Personality: Howlerwhick is essentially a reptilian sphinx. A lover of riddles, he toys with both combat and conversation, and can be considered a nuisance or a rather unstable dragon, depending on whom you ask. Howl has many problems socializing, due to his skills being second-hand, learned from observation rather than experience. He doesn't talk much about himself, and bursts between a quiet observer to a loud and pompous joker. Howler seems to lack a moral composition, and has no standards - he will kill hatchlings given the order, smash eggs and kill those who threaten the pack. He has a love of the water and flora, a rare topic he will truthfully converse about.
Interests: Riddles, observation and the water. he also enjoys gliding around in the air, as it gives him a sense of peace.
Dislikes: He dislikes to keep a serious attitude or being a no-nonsense dragon, and often tries to get under the scales of dragons that are. He also dislikes being in hot, arid climates and going flying during the day, or being out much at all during the day.
Fears: He fears death, and being exiled from the Nightwings.

General Appearance
Height: At the shoulder, he's around average for a middle-aged nightwing. He's A bit larger in length however, and his wingspan is around 95 feet.
Scales: Howlerwhick's scales are an incredibly dark purple, and his scales are tiny diamonds with the texture of leather. however, his spine has bioluminescent circles running down his length, which can be dimmed with mud or prolonged heat. In the water however, they are vibrantly bright.
Eyes: He has slit pupils, and very thin emerald green irises.
Appearance: Howlerwhick is a mongrel of breeds, and has a very strange appearance because of it. His face has a spiked crest, and his mouth is full of thin teeth designed for fishing. a Sea dragon by design, his forelegs are webbed and three-toed. however, his wings are his main feature. Howl's wings contain huge eye spots, which disorientate and confuse. his wings are also very vibrant on the inside, being a bright green, while being the same dark purple on their outside lining as his body. Howl's unique rear-legs, similar to a Microraptor, are winged and have enough flexibility to perform similar to a standard wing, giving him a speed and agility advantage in aerial combat over some species (He is still outclassed by Skywings)

Skills and Abilities
Strengths: Howler's strengths lie in his speed, agility, and endurance. his wings are flexible in Air and Sea, and his disorienting flashes allow him to quickly attack in true style of a Nightwing. He has excellent prowess swimming, but is not as excellent as a Seawing in the sea, nor as good as a Skywing in the air. He is a jack of all trades, and his only true excellence lies in his tracking abilities and confusion tactics.
Special Abilities: As said, his wings are incredibly useful and allow him to perform quick and agile maneuvers within the air and in the sea. His wing spots also give him an advantage, causing symptoms from confusion to dizziness, a trait that can mean victory or defeat in battle. His breath, as perhaps homage to his mongrel heritage, is less of a gas, and more of a sludgy acid that can be sprayed. it is numbing and corrosive, but lacks enough mobility to be shot at high speeds, and is thus best suited for traps rather then combat.

Weaknesses: Because of his unique abilities, he has quite a few disadvantages. His four-winged nature means he is rather slow and uneven on land, and has problems reaching speeds in running a hatchling could breeze by. His scales, designed for water, are light and thin - and therefor unable to withstand much damage (His ability in combat could be considered a glass canon. he can dish out damage, but taking too much can result in defeat). Perhaps his worst weakness however is his mental state. Erratic and Unknowing, he has problems anticipating what others will do and often does not understand something a dragon with more common sense would easily recognize. Being quite small, he also has little stopping power or raw strength.
Combat Style: He fights as a wasp's nest, using multiple attacks and quick slashes to cover the opponent in cuts, using his endurance to slowly wear down an opponent. He is also very erratic, something that can work to his advantage or disadvantage.

Background

History: Shrouded in mystery, Howlerwhick came from nowhere to join the Nightwing tribe. He has spoken of nothing in the past during his time here, only stating his nature and loyalty. distrust has slowly been worn down as he has proven his loyalty, and although he is odd, his tracking skills have been well used in the Nightwings.

RP Sample: Howl glided above the swampland, the distant floating islands a silhouette in the full moon's glow. Oh, how he loved these nights, they hid so much and yet the land shimmered in their pale light. As he banked sharply downwards, he noticed a large herd of deer trotting on the swamp's outskirts. grinning at his find he folded his wings and plummeted. A cold-blooded bullet, he shot down until he was at the tree layer, and shot his wings open. landing on the deer with deadly force, it was killed nearly instantly. Howl hummed, content with his attack as he picked out the best areas of the deer to eat himself. then, he began carrying it back to the Lair of the Nightwings, a victory of the kill.

Now onto the review. You need to state in your inheritance exactly which species your character is made up of and the percentages of them. This will help determine what kinds of species specific abilities you can have and how strong they can be. How does his wing spots work? Does the dragon have to look at them to get confusion or dizziness? Is there a way to break out of it? How long does it last? Just needs to be a little more clarified.

What exactly does this do? I see you mentioned it's 'numbing and corrosive,' so does that mean it burns through a dragons scales and they can't feel it? Please explain further.
