Hunting Trip (Aurora and Jericho)

Svadilfare put on his Moonstone then wrote a note for his wife. 'I'm taking Jericho and Aurora hunting. We'll be back in a few days.' He carefully lifted Astral's right arm, which had formerly been draped over him, and placed the note on his side of the bed. For a moment, he stood there and watched her sleep, smiling lightly. He leaned over and gently kissed her cheek before leaving their room.

Svad gathered some hunting supplies: a bow and arrows, a couple spears, some rope for traps. Though they would do some hunting as dragons, Svad planned on teaching his kids how to hunt as humans, too. He also planned on a couple of these hunting spots being places that he and Astral had been to when they were traveling together. Maybe we'll visit a couple of the cities, too, Svad thought as he finished packing. After all, they would be near some and no doubt Aurora and Jericho would like to finally see a place that wasn't where they lived. With that thought in mind, Svad crept back into his bedroom and revised his note.

His next stop was Aurora and Jericho's rooms. He had told them he was going to do something with them, but not when. That was a week ago. He found them both still sleeping and set about waking them by dangling spaz fish over their noses. He had tried it with Astral once just out of curiosity and it actually worked. Once each was awake, he prompted them to get dressed and meet him outside. When they did, he asked, "Who wants to go on a hunting trip and possibly sight seeing?"
