Birth of a Holy Mutant(Cass, Svad/Aero) Empty Birth of a Holy Mutant(Cass, Svad/Aero)

It wasn't taking too long for Svad's children to get use to Celestia. It helped quite a bit that she was home with them more often than Svad was. Human mother hood was both familiar and utterly different. It was especially interesting getting used to children that didn't come from you. They had to move a further distance from Kryo though. Aerouant had moved in and they needed to be in the clear for small dragons to be able to move about freely without detection. Celestia of course counted as a small dragon. It helped that Svad had accustomed their children to dragons before they had even become mates. Although them knowing about them and living with them was certainly different.

Celestia had been growing accustomed to her needs as a human. It was very difficult though especially when it came to matters of defending herself. As a dragon before she discovered herself a deity she managed her size just fine. She was the fastest dragon around, stealthy, and even ended in a draw with the FireWings strongest guardian at the time. As a human however her size was a major hindrance. She was quick and very agile but the advantage it gave her was nothing like it did as a dragon and was dwarfed by the disadvantages of her small size. Svad had been teaching her how to defend herself and sneak as a human but against anyone who knew what they were doing or against more than one if she were alone her only violent option would be to shift into dragon form. This exposure would hopefully never come to be. It would ruin their life.

At the point in which a human would normally give birth Celestia was instead forcefully shifted into her dragon from. She then experienced another set of trimesters as a dragon before finally giving birth to an egg. Celestia was fearful of everything and new nothing. Even the as the previous goddess of knowledge she knew nothing about a human and dragon inter species child/hatchling. When she was born she came out of the egg in human shape. Celestia named her Cassiopeia. It was later revealed that Cassiopeia could easily shift between a human and dragon from. Celestia was thankful Cassiopeia would have Aerouant to play with as a dragon.

Celestia slowly woke from her slumber next to her mate. It was one of the times Svad was home and Cele was going to use this opportunity to bring Cass into Kryo for the first time and the rest of the family with the exception of Aero. It had been a long time since Celestia had been to Kryo and still didn't know those who lived there very well. They also didn't seem fond of the fact Svad had married such a small and defenseless women. They didn't treat her poorly thankfully probably due to Svad's status. It was still an uncomfortable far cry from the praise and respect she used to receive as a goddess. First things first though. She still needed to properly wake up.

Birth of a Holy Mutant(Cass, Svad/Aero) Empty Re: Birth of a Holy Mutant(Cass, Svad/Aero)

Svadilfare and Celestia's day started like clockwork (if clocks existed in this time period, that is). Whether she woke with everyone else or a little later, Svadilfare was at his wife's side if he was home--luckily for both of them, the children were capable of caring for each other. Once Cele was fully awake, the family had breakfast then Svad spent the rest of the morning teaching Celestia how to fight without resorting to her Dragon form. He still wasn't totally accustomed to the fact that she could still change form. It didn't bother him, however; he was merely concerned with what might happen if someone outside the family saw. After training was over, Svadilfare usually left for the center of the village, where he trained young warriors. Some days he stayed home with Celestia and the children. Others, he spent the day with his father, who'd insisted on him learning more about the responsibilities of a chief--not that Svad really needed nor held a desire to learn more. But most days he was away from Kryo entirely, anywhere from a few days to a week, carrying out assassinations. With a new child to care for now, he made a point of demanding twice the coin he usually asked for. He also promised Celestia that he would be home much more once winter came and made travel impossible even for a Kryoan.

Svadilfare felt his wife stirring in his arms and smiled softly, opening his eyes. He kissed Celestia's cheek and whispered in her ear, "You can't possibly be ready to get up yet. The sun has barely risen above the mountains." Svad often teased her whenever she woke up early--because she rarely ever woke before midday. In a few minutes, with a little encouragement, Celestia would be out of bed. In the meantime, Leonardo was outside chopping wood. Alexander and Amelia were preparing food for breakfast and tidying up the house. As always, Aurelius was taking good care of little Clementine. Aerouant, the baby Dragon Celestia had brought with her, was curled up next to the hearth. He was still a little fearful of Svad and the children, but usually relaxed if they were around Celestia.

The Tiny Fury had no idea why Astral moved from the nice warm, safe cave to this cold, terrifying wasteland crawling with-- what did she call them? Hu--no. Who--that's not it. Was it 'hu--something'? Maybe... Heu-man? Hoomans. Yeah, that's it. Hoomans. Astral uprooted them from warm and safe, to cold and terrifying and crawling with hoomans. Surely she must have explained her reasons to Aerouant. He probably hadn't listened because he had a tendency to get distracted by just about anything that seemed interesting. On that day? A leaf. That's right; a dry, crumbled, dead and discarded, no-longer-deemed-worthy-to-adorn-something-as-beautiful-as-a-tree leaf. Well what was he supposed to do, let it go unpounced upon? It was a leaf in the middle of a cave, a treeless cave. It was the most mysterious and therefore interesting leaf in the enitre universe!

The point is, Aerouant wasn't too happy to be here without knowing why. But at least he had Astral and that other Fury that had been playing a really long game of hide-and-seek inside the magic stomach rock. Strangely, that other Fury--Aero couldn't remember the name--wasn't around all the time. And so while Aero waited for her to show up so they could play, he spent most of his time by the warm fire or exploring the weird cave that everyone seemed to know about. Really, there was so many hoomans here. Why had Astral told them location of their cave? And why where had all the shiny rocks in his room gone?

