Personality:
Hotheaded is one major word that describes him. He can be exactly like his tribe and also be very stubborn. Its his way or no way in his opinion cause most of the time he thinks his way is right. Unless its arguing with his mate or queen, he tends to just ignore what the other says and know that his way is right even if it might be wrong. He will not admit when he is wrong and that tends to get him in trouble sometimes.

Though many people of his tribe hate the Seawings, Edan is okay with them. Considering his history with the Seawings, Edan is very thankful to them and tries to not hate them like the rest of his tribe does. Though he has to be hostile to them considering they are the enemy tribe and many others, including his queen are hostile to them. Its hard to be thankful to a tribe that the rest of your family hates.

Though he is a hotheaded firewing, Edan is a nice dragon. He loves to make others happy and dislikes it when others are treated unfairly. Edan thinks that everyone should be treated with the respect that they would want and dislikes being treated unfairly himself.

Edan protects his tribe as if they were his family because they pretty much are. No matter how angry his tribe members make him, he will never attack them or hurt them. The only way he would hurt them would be if they touched his son Griffon. Griffon is his main priority and he never lets him leave his site no matter how old he is.

Edan likes to destroy things and set them on fire. He loves to set things like trees and others on fire just to see the thing that fuels him overpower other things. He tends to get crazy about his fire and dislikes when people try to get him to control his fire and what he wants to do.

Combat Style: Edan is a very good fighter because of his older age. Though he will never fight his tribe, he trains a lot so he is very in shape. When fighting he is very good at aerial fighting because his wings are two times his sizes. He tends to do a lot of tricks in the air while fighting. When in the air he will breathe a lot of fire and try to roast them with his immense fire powers. If he can't get a very good shot with his fire, he will go head on and lunge at the dragons while in the air, using his claws and teeth.

If he can't fight in the air, he will use his surroundings on the ground. If he is in a forest, he will use the trees to his advantage. He will either use his lithe build and go in between them or he will set them all ablaze, making sure it gets extremely hot for the opposing dragon. Just like if he were to fight in an open field, he would set the whole field ablaze to increase his chances. He tends to use his abilities to strengthen him and weaken his opponent cause they can't withstand fire like he can.

Background
History:

His mother, a beautiful feathered firewing, was not easily charmed. She was a spitfire and loved to protect her tribe. For every day of her life she would spend taking care of hatchlings and making sure everyone was fed correctly before she would eat. Many called her the golden dragonness not just because of her amazing golden scales but because of her gold heart and how much she cared for everyone in her tribe. She never thought she would ever get a mate but a male by the name of Shrukian came into her life.

His mother, Sliena, met up with her father one day while on a hunting trip. Her and him literally crashed into each other and ended up talking after quickly getting over the mishap. Soon they became very close and hung out regularly. Shrukian began helping her make her runs across the territory to help other dragons and make sure all of them were fed. Soon they became so close that they became mates after about a year or so of knowing each other. At least that was how their parents told him.

Soon, Edan was born. It was strange for only one egg to be laid but the two dragons were happy as could be considering they were going to have a child. Once Edan hatched, they could tell he was different. Of course at first he was lithe, not very muscled like either of his parents but like his father he had many feathers covering his whole body and large feathered wings and stretched large than his body like this mother. In all he got many traits from both his mother and father.

Growing up was easy for Edan considering that was when his power started developing but it was also hard. Because of his ability to breathe very fire at a young age, he could not play with the other hatchlings in fear that he would breathe fire on them. So he spent most of his time with his mother, helping her help out the tribe and watching her heal the tribe members as it was her job. He soon became very interested in healing.

His father disapproved of his need to heal others because he wanted him to become a proud elite tracker like him so he drew him away from such things. Edan was sad that he couldn't become a amazing healer like his mother but he continued to try and please his father by training harder and harder to become a tracker.

One day, he had been patrolling the borders with his mother and father cause he wasn't old enough to do so on his own when 4 enemy dragons came. They looked to be rouges and were very angry. For some reason they had been kicked out of the Firewing tribe and wanted to get revenge. They went straight to his mother and father, clawing at their stomachs and wings. They dragons managed to quickly kill his mother because she was but a healer.

They ripped her wings to pieces and let her burn in a volcano.  His father took a lot longer to kill but the three dragons over powered him and ripped him to pieces, sinking their teeth into his body and ripping and tearing. Edan could only watch and cry as the fourth dragon held him back. So the dragons wouldn't get caught for doing such a horrible thing, they tossed Edan into a volcano, thinking he would die.

Instead of dying like many would have thought, Edan was untouched. Suddenly it felt like he was just.. swimming. He wasn't burning and his feathers were fine. Rising from the lava with no burn marks what so ever, Edan attacked one of the dragons, breathing his fire on him. What he didn't expect was that his fire would burn the dragons scales and pretty much melt them. He killed one of the dragons but was so young that he could not fight all of them. He flew back to the Firewings as fast as he could

Once reaching the Firewings, he told them of what happened but they didn't believe him when he said he was thrown in a volcano. So, Edan made the leader follow him, showing him his murdered father. Before the leader was about to leave, Edan dove into the volcano hesitantly, sitting in there for almost 20 minutes before pulling himself and seeing the leader gone. The leader had left him thinking that he had died in the volcano. Flying back, Edan showed himself to the leader. The leader of the Firewings knew that Edan was stronger than many of the other dragons and made him the god of the firewings. Since then on, Edan was known as God of Fire and Lava.

The Firewing king that he had grown so close too, had soon died, which had put Edan into a deep depression. He missed the leader. He was such an inspiration to the male that he cried harder than he had ever done before. Of course Edan didn't know him for a very long. Since that time, he excelled at his abilities, doing amazing at protecting his tribe and discovering more and more of his powers. Soon, Shadowfire had resigned as leader, but Edan still didn't know him very well as he had the past leader so it didn't hurt him much.

Then, Kenina had been elected leader and Edan supported her fully because she reminded him so much of his mother. Ready to protect her tribe. He was and is ready to support her fully in her leadership and tends to get angry when others don't support her or follow her orders very well.

One of the happiest moments of his life was when he met Viper. It almost seemed like they had an instant connection and thats the best way he could describe such thing. Her and him were like peanut butter and jelly and he loves her with all his heart. Now apart of the large family which includes Astral and Celestia, he is very protective of her. He is very protective of his whole family no matter how many of them there are.

The other happiest moment of his life was when Griffon and Vexilass were born. He loved his sons more than anything and was happy to see that he had started his own family just like his father had wanted him too. Now he lives a happy life with his mate and two sons, hopefully going to add more to his family.
