A moonlit flight (Open to all)

The snow covering the landscape shone bright in the moons glow, causing the early night to be nearly as easy to see as day. This cosmic luminescence was interrupted only by the passing shadow of a dragon flying overhead. Tezz had been flying for a good while now, and was nearing the mountains that marked the edge of IceWing territory. A good way from home indeed, and he was tired from the workout. He wasn't sure exactly what fueled his long flight, but he had some ideas. Wanderlust figured in, certainly. He was new here and getting a feel for the landscape was important. It also brought him closer to the roguelands that he was born and raised in. It partly had to do with the book he convinced himself he was sneaking off to read. But his heart knew what his mind was trying to deny, it was the crying in his family den that drove him so far.

Tezz touched down on a wide and flat rocky outcropping and wiped two streaks of ice from below his eyes.

The book was on local herbs and their healing property. UnlIke some of the other books he's read, he was able to keep his attention on this one. Normally. But the border kept prying at his attention, distracting him with the world outside. "If only sister was here..." He muttered to himself ruefully. "She would know what to say to mom, she always did. "

Tezz shook his head, as though to dislodge the invisible nagging thoughts. He needed a distraction, and by remembering the book he brought he found one. "I know! I'll find one of all these herbs and learn what they do! That way I can become a healer and heal whatever's making mom sad!" Tezz then set out on his near impossible task, reading left undone and his attention now too focused to notice any who might approach him.

Bump?

"Not very wise on my part? Then what should I so, O Wise Master?" she asked sarcastically, as she finally caught sight of the source of the blue fire. A dragon, who was currently no more than a shadow, flying in circles around her in an attempt to confuse her. Not very wise on his, or her, part either. Artemise grinned lazily as she created an empty, circular space in the blizzard where no snow would touch the dragons in the space. The circular space so small that the other dragon was forced to remain at one spot instead of circling around Artemise as planned. The dragon finally came into view, and Artemise noted that the dragon was a female, and that she had no wings - only glowing runic markings on the dragon's back. What if she destroyed the markings?

As the thought crossed her mind, she beat her wings to keep herself upright in the air, as she expanded the space in the air a little, so that there was a circumference of 300 feet. It would be better this way, otherwise there would be a higher chance of Artemise getting shoved into the wall of falling snow. That would end in disaster. The space was not so small this time, but Artemise occupied most of it. The good thing was that she was used to fighting in small spaces. The bad thing was that she did not know how this opponent will deal with the change in surroundings. But she did not let any of her worries show as she purred, "So...what will you do now?" There was a challenge in her voice as she met the female's gaze unflinchingly, daring her to make the first move. Artemise jumped into battle mode, quickening her breathing and making herself more alert of her opponent's every single move.

Hinu was flying around. He had been out looking for a herb that would help his mate Sapphire create a potion of healing for anyone who might have needed it. He flew over some dragons that he pay no mind to. Suddenly he saw two dragoness staring at each other. He landed on a hill a few feet away from them, and made sure he was out of sight of them. He started to study them, because if he had to fight them. He would have a plan together, so he would be able to win agasint them, or atleast get away from them.

Hinu could make out the forums of the two dragoness. After all since he was a tracker dragon he had pretty good eye sight; however, the blizzard was affecting his vision a bit. He kept sitting there watching the ground, while taking in the account of the blizzard if he had to run away.