The most interesting and not scary thing about this place was the fluffy raindrops that covered the ground. But Astral wouldn't let him get a closer look at it. Aerouant lifted his head when he heard the hoomans moving around. He scampered away from the hearth and looked for Astral. His stomach rumbled. Hopefully he'd find her in time for breakfast.

Cassi was euphoric to be alive, and felt transparent with the ability to be human and a white dragon as well, which both seemed to blend in very nice in Kyro. She was very much a tomboy, and liked to play with aeronaut as well. She was quite nimble, and quick like her mother as a dragon. She dashed around looking for aero. With no luck she became a little bit lonely. But just as she was starting to lose hope she saw him and dashed once more to greet him. "Aeronaut, Aeronaut!" she shouted quickly approaching... She was rather shy, but at least she had a friend in her brother, she hadn't really met any other humans yet.

"Svad's comment was received by Celestia as a challenge. It fueled her giving her energy. She rolled on to him before sitting up on him proclaiming "Ha!" and then giving him a kiss. It was a human affection kinda like snout touching. She think she liked the human version better though. Was more intimate and sensual. Jumping off Celestia went to go fetch some frozen fish she caught the other day to feed to Aero and Cass. She did give them a little bit of favoritism as she knew them better than her other human children but also because she dragged them into the unfamiliar human world. It would be as hard for Cass though since she was born into it. It would be natural for her being raised alongside human and dragon children/hatchlings. As Cele was looking for Aerouant he ended up also finding her and by coincidence Cass found Aerouant currently in her dragon form. Celestia tossed them each 6 fish which she was happy not to struggle to carry around anymore. She expected them to be able to de-thaw them. The ex-goddess would then head to the dinning room to join the rest of the family in meal time and beckoned Aero and Cass to join.

Svad was a bit surprised at how fast Cele responded to him. Before he had time to react, she was sitting atop him; if she'd had a dagger, he would have been dead or at least at her mercy. Fortunately for him her only weapon was her lips, which she pressed to his. He returned her kiss, reaching up with his left hand to brush her hair back behind her shoulder. "Impressive. I may not have to teach you how to catch an enemy off guard after all." As Celestia left to find and feed Aerouant and Cassiopia, Svadilfare went over what he needed to do today. For once, he had no contracts and was able to be home. But as he thought about it, he realized he had nothing to tend to in the village, either. In fact, he had told everyone he was feeling ill and wouldn't be training today. How did forget that? Shrugging at his mental question, Svad grabbed his Moonstone on the way to join the children for breakfast.

Aerouant skidded to a stop to avoid crashing into Celestia as he ran about trying to find her. He looked up at her and--wait. FISH!! She had fish! Delicious, glorious fish! The Tiny Fury was quite tempted to jump up and snatch the frozen delights out of her hand--because how dare she tease him by dangling them in front of his face like that? But then he heard Cassiopeia behind him and turned to see the smaller Hatchling running up. "Look, fish!" Aero told Cassi as his whole body wiggled in excitement. And then Cele gave them each six fish. The Tiny Fury grabbed his and thawed them with his blue plasma fire, before gobbling them up.

As Svadilfare sat down at the table with Clementine on his lap, Xander, Ami and Aurelius were setting food in the middle. Today the morning meal would consist of fish--simply fire roasted and some in a stew. The stew was for Clementine since she currently had a toothache and it didn't require as much chewing. There was also some bread boiled potatoes. Leo had just finished chopping wood and was bringing in an armload when Celestia walked in. He set the wood by the hearth then took his seat at the table, loading up his plate.

While the other children were still getting used to their new mother--and to the fact she would favor Aerouant and Cassi over them for a while--Clementine was all too happy to see Cele. The little girl squirmed and whined to be put down. Svad chuckled and complied, watching as she tottled over to Celestia, carrying a piece of bread she'd been holding. She looked up at the woman, giggling and smiling, raising her arms up. Leo, Xander and Ami, and Aurelius shared a glance then smiled, watching their little sister.

Aerouant wasn't too thrilled that he was expected to join the humans while they ate. But something told him his extreme cuteness wouldn't get him out of it a third time in the same week. So followed after Cele but made a point of staying by the hearth. But he did at least show some interest in the humans; one of them anyway. Around Svadilfare's neck was one of those shiny rocks that had been in his den. He wanted nothing more than to grab it and bat it around on the floor... but that would require approaching those scary hoomans. So instead he just sat and stared at it.

"Do you like it here?" Leo asked Celestia to break the silence.

As Aeronaut suggested fish enthusiastically, Cassiopeia curiously peered over his shoulder, and the tiny fury gave a friendly smile, as trails of white flowed past her eyes and quickly followed just behind.

She quickley sat besides Aeronaut, and shapeshifted right next to him... She found it more "proper" to eat as a human, rather than as a night fury. As she happily ate, she was oblivious to Aeronaut's dislike of humans. "Yum!" she said in her raspy voice. "You said this is called fish?" she continued, "I do very much like it."
