Question

Are there any mountain ranges in this world that a crumbling fort past its glory days and a dying order of ancient warriors could call home? I looked at the map but thought it best to ask those more knowledgeable than I. Was looking to do a solo post to finally get around to exploring the story and history of my human character Richard and the "ash warriors" that he is part of.

This next question is to verify something is lore friendly with the site. Was planning for the order of ash warriors to have a phoenix bird on medallions. Or armor if applicable. A symbol of their guild. They would talk of the old days back when their forebears use to ride majestic birds into battle. But obviously not now as they live in a different world and time. Ancient history before then were born. Wanted to know if it was lore friendly for my character to mention the golden days of his order back when they use to be friends and ride great birds.

Yes, there are mountains in this world. Most notable are the mountains in and around IceWing territory, the active and dormant volcanoes in FireWing territory, and the floating mountains of SkyWing--which humans wouldn't even be able to get to anyway. And there's probably some in EarthWing territory.

As for depicting a Phoenix on armor or whatever, there's nothing wrong with that. Don't know about riding them. Seems unlikely given their abilities--would easily freeze/burn a human to a crisp if they happened to get into a fight or were flying through cold/hot temps. But that aside, what's your explanation for why your order was that friendly toward Phoenixes? Considering Lesser Species are hunted and enslaved by humans as much as dragons are.

My character would agree with you. Sounds strange and unlikely. There is no explanation. Just stories passed down and talked about with the only indication they were ever true is the old tower at the fort called the "Arie tower". Claw marks in the stone say once upon a time great birds once did reside there. In the end all it is stories. Everyone who once knew such knowledge as how, is long dead and no birds reside there now. Or ever will far as I concerned

Just wanted to check to see if it ok with guilds past and only talked about in stories now how is irrelevent as its just that
