The Finding of The Enchanted Blades. (Solo)

Cassian leaned down to check the pulse of the young, Noble family, resting two, blood-covered fingers over the 3-year-old daughter's neck, he had made sure to make her death as painless as possible, no movement, no steady beat of life, just the cold embrace of death rested over the family. Grunting slightly, he got up, and put two scarlet fingers to his lips, letting out a sharp whistle. After a couple heartbeats(pun unintended), A quiet scurrying reached his trained ears. Scanning the wrecked room he caught sight of his faithful animal companion, Reddington, the mongoose. Red quickly clambered up his leg and rested across his shoulders like a living scarf. relaxing slightly at the familiar warmth, the albino Bounty Hunter decided to check the room for any secrets. he slid his fingers around nooks and crannies, and pulled out a book or two for a secret lever. Just as he was running his fingers along the edge of an intricate bookcase he felt a small bump give a little under his slender fingers. Smirking slightly he pushed the hidden button and the bookshelf slid away to reveal a glass case with two daggers. His smirk grew and he softly pulled the case off from around the velvet red cushion. After freezing in wait for alarms, and hearing none he grasped the dual blades tightly, testing they're balance, and finding it near-perfect. Suddenly the blade heated up and three blood-red strings (one for each knife) plunged themselves into his wrist, making blood dribble down his arm and slide across the blades. He winced and yelped, mostly out of surprise rather then pain. Immediately he began to feel drained and soon after the sensation, the flat sides of each Karambit shone a bright crimson, soon dying down and just leaving these engravings 'Child of Terror. he didn't know why this happened, only that afterwards the tubes of red retracted back into the letters, and the blade became cold once again, leaving him with bloodied arms and confusion.

"Well I must say I wasn't expecting Human Nobles to have enchanted blades", he peered back at the pile of dead bodies, and shrugged, "they won't be using them anyways", with that he grabbed the sheaths and slid the blades in the black leather. After cooing some comforting words to poor shivering Reddington, he began his walk back to his client's mansion, ignoring the fearful looks the civilians were casting on his bloodied attire.

after I get my reward, i'm going to try and find someone to help me figure out how to use these dual knives.
