Grand Tournament of 2017

First topic message reminder :

Yup this is going to be a yearly thing. For those who don't know Baldi won the tourney last year. The grand tournament is a pvp rped tourney. It is considered OOC so if you if you die in the tourney your character does not actually die. The grand prize for first place this year will be 2,000 DP or full god position and the title of grand champion of 2017. 2nd place will receive 1,000 DP and there is no third place . Seeing as I'm the only certified combat judge I will not be participating and will be supervising the event.

Alright you are going to want to read this carefully. For starts simple stuff.

Shiera vs Soulcry(has initiative)
Wake(has initiative) vs Zeoldrerrirth
Tahki vs Baldirak(has initiative)
Proteus(has initiative) vs Bassasail
Tenebris vs Amadeus(has initiative)

Who vs who was determined randomly. The numbers you all posted was who got initiative. I chose a number and the person out of the two that got the closest got initiative. If you can figure out what number I chose you get an Astral Point.

Now you are probably wondering what initiative is. The person who has initiative gets to chose if they want to create the topic or post second. Topics should be created here http://www.rpgdragons.org/f30-contests The person who creates the topic has the advantage of having first dibs on deciding setting details so you are probably wondering why anyone would want to chose to post second. The person who posts second gets to chose which location out of these locations http://www.rpgdragons.org/t4955-the-grand-tournament-2017 the fight takes place. So if you have initiative please post here if you are going first or second. If second also include the location you are going to fight at. If you do not have initiative and have been chosen to go second please post here the location. Once posting order and location has been decided the person who is first may create the topic. Be sure to include in the topic title the location and who is vs who.

Some additional notes.
If you have initiative but do not post if you are going first or second within 24 hours then your opponent gains initiative.

If a pre-revamp is fighting a post-revamp the pre-revamp may only chose as many powers as the post revamp has to use in the fight. Post what that power or powers is here.

The above note does not apply to Shiera as she is a lesser species.

Depending on how quickly this goes we might have a losers tourney.

I will go first and the location is Jungles of Venus.

My opponent is Post Revamp, so I will only be using two abilities. My common ability is acid breath, and the special ability is... let's call it Mud Vision.

Please keep in mind, Sly and Baldirak, that the second person to post is the one whom will be picking the location. The first person only chooses the details of their surroundings and setting once the location is chosen.

Oh, I aleady was ready to postbefore the the topic got deleted, but never mind! XD Anyhow, I shall pick... (Since we were in IceWing Territory) The Frozen Lake, during the day. I can pick the time of day right? I understand my adversary cam go first but can it be day?

Nope, as the second poster you can only pick the location. Setting details, such as time of day, is completely up to the first poster.

There's no frozen lake. The only Icewing territory we have is the Howling Gorge. Do you still want that location or want to choose another?

Must have been looking at the old Pyrria map, cuz there was about 4-5 areas in that territory. Yeah, I guess Ill go for Howling Gorge
