “Show yourself, I know you’re there… There is no need in being modest”, as his well cultured voice left his mouth only silence was his reward, with a small irritated animalistic growl he stepped forward to where the movements on the various intervals were coming.

And in your appearance you say he's fifty feet, but under height you say forty. Which is it?

Thanks Shiningwater, grand that there is someone to proof read haha, I didn't even notice the forty/fifty foot issue. Now there has also been some light shed on the abilities and what have you, with a bit of hope that should do it.

Just a further update, editing weaknesses and the power itself of Tenebris's abilities to restrict him a little bit.
