The leaves crunched under Trinyah's paws as she trotted across the barren land, her eyes narrowed as she walked in between the trees. It was midnight, and she had only left the cave for about five minutes and she was already worrying about Arkhor. The hatchlings were only a couple of days old, and they still needed a reliable mother to take care of them. They had barely opened their eyes yet. But despite the knowledge and maturity Trin had gained over the pass couple years, she was still inexperienced with this, and needed a break. So she had come outside to the nearby forest to get some rest. Hunt a little bit. Maybe even do a couple laps. She had left Arkhor in charge, but she knew he had to head back to the SeaWings soon, so she'd need to be back at the cave soon.

As she walked into the shadows, she had no idea that a pair of eyes were slowly following her, watching her every waiting move as if she were a precious piece of meat. This shadow was producing heat from its entire body, and fire ran down its spine, but it was far away from Trin. She couldn't possibly see the beast's shadow as it skulked through the darkness and toward her. The creature was smart. Despite the fact he knew nothing of Trin's mother, Astral, he had, coincidentally, picked a new moon to attack. Well, almost new moon. There was still a tiny pinch of glow in the dark sky. He also found his job almost laughably easy, considering Trinyah was alone. Nonetheless, he knew Trinyah could be strong, for he had watched her amazing ice abilities in action. He was weary.

Trin crouched low in the leaves, spotting a heard of deer. This was exactly what she needed to relieve herself of some stressful behavior. As the deer ate the grass, the white dragoness suddenly lunged out, her speed astonishing as she lunged forward at the deer. She chased it, her tongue lolling out. The creature knew it didn't stand a chance against the fierce white creature behind it. Little did Trin or the deer know that another beast was following them, ts body scurrying across the ground with its stomach close to the earth. Its eyes were fiery as it followed Trin. He had to do this percisely, or else he wouldn't get paid. When he noticed Trinyah tackle the deer, he smirked and hurried up to catch her.

Triumphantly, Trinyah tackled the deer and wrapped her paws around its neck. It let out a high pitched scream as the two of them fell to the ground. Trinyah then bit into the deer, quickly killing it, enjoying the taste of its flesh as she shook its neck. Trin barely had time to swallow the first morsel of the deer before she began to feel extremely hot..... odd, that heat hadn't been there before.... Trinyah wasn't that naive little girl anymore who would just let things like this slide off her shoulder. She knew something was wrong. But she raised her ears to pay attention too late, and right as she was about the bolt, pain like nothing she'd experienced before in her life hit her.

The fiery dragon lunged onto Trinyah's shoulders, his claws like lightning as they sped over to her throat. His back claws burned into her flesh, and he smirked in satisfaction as the ice quickly melt of Trinyah's back. What he hadn't expected was how vulnerable Trin really was to fire. As soon as the ice melted, his fiery body melted into her skin almost as easily as tearing into deer carcass. Healthy white-and-gray skin turned pink, and that turned black, blood swelling up around the assassin's claws. His fiery claws dug deep into her flesh, causing oozes of blood to swell up around them and slither down Trin's body. His claws cut into her throat, sending skin out from under, and ripping into the soft tissue that helped her breath go in and out. Like with her back, his fire claws made it extra easy to rip into Trin's body. Blood splattered across the attacker's chest, claws, face, and tail and he dug his claws deep into Trin, his tail stabbing into her stomach. He was much bigger then Trin, making this job easy.

Trin let out a high pitched scream as she felt the beast tear into her body, her blood oozing down her sides as quickly as the water. She let out another screech and tried to fight him, but he was far too big. He quickly pushed her down as he clawed her throat, making her screams horse and useless.
