Family: Her mother was a nightwing named Dark Skye, her father a wanderer of an unknown tribe. (Her mother is deceased, her father's status unknown.)

Appearance: Violette is a deep, dark purple, the velvety shade almost black, though in sunlight her scales gleam with vivid amethyst highlights.  Her wings are speckled with silver flecks beneath, a legacy from her Nightwing mother, and her belly is a lighter, silvery purple-grey color.  She has a slender build, with a long, graceful tail and neck. The crest along her back is webbed, fish-like, hinting that perhaps her unknown father could have been a seawing. Though her small size and long wings suggest perhaps some skywing blood as well.  Her eyes are brilliant emerald green.

Personality: Violette is still young, and prone to the impulsiveness of youth.  She is generally shy and often a little hesitant, but lively and enthusiastic once she becomes comfortable.  While she has many doubts and worries she will generally withdraw rather than share them.  She likes to think of herself as very capable, and this is not entirely untrue, but she projects a more confident front than she actually feels. She can be a little bit prickly if she thinks people are condescending to her.

Strengths: Violette is highly intelligent and also fairly creative.  She has had to survive  on her own and so she is very self-sufficient and has many practical skills.

Weaknesses: She is very small for a nightwing, even for her age she is tiny to the point of being a runt, and cannot compete in any sort of test of strength.  Another weak point is that she tends to assume she can handle anything without help, (and this sometimes borders on arrogance) so she will sometimes get herself into trouble and refuse to ask somebody else to bail her out.

History: Violette was the sole hatchling from a brief tryst her mother had late in life.  She has older siblings who long since grew up and moved out on their own, but has never met any of them.  She grew up alone with her mother, who after her father's abandonment chose to live away from other dragons.  Her mother was sickly, and as the years passed Violette had to take care of herself more and more.  Eventually her mother passed away, leaving Violette entirely alone when she herself was still not quite an adult.  Violette has never had much to do with other dragons, so she finds them often intimidating. But living alone in the wilderness was finally too much for her. So, determined that she would somehow solve this problem like all the others she had faced so far, she set out one day to find other dragons...

Well, either in Nightwings, or just to stay unaffiliated, however it ends up playing out. If being in a tribe isn't a requirement, then I'm not absolutely set on it or anything.

It would be harder for you to RP because you aren't allowed to be on tribe territory without the permission of the leaders.

Well, I've apparently been added to the NightWings, so that works. Though really there's nothing that can't be worked around, role playing is all about creativity, I think.

You could always ask the admins to change you back to not being in a tribe.
