General Issues

OK, I'm getting tired of this. The site is getting far too restricted. I'm sorry if this comes across as rude, but I'm sick of it.
First off: Size limitations. This needs to go, specifically for rouges. If the dragon is born into a tribe, the size restraints remain. If they are a rouge, there shouldn't be size limitations. I tried to make a character recently who had a personality and powers to fit a very, very small size. And I was told she had to be 20 feet instead of small, like 5 feet. No. Just no. This rule needs to go in my opinion. This is a story site, we need to have freedom to create the characters however we want.
Second: What happened to the registering thing? Suddenly I have to wait for an administrator to create my Icewing character? What?

About first point, I agree that forced sizes have to be removed.

The second point, it's an admin's decision taken to contrast the spammer. The spammer always floods the forum when the staff isn't on, and it's a pain to clear. User's activation stops the spammer once for all

And guess what story's have restrictions and in this story dragons of different tribes have different sizes. If stories didn't have restrictions everyone would have their own interpretation of what a dragon is. To some dragons could only breath fire. To others all dragons are evil and for me I'd make then all unbelievably OP.

People were getting sick of ridiculous sizes myself included and the site came together to vote on a poll and people voted for restricted sizes. If you want to do whatever the heck you want and have creative freedom then go to a site thats made for that. The only site in the world I have ever come across with complete creative freedom would be our friend creative freedom rp.

Alright, this I can understand. I have no further objection to this. Thanks for clearing that up, Altas.

However, I still don't understand why there has to be size limitations. Sure, most dragons are massive firebreathing monsters, but has anyone seen the movie Mulan? Mooshoo can't be more than two feet long.
I don't understand, dragons are mythical creatures, they exist in our heads. And-in some heads-they come in many sizes. Just because lore states they were massive, doesn't mean our imagination doesn't. They're mythical, we perceive them how we want.

I kinda agree with shine here, but I agree with size restrictions for tribes, but for rogues I like having small dragons. I understand it causes problems, but I do believe that no matter the size (as long its not like 200+ or under 4ft // Inless its a hatchling maybe //) you should be able to create it. Anyway I don't want to create a fight about this XD, at the end of the day creating your own dragon should be unique (As long as its not stupid/silly).

I also agree and will add onto this. Size Limitations should be packing up it's bags and boarding the "Get out of here!" train. We're talking about dragons. There is no certain/specific size they should be. If they want to be tiny, let them be tiny! If they want to be big, better let them. Believe it or not, I a, quite sick of the sizes too. It makes everyone's characters boring.. no offense. You guys should be arguing about better things. Not if this girl should be this big or if that guy should be this small. Originally, Cosmos was 500 Feet Tall. The only ones who through a fit (And were the last to know.. odd enough.) was Astral and Phantom, I have been 500 Feet tall ever since I joined this site and it was only a few months ago these two ladies said something. But hey, here at DRF you have to be a certain size to not be harassed on how big your character should be. :T (Still love you guys, xD)

I also think the site is getting a bit too restrictive, it's like this site can't go a month without applying some unexpected rules that would make everyone a tidy bit mad other then us staff :I.

I'm gonna add another thing to this list, hopefully it's not offensive. The admins are taking too much control. I've seen a few topics where an idea has been posted, and-before anyone else gets a chance to reply-and admin shoots it down. What happened to democracy?
This is me voicing my opinions. Don't like them? Tough. If the site as a whole decides they're bad, I'll shut up. But they're my opinions, and they aren't changing any time soon.
So please don't hate on me. I'm not a jerk. I'm just upset about what's happening.

No offense to Astral, but I think she and Atlantis are the one choosing what happens on the site now, and of course Phantom, she was always doing so xD. No offense. o.o

Anyways, I have the most stupid question ever. What's a democracy?

A government that gives people freedom to vote and such, like our government in America.

Frost the American system is a bit broken, (DON'T KILL ME ) for a good example look at our own

Basicly like polls about rules and changes towards the site.

Don't say that to me country! (Even though it's so true.) America is awesome if you're not involved in politics, our economy is a mess though.

The problem is the current staff apparently don't get along. This concerns the character's creation, the setting and the powers that are generally allowed. The admins have different ideas on the argument. This has completely confused me.

Examples:

Cosmos and Phantom says "Metal dragons are fine.", but Astral disagree.

Astral and Phantom says "Tribes have forced sizes.", but Cosmos disagrees.

I think we need to take a definitive direction and everyone has follow it.

Maybe we should have an overall limit to dragon size. Like, not different Tribe limits. We could have 15ft-300ft or something.

@Cossy, Arkhor, rayla, Frost: Democracy is amazing. But Cossy's right. America is currently out of whack. Just realising the amount of different countries represented here. XD

As much as I love Kaz's Idea, I think the size range(especially on the small side) should be larger. I dunno. That's just me.

@Atlas: You're right. We need established rules, and I'm trying to set some, because I'm so confused.

So, should we try democracy on this site Hope it works out better than America's and vote on removing the size limit thing? Then later decide on the exact range for overall, or just demolish it all together and such?

I think we should have a vote, 2 options: 1. remove size limit completely 2. exact range overall. And if people have other ideas, comments, or suggestions for the range (if they choose it), then they can post it below.

If we remove size limit completely people are gonna go overboard and be like

Height: 500 ft on forelegs and 1000 ft on hind legs
