[Plot idea] Never lose hope

"Never lose hope, my child. And one day, you will soar up in the skies, free to roar your joy."

An entire generation of dragons can remember these words, said by a carring mother, each time they watch the ceiling, dreaming of freedom. The last ray of light in a life that turned completely dark for the dragons.

So, I had this idea a while ago to adapt a scenario of mine I never managed to finish on the forum. The only problem is that because of the idea itself it can't include any already existing character. As such it's either a new character, a random dragon or a "copy" of your character.

The main idea is to play dragons that never enjoyed freedom. I want to talk about dragons that got captured during the human attack generations ago, and that have been since them been used as slaves. Dragons that have lost their prides in themselves as well as the hope to see the sky. Starving, forced to work until they eventually die, sent to battle to death for the sheer distraction, guards enjoying seeing them at their mercy...

A few of them would manage to escape thanks to the help of some humans that believe nothing their ancestors did could justify such a life. But breaking free won't be the hardest part of all this. Weakened and not used to survive by themselves, they would struggle to just survive, and we're not even talking about the human squads sent after them.

If you are interested in this plot and were planning to create a new character, simply tell so. Do remember that these dragons will be heavily impacted by their life with humans for countless years. This includes horns that have been cut, claws trimmed to the point of being harmless, wings too weak to even glide as they were never used, barely able to speak or understand dragon language (the language started to get forgotten over the generations), ignorance of many things including hunting, and many psychological scars.

So yeah just so I get an idea if people are interested, post here. I'd like to keep things going, so if you plan to join try to be active.

I could enter in one of my dragons to possibly help any escaped dragons, or maybe to get a force together and break them out. That would be fun. Only thing is would be inactivity due to school...

We won't have existing dragons helping them out. The dragons are being held captive in one of the human capitals, and they have the defenses to kill any dragon fool enough to approach. And no dragon dares to live that close from the city, it would be plain suicide.
And well, no offense but yeah I don't exactly want to have everyone wait a week to get a reply...

I forgot to mention that, but not all dragons are just slaves. Some became gladiators, as the humans often send dragons in an arena to watch them fight to death, either against other dragons or a noble that wants a bit of challenge fighting against a starving, exhausted and weakened dragon. But more than a chance to survive, it's more a death sentence actually. So far, the record of survival as a gladiator is a year.

*Currently Fangirling* OH MY GERSH. I love plots that are such a good read. I'm more about the story than the game play in any scenario. And this plot is so unique compared to the others in the past.

Though we are in need of a plot that may/may not relate to the lore of the site, this will certainly stir up some excitement on the site.

When the plot is ready, go ahead and tell me and WE SHALL BEGINNNNNNNN!

Well basically the plot is ready when everyone will have created/decided the character they will use.

Im usin' Harmony, and i'll create my app soon.

We already have a few characters for the plot, we're just missing Harmony and Cossy. Once you two will be ready we can begin the plot.

OK NOPE!!!!! THIS ISN'T MY KIND OF THING SINCE MY CHARATER WILL KILL EVERYONE THERE AND I MEAN EVERYONE, INCLUDING DRAGONS!!

Is this still accepting new dragons? If so, I'd like to enter a copy of Alyas, retaining his personality just that his background is different and his motives as well.
