Terraria/Starbound

Hey hey!

Would anyone be interested in playing these games?

I got terraria and I know a few others do too

I would definitely be interested in that!

But sadly I only have Starbound, and not terraria so I can't join the terraria group ;-;

I have Terraria, but I don't really play it. Though if we started a server or something with the DRF community I would totally be up for that. It can just be a place where all of us could meet! What do you guys think about it?

Terraria on steam is 9.99, but sometimes 2.75 in sales. And terraria is fun with people

I have both, even if I tend to prefer Starbound. Starbound needs a few mods to be even more awesome though

But you guys didn't answer my question. Would you guys like to start a Terraria server that we could all get on?

Yeah, I am just looking for a terraria server. Idk, but this is literally all I could find that was free.

Awesome, Celestia! I know how to set up a server (I have done it for me and my friend), but I wouldn't have been able to keep it up 24/7. What is the IP of the server that we could join?

And is it already in hardmode or what? Should prolly make it before hardmode for new people xD

That is fine, Celestia. No rush. Au, I agree. We should not have it hardmode since I am new to the PC version. I used to play it all the time on my tablet, but am new to the computer version.

That's fine (as I'm clueless on how to keep a server up 24/7 If anyone has steam, we can just steam play till we get a dedicated server.

I would do this, although I don't have either of the games I was probably going to buy Terraria at sometime anyways. Haven't heard of Starbound too much, probably a little, but if it's interesting enough I might get that one too.

The problem with a Terraria server is I don't think there is multi world, so resources would go very quickly.

Then you just spend hours being OP and killing Dragons and things~

Or you make a large world instead of small....

And are we not bringing in high tier items? Like a global restart?

True. If someone needed a ton of one specific item or something, I guess they could go to their private single player world and then get back on the server.

Alright soooo I'm not giving out my ip because that would just be asking to get hacked and I don't feel like forwarding through another ip to disguise it. So this is what ya all are going to do. Some rules.
1. No defeating the wall of flesh. We will have a community vote about when we want to progress into hardmode.

2. No destroying peep's bases and taking their stuff.

3. This is an RP server so RP.

4. I'll come up with more rules later.

To the left of the initial spawn is my shrine. You can only climb to the top of the shrine at night. This isn't a rule its just unless you have wings you seriously can't reach it. At the top is a gem lock. If I gave you the gem for it this will unlock the teleporter which teleports you to my realm. Because I like rping moon and stars goddess.

UPDATE: Does anyone have extra Hermes Boots I could have please? It is so ridiculous, but I can't stinking find any! XD I am still in pre hardmode, but I have been in hardmode before on my tablet. But I assure you, i am not a noob.

2. Do I need to make a new character specifically for this or can I use one of my other characters?
