New person here :3!

Hello everyone! You may call me Astraia! I am 22 years old and have been role playing for 6 years. I have never been a great writer and always had issues trying to write but that did not stop my love for writing role plays and short stories. I am a semi-lit writer and try my best to pump out great posts! I have never role played as a full on dragon before so this will be my first time. The only time I have ever done any dragon role plays is with my character Astraia who is a dragon but is able to have a humanish form. For most of the time she appears to be human with her white dragon horns and yellow eyes but she does have a dragon form but since reading the rules for here and the newbie guide I figure I can't really do that here so this would be my first time actually playing a full dragon. Never done it before so I hope to be good at it =)!

I did have a couple a questions though before I make any character here. I been looking over the forum for about an hour now? I read all the rules and newbie guide like I am suppose to but I still have some questions. First one is am I able to make a character like say a newborn dragon and then work my way up to something great? I saw the nursery thread but I don't know where to look to request that I be someone's hatching =/. And am I able to state in my Bio what she would look like and how she will be in the future like regarding powers and what not? Or do I simply change her bio as my character grows in time? Also when would it be decided when my dragon reaches the age it can fight? Is it certain number of role play interactions or responses? Is there any system thing that sorts out when a dragon is grown? And I think as far as questions that is all I had.

Now here is a little bit about me. Like I stated above I am 23 years old and only been roleplaying for 6 years. I know I am not the best writer in the world but I try to do my best =)! I also take a long time to post like 2-3 hours since I have a hard time writing down what I am thinking in my head. So I hope there will be some people here that are patient with me =)! When I am not roleplaying I enjoy watching anime and playing games. I will not list my top anime's as I love them all and I will not list my top games for the same reason! But if you wish to know what anime's and games I enjoyed I will let you know ^^!

Anyways it is nice to meet you all and I hope to make some friends here! If anyone can answer my questions and want to volunteer in being my dragons parents or siblings let me know =)! I have not made my character just yet as I want my questions answered first so I can write my character correctly. Anyways thank you for reading!

You can make a dragon of any age, that isn't too old, to start with. Many people love to play as hatchlings, and most lost their parents in one way or another. You can also age your dragon whenever you want, so you can definitely work your way up!

You can post this in the Gathering Central. You can also have it where your dragon is alone and managing to survive, whether it be trying to hunt by itself or with the help of other dragons that come across it.

For this one you can do either one. Some people like to keep it simple and just change it as you go and others like to have the adult version in there. If you do have both, just remember to put something so we can tell the difference between hatchling and adult. If you plan on changing it as you go, you just have to ask a mod or admin to take it out and re-approve it for you once you're done.

Depending on how your dragon grows up can determine when it fights. a Tribe-born dragon might take a bit longer because it doesn't have to protect itself like a rogue. Organised fighting might be around 16, but a tribe dragon starts to train at around 8-10. Of course, if your dragon is RPing and getting attacked it probably won't matter.

Nope, this is totally up to you. Once you get a mate and children you might want to try and stay on the same timeline as them, but other than that you're free to change your dragon whenever you feel.

Hey there and welcome to the forum ! I'm Hyruu, one of the admins here. As Areo said, should you need help in one way of another, you can just poke us either in chat or via PM.

I guess Areo already answered most of the questions, so I guess I don't have a lot of things to add. We don't really have a system to determine when dragons grow up, it's mostly up to you to decide when you start getting bored playing a hatchling and want to move on playing with an older dragon.
