Aviur opened his eyes with a soft gasp. He closed them again, trying to shut out the sun that burned against his eyelids like some terrible wake-up call. He rubbed his eyes with a black talon and rose, shaking his head. Dammit.. He mumbled. Suddenly afraid to stay in the cave on his own, the FireWing quickly removed himself from his make-shift home at the edges of the FireWIng lands.


With a huff, he glanced up at the, tilting his head to peer at the clouds that drifted in a southerly direction. Up near the mountains, he saw black clouds forming together to form a heavy storm. Looked to be a big one.


With another sigh, he stretched his crimson wings and flew into the air for some fresh air. He found himself staring at the trees below, occasionally dipping into a short dive as he went.


Inferno was currently the main thing in his thoughts. He wanted to see her again, he really did.


So, he flew to where they had met, the ruins of Stone Haven. Of course, you wouldn't think there was anything there, just a field. But Aviur knew better.


He touched down on the grass and sighed again.

Tahki was humming as she walked, minding her own business. That was until she heard the distant thrum of a wingbeat, the sound of the membrane fluttering to hold up a rather large weight. She turned her eyes skyward, watching a large red dragon descend from the skies. They seemed to be troubled, agitated... Something. But was it really her issue? Not really. But still...

Tahki cast her gaze around. She was alone by the looks of it and she sighed. Just her and them. Deciding to at least be half kind, Tahki took a deep breath to calm her nerves.

Tahki tilted her head and nervously took a few steps towards them. "Hello there, I'm Tahki... Is everything alright?" She asked, slowly going towards the FireWing.

Aviur breathed in and released a huge sigh, closi his eyes for a moment.

Féadfaidh sléibhte roar, féadfaidh toirneach growl, ach ní chuirfidh aon ní a choinneáil mé uait.


That soft voice. His mother's voice. The only thing he had of her apart from her death. That song.


Subconsiouly, Aviur started to hum that song. Mmhmmhmm hmhmm..


A voice interrupted his thoughts and made him open his eyes and turn his head sharply to the left to gaze at the speaker.


A female IceWing stood before him. The first word that entered Aviur's head was bulky and then blue. Her head, framed by a crown that served as some sort of defence, was framed by snow white scales that accented her light blue eyes. She was certainly beautiful in her own right. How he wished to have muscles like hers.


The female, who had introduced herself as Tahki, asked for his wellbeing, which both touched and confused the firewing male. Apart from Infy, why would anyone care for his wellbeing? He cleared his throat and responded.

I'm alright, thanks. Just.. Thinking. Little shaken up, 'tis all, He chuckled and glanced up at the sky. Thanks, for ah.. Asking. he met her eyes, fiery orangy gold meeting icy blue. Name's Aviur. How are you?
