The lost (open to all [preferably Zaroc] )

After a long flight Tsidia decided to give her wings a little rest and just walk the rest of the distance. The wind is too strong to go any further anyway. "I've heard that it's cold in here, but THIS?! How can anyone live in a place like this? Now, where am I? According to map... I have no idea where I am. Maybe it's better this way. In the end you can't get lost, if you don't know where you're going, right? I just hope that someone would notice me until it gets dark..." With that in mind she begins her great adventure. A journey through the land of mountains and ice.

If it was one thing Zaroc knew, it was that the IceWing Territory was full of beautiful dangers.

The cold would ensnare you with it's cold fingers in just a moment, forcing you to surrender to it's friend, the gale, which would trap you in the brilliant white snow that would take your life.

It reminded him of Artemise. Dangerous, otherworldly beautiful, and something you don't mess with in general.


Another thing the Royal Advisor knew was that he had a headache.


The approaching-middle-aged ice drake sighed, his warm breaths coming out in grey, misty clouds against the ivory snow. He closed his eyes for a moment, his broad shoulders pushing against the high snow and shouldering it aside. He could feel the approaching gale hovering over the distant mountains. It would be another hour or so before it really kicked off, but even know Zaroc could feel his body struggling a bit against the powerful wind. No wonder only his kind could survive such a climate, it was far too unpredictable and far too dangerous. Many lives had been taken in this land of ice. Too many.

When Zaroc opened his eyes, he seen something he.. didn't expect to.


A young female,light purple scales covering her body, which grew darker around the neck and claws. Patterns erupted from where light met dark, complemented by light purple eyes.

Zaroc tilted his head. This one was.. rather small, for a dragon, with thing wings and striped horns.

Zaroc wondered for a moment if he was hallucinating, if his paranoia about discovering a dragon from another tribe dead in the snow was biting him in the tail, but no, there was an actual dragon here.

Lumbering closer, Zaroc set his ghostly eyes upon the female and spoke, keeping a respectful distance between them. "Ma'dam!" he called, having to raise his voice to a booming shout over the wind despite the close distance of about five feet between them. "Do you need help?"

Tsidias eyes turned dark blue for a second, as she involuntarily checked for threats. She noticed quick thought process, worried about something she supposed. Upon raising her head she noticed about 200 feet tall male. Diamond-looking scales covering his upper part, turning into silver as they went down to the very tip of the tail. She could call him a a textbook example of an ice-wing
"huh? S-sorry. My name's Tsidia. I think I'm lost"
She tried to stand up, noticing his rather unusual wings. That made her realise that her own are slowly getting frozen...
"I just h-h-had a t-terible idea"
Speaking was so hard for her. With every word her tongue got covered with ice. Her breath got faster.
"Do you maybe know where... uhh... sorry. It's hard to think when It's soo" She saw something in his eyes... she shouldn't have come here, not without any help, or proper preparation at least. Her every movement released a sound of cracking ice.
"P.....l.....e....." . Her mouth fell shut, since she couldn't sustain any heat drop anymore. Partially her body was covered with a thick ice. Focusing on his gaze she relaxed, giving away control of her body, shutting down every unnecessary activity to save as much heath as possible. Hoping that he wouldn't take it as a trap she opened a direct contact, and with something which seemed like a last call she closed her eyes and pushed a single thought inside his mind: HELP

Zaroc's eyes widened and he stepped back once the young dragoness' eyes flashed a dark blue. Then, she calmed and introduced herself, which relieved the aging dragon. "It's nice to meet you, Tsidia," he smiled at her, a small but warm one. "My name is Zaroc, I'm one of the Royal Advisors here at the IceWing Palace. You're lost? I am more then happy to escort you to the nearest border."

Tsida attempted to stand, and it was then Zaroc noticed the younger dragon's wings were slowly beginning to freeze, the ice eagerly licking at the purple scales. Zaroc watched as the dragoness' breathing seemed to lose control of itself, and her tongue began to turn an icy white.

Zaroc stepped towards her as she stammered out the beginning of 'please.' "Calm down," he said. "Let me-" he grunted as Tsidia's voice came from within his head.


HELP!


Zaroc opened his eyes and, trying his best to dismiss the thought that another creature had managed to speak with him telepathically, which would confirm his theories about mental communication, swiftly approached Tsida and quickly wrapped her in his wings. He looked around. The IceWing Palace was nearer.

"Hold on, Tsidia," he said softly, before he stretched his wings, his claws wrapping around the young dragoness and holding her tight as he lifted into the air.


Zaroc swiftly dove for the palace, keeping his wings folded a few inches for more drag. Breathing heavily, he felt hope tingling within his being at the sight of the palace, looming in the roaring wind.


Zaroc flew up and into one of the palace windows and into his room.


Landing, Zaroc's wing sweeped several ornaments off a few of the shelves, but he couldn't worry about that now. He left Tsidia for a moment and dashed to the window, glad he had decided to leave it open on his way out. Quickly, the Advisor slammed the window shut, and the shrieks of the wind were reduced to a muffled whining.


Mumbling, Zaroc quickly grabbed the blankets in the room and strode over to Tsidia. "Here," he said, placing them over her.

Tsidia let the paralysis take over, as her vision slowly blurred. She couldn't think clearly. The area was just too extreme for her. The last thing she remembered, before passing out was the air, gently flowing through her fingers, while some force was taking her somewhere. She always enjoyed the wind... . She woke up in a room, covered in some blankets. It was still cold, but this time it was rather refreshing. Blue raising in her eyes as she instinctively tried checking the area, but she was too weak. Before anything else, she saw Zaroc turning to her. She could feel him observing her, with curiosity. The second thing she noticed was that she was lying down in some kind of unfamiliar room. Not quite strong enough to say a word, she afforded a shy smile, rising her sight, meeting him in a quiet gaze. In that moment she experienced  a feeling. Rather warm. He just saved her life after all..."I wonder what he's thinking right now" Relaxing she welcomed a pleasant feeling, while her body slowly gave back it's control. Finally she gathered her strength and said: "T-thank you. For everything. I would love to pay you back somehow, but... (An echo of negative emotions could be heard when her smile escaped in a long sigh as she whispered) I don't have anything. Anyone. I am all I have. Alone.
